Another WIP this time with Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite.  This is the piece I was working off of.  Love her outfits in the game.  Too bad she didn't make it to the retail cover of the game, just Booker and his gun -_-;

I like how the line work turned out but I still not happy with any of my results on coloring in manga studio.  Might keep this one grey scale and mess around this tones, see if I like that any better. ^_^

So I got a drawing tablet for christmas and I've finally had time to draw something on it.  Never did any digital drawing before so I did some fan art awhile I figure out how this works ^_^;  This is from the cover of the reissued Sailor Moon manga vol 1. Posting on tumblr to keep myself motivated to get back into drawing again. Think I will take a stab at coloring next.

Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link. 

Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.

This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.

So, uh, Adventure Time made me real sad.  Tumblr feelings, man.  I’m such a sucker for maternal/paternal themes, yeesh.  Be careful of those Adventure Time episodes with songs, that’s where 90% of the character development happens.  I’d normally put this up tomorrow to spread out posts, but I’d probably get embarrassed and chicken out.

Feeeeeelings.

Boom is gonna make a Fionna and Cake 6 issue mini comic run. I’m really grateful that they’re giving me the opportunity to try to create a story for them….

Fionna’s gonna be getting a new sword! And Cake’s eyes are going back to blue!

T-Rexes were born in wee little eggs, and they came out all tiny and adorable. I know, I know: paleontologists have been saying this for years, but we never believed them because they couldn’t produce tiny adorable plushies to prove it. UNTIL NOW. Micro T-Rex is three inches of soft and fuzzy adorable, and comes with that removable plastic keychain clip you see pictured, so he’s ready to hang out wherever you go! He is Down for Hangouts! I would type more but he’s TOO CUTE, look at his little arms, i’m DYING
