I hate being a person who loves bugs, I can't say anything without the person I'm talking to reacting with disgust. Today I had to literally beg a coworker for the life of a spider, and then after I put it in a nook outside she thought it'd be funny to show me a video she took of her killing one. Like idk man. Birds scare the shit out of me but I still get why people love them. They come in pretty colors and they sound nice and they're interesting to observe. I don't understand why people don't feel the same about bugs. The rich amber color of a cockroach, the iridescent glow of a fly, the intricate hydraulics that power their little legs, the chirp of a beetle, the art of the spider's web... It's all so beautiful. Why is it the habit of so many to destroy?

Im bout to rant about my original characters y'all aint ready
So I've been writing a script (idk if it would be like a play type thing or what) titled Ángelito!!
It follows a puerto rican seventeen year old from the bronx (self projection) name Ángel who has NO IDEA what he is doing with his life. He struggles in school due to undiagnosed dyslexia, but is very smart. Especially when it comes to writing. He has a pretty pessimistic view of life and overthinks about death. He is thinking of joining the military after high school. His family calls him Ángelito.
He has an older sister named Carmen who is his literal (platonic duh) soulmate. She is ill and wanted to be the first in her family to go to college, but couldn't due to her illness. She works part time at a cafe which is where she met her girlfriend Dahlia. Dahlia adores Ángel as if he was her own brother. Even after carmen ends up passing they stay incredibly close. There is some tension in the family due to her relationship. Dahlia is a Dominican women and some family members subtly suggest she should be with a Puerto Rican man.
Ángelito's and Carmen's parents aint too great. They aren't in love, but "stay together for the kids." The mother, Alma, is where Ángel gets his grim view of the world. She is incredibly depressed and drinks a lot. Whenever there is a moment of connection between her and her kids she fucks it up by saying the wrong thing. She thinks her kids are just to sensitive. The father, whose name is also Ángel, came to the New York from San Juan when he was very young. He has no idea how to connect with his kids. He tries. He fails. Ángelito finds himself connecting with his teacher Mr.Philips as a guiding figure more than his parents.
Mr.Philips is a young teacher who is pretty laid back, but doesn't play when it comes to his students. If they confide an issue they are having with him he will do whatever it takes to help them. Ángel's best friend Jayson calls him “philly.” He scolds him every time but deep down doesn't really care.
Ángel's friends are named Jayson and Madeline. Jayson is a trans dude who has been friends with Ángel since before his transition. He is hella energetic. Madeline is shy and doesn’t talk much. Mainly just adding small comments and offers silent support. She is very intuitive to people's feelings. Definition of a kind soul.
They also have an acquittance named Aaron. He was originally gonna be a bestfriend but I switched it so that their friendship develops over the timeline so they don't start off close at all. Aaron is popular and he does convinces Ángel, Jayson, and Madeline to go to a party with him. Ángel ends up getting drunk and freaking out. When Jayson and Madeline are at a loss Aaron steps up and seems to be the only other person who care about Ángel's safety. They get close from there
I might make some more posts about things like how Ángel got his name. Carmen's inner conflicts. Inside the minds of the parents. Or if anyone is interested in learning more about certain characters/plot points (please ask please ask please ask please ask)!! :D

I really don't like doing posts like this but I've come to the point of asking when I know everyone is already struggling to get by that I need to get some groceries...
I lost my job a few months ago and live in a rural part of texas where it's not only hard to get to a job but FIND anywhere hiring out here. My father who've we depended on lost his job due to the exstreme texas heat so where going down fast with my step brother refusing to pick up the slack while living here...
I've been managing to sort of get by little commissions from friends but it is still not enough and my range of commisions isn't getting me anywhere. I'm a Diabetic with a disabled mom, sickly step father, pregnant animals with litters and a bumb of a brother who refuses to help so I just really don't know where else to turn to
Just right now at least like a dollar or two is worth anything atm as I'm waiting for replys on job applications

I apologize in advance of witnessing my maddening Hyperfixation on animals that are now displayed in museums.(idk if it is maddening lol)
I just watched 65, a sifi movie about dinosaurs and it fr was our planet and i live for it! I was so happy and excited to see it when it came out in theaters. Sadly i didn't get to see it till now. The movie came out a few months ago. Besides that, i have a few iffys about the movie. The dinosaurs are attacking the main two characters. Usually thats reasonable cause dinosaurs, but only applied to the carnivores and not the herbavors. And i know its a movie but i cant help but think logically with it. Like the attacking dinosaurs stull when they wouldn't. There where these long limbed ones that seemed so out of place. I know im not fully knowledgeable with the topic i loved for so many years.
And another thing that would bring up roar among other dinosaur enthusiasts and professionals. I personally think its impossible for a asteroid to kill every creature on the planet. Maybe if it was multiple massive asteroids but a lot of people think it was one. With hiw big earth is, its not possible. At least alone. Years ago i believed the elements of all killed the dinosaurs. Where the asteroid still may have stuck the earth but there were also the volcanoes and other natural disasters.
Oooh but now i think there was no asteroid at all! There isn't exactly proof of a big boy rock hitting the planet. There probably is but im a tad lazy to go looking for it and i just wanna go on my mad rant.
Im sad the movie didn't add the acute tranasures rex(100% spelled that wrong) you dont understand how traumatizing it is to see a life size acute t-rex. ***it has lips and stares into your soul with its beady eyes and can paralyze you by its "roar". The roar we all know isn't how it actually sounds. Its a rumble. And it can easily knows where you are bc it has really good eyesight and smell.***
