Daily Doodles- Day 201- 04/11/24

A doodle based on a story idea about a girl who can see generational curses. The curses appear as snakes around people's necks and she and her family members have this big, fat, long snake wrapped around theirs. It's big, long, old and refuses to let go and she's going to be the one to break it.

i feel like this is a topic that needs more than just a tumblr post to fully expand on but. i think that in modern-day christian culture we place WAY too much emphasis on Feeling and Emotion . and i think that this attitude is part of the reason why the most common struggle you hear is "God isn't speaking to me/I can't hear God". feels like the standard set is that you're constantly feeling a Supernatural presence and it's Big and Obvious and it Shows and you can't contain it... when that's just not it. God can be quiet. God can nudge. God's voice is contained in the Bible that you hold between your hands. If you're not "hearing Him" then maybe your expectation of what hearing Him is is flawed.

The problem with following Christians on this website is that half of them seem absolutely fine and then they are and they're lovely people and it's all ok but the other half seem equally fine and then they'll tell you they don't think women deserve rights

i know we all love our perfectly evil Ghost Investigation Ward, but i was rewatching the second Men in Black movie with my dad a while ago and I couldn’t help but feel like an AU in which the Guys in White’s motivations and morality more closely resembled their namesake could be really interesting … i’d love to see a fic in which danny works alongside the ghost police/border patrol/detective squad instead of being kidnapped and tortured by them
