Good Illustration, Not Only Of The Tension Between These Two But Also Their Physical Differences. Steve

Good illustration, not only of the tension between these two but also their physical differences. Steve is an athlete, every inch of him is chisled out of marble like the statue of a Greek hero come to life. John is closer in shape to the concrete bunker under the brick shithouse. sorry for posting so much but i HATE when a song's lyrics fit a character or a ship perfectly until like one line or perhaps the chorus and it's such a shift from the rest that it's completely unusable

“As if his Padawan could read his thoughts, Anakin spoke. “I hope you’re not still annoyed with me, Master.” There it was, another reference to Anakin’s rash actions on Forscan VI. Forscan VI was a colony planet at the edge of the Cron drift, currently unaffiliated with either Republic or Confederacy. Elite Separatist infiltration agents had set up a training camp on Forscan, their “exercises” playing havoc with the settlers. The most delicate aspect of the counter operation was repelling those agents without ever letting the colonists know that outsiders had assisted them. Tricky. Dangerous. “No,” Obi-Wan said. “We contained the situation. My approach is more… measured. But you displayed your usual initiative. You weren’t disobeying a direct order, so … we’ll mark it down to creative problem solving, and leave it at that.” Anakin breathed a sigh of relief. Powerful bonds of love and mutual respect connected the two men, but in times past Anakin’s impulsiveness had tested those bonds sorely. Still, there was little doubt that the Padawan would receive Obi-Wan’s highest recommendations. Years of observation had forced Obi-Wan to grant that Anakin’s seeming impetuosity was in fact a deep and profound understanding of superior skills.”

Ok I might be remembering things wrong but wasn't Luke in return of the Jedi acting anti Jedi in that movie like multiple times and implied to not do things by the book and prove the older generation wrong by saving his dad? Literally Luke the entire time when they told him to kill his dad was like "Fuck that! I am saving him" and was right!!!! Literally his dad's final words was "Tell your sister you were right." How can anyone walk away from that movie and experience and think "You know those Jedi were right all along" it's so ridiculous

I agree for the most part that Vader shouldn't fight Obi-wan in the Kenobi series but if there is one thing I disagree is that Vader does hate Obi-wan and actively looks for him at least for a few years. If there is one person he hates and fears barring Palpatine it's Obi-wan. The reasoning is a mix of things Obi-wan is part of his past which he hates, he is bitter of his defeat because he was crippled in a suit of armor that was torturing him, he is afraid Obi-wan developed new techniques and rewrote his wrong on mustafar, all he can think of is his frustrating memories of Obi-wan if he ever looks back and Padme's death is directly linked to Obi-wan so he'll also be angry about that. I think it's also stated or implied it was supposed to be a fight between rivals or people who don't like each other in ANH. It's rather hard to find anything about Obi-wan and Vader where Vader isn't craving his death or at best bitter about Obi-wan.

Disney, if you screw up Hayden’s comeback in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, I will never forgive you! That man got the most unjustified hate for years and he more than deserves to have a second chance to prove himself to the Star Wars fanbase (though it’s ridiculous that I even have to say that)!

Get it right or get out!

Another dumb thing i just realized about Luke dying in TLJ um we know Luke and Leia basically have the attributes of Anakin like his potential and power right? So they have to have the bodies in order to contain that power like before TLJ Luke is never implied to be feeling tired or in pain by using his power or is never work to over train himself or he might get hurt or die and even proclaimed by Obi-wan to be the chosen one suggesting he can reach Anakin's potential. So based on this we can presume Luke has Anakin's durability in terms of using force powers a lot and using a lot of energy. So why did Anakin was capable of using a godly amount of energy to over power to godly beings like the son and daughter and still live without any drawbacks yet Luke died from just projecting himself with the force across a few solar systems in a projection that minus well be a hologram in terms of how little it does? Like Anakin should technically not have as much durability as Luke does to handle that considering he was going to unlock his full potential most likely later in life as he is implied to be nowhere near Palpatine in canon. The more i think of the sequels the more angry i get.

Ok um, one thing I saw rather recently and it's basically blowing my mind and it's the fact there are at least around 30 statements on Anakin being the strongest jedi/warrior/sith either of all time or in his era. None of them say he is potentially the strongest jedi or that he could be they just outright says he is. I am not going to post all of them but the majority

Clearly Anakin was as strong in the Force as any Jedi who had ever sat on the Council. But as Obi-Wan had told him time and again, the essence of being a Jedi didn't hinge on attaining mastery of the Force, but on attaining mastery over oneself.

(Obi-Wan Kenobi | Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil)

But Coruscant was not only the heart of the government and the location of the Galactic Senate. It was also the home of the Jedi Temple. As the Separatist attack began, a message was beamed to the Outer Rim, summoning the Jedi’s greatest warriors home. Before the Separatist fleet could leave the Coruscant star system with the Chancellor, they found themselves under attack. Waves of clone starfighters, led by Obi-Wan and Anakin, stormed around their ships.

(Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith junior novelization)

This is Anakin Skywalker: The most powerful Jedi of his generation. Perhaps of any generation. The fastest. The strongest. An unbeatable pilot. An unstoppable warrior. On the ground, in the air or sea or space, there is no one even close. He has not just power, not just skill, but dash: that rare, invaluable combination of boldness and grace. He is the best there is at what he does. The best there has ever been. And he knows it.

(Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith adult novelization)

"It will be," he said slowly, meditatively, as though he spoke only to himself, "an embarrassment to be captured by him." The voice that answered him was so familiar that sometimes his very thoughts spoke in it, instead of in his own. "An embarrassment you can survive, Lord Tyranus. After all, he is the greatest Jedi alive, is he not? And have we not ensured that all the galaxy shares this opinion?"

(Dooku and Palpatine | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith adult novelization)

"Skywalker is arguably the most powerful Jedi alive, and he is still getting stronger."

(Mace Windu | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith adult novelization)

"We won't try, Anakin. We will do. After all, they are only Senators. Most of them couldn't hide what they're thinking from a brain-damaged blindworm, let alone the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy."

(Palpatine | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith adult novelization)

"And even if the prophecy has been misread. Anakin is the one Jedi we can best hope would survive an encounter with a Sith Lord."

(Agen Kolar | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith adult novelization)

Even after all these months, she couldn't make herself entirely believe that actual Jedi blood ran in her veins-not only Jedi blood, but the blood of arguably the most powerful Jedi in history.

(Leia Organa | Star Wars: Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor)

"You are on this Council, but we do not grant you the rank of Master." "What? How can you do this? This is outrageous! It's unfair! I'm more powerful than any of you. How can you be on the Council and not be a Master?" It was a boy's expression of anger, but it was true. And, as history repeated itself because it had no other choice, Jacen was more powerful than any of them except Luke. And he was growing closer to Luke's strength by the day.

(Jacen Solo | Star Wars: Legacy of the Force - Bloodlines)

"Haden has written a story that goes to the emotional core of everything that happens in Episode III. Obi-Wan must confront every doubt, every misgiving about his time with Anakin. Has he failed his Padawan? Has he missed opportunities? Is he even worthy to have been the mentor to the galaxy's most powerful Jedi?"

(Randy Stradley | Star Wars Insider 79 - Clone Wars Villains Face Their Reckoning)

Gillard also reports that the duel will explain how Obi-Wan is able to defeat his protege, even though Anakin has been established as the most powerful Jedi who ever lived. "Obi-Wan taught Anakin and Anakin has gone past him," he notes. "But when you get to that duel, it's emotional. That's where the mistake will be made. And if you know the characters, you know Obi-Wan isn't going to get emotional and he doesn't make mistakes."

(Dreamwatch #113 - Interview with Nick Gillard)

"Anakin's the most powerful Jedi around."

(Justin Lambros | Disney Adventures: Super Comics Special May 2005)

Many years from now, Luke and Leia Skywalker, offspring of the most powerful Jedi who ever lived, would understand their true destiny.

(Star Wars Revenge of the Sith - The Movie Storybook)

"Anakin's style has changed completely between Episode II and Episode III. He now no longer cares. He knows he's unbeatable. He's far more dangerous than anybody in the universe."

(Nick Gillard | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - Prima Official Game Guide)

Anakin Skywalker is the most powerful Jedi in over a thousand years.

(Star Wars: Miniatures - Ultimate Missions - Revenge of the Sith)

This makes Anakin, in effect, a Jedi Master, a rank that Anakin, with his unprecedented power in the Force, feels has been long overdue.

(Star Wars: Miniatures - Ultimate Missions - Revenge of the Sith)

Anakin Skywalker was the most powerful Jedi the galaxy had ever known . . . Anakin was also peerless in combat, invincible against any opponent.

(Star Wars: The Official Figurine Collection #8)

Thus, Darth Vader becomes a ‘fallen angel’ figure. From being the most powerful Jedi, a fearless hero of the Republic, Anakin falls to the lowest possible point because of his desire for power and security.

(Star Wars: The Official Figurine Collection #12)

Deep and layered are the schemes of the Dark Lord Sidious, Sith Master and architect of the fall of the Republic. Perceiving in young Anakin Skywalker a strength as yet unseen among even the greatest of the Jedi, the Sith Lord engineers elements into his plans, rich in contingencies, that might either turn the troubled Jedi to his own purpose, or else destroy him altogether.

(Star Wars: Sideshow Collectibles - Asajj Ventress statue)

Darth Sidious adheres to a tradition of secrecy imposed by the Sith a thousand years before, working his evil schemes through intermediaries and dupes while remaining hidden in the shadows. His organization includes politicians and anarchists, crime lords and corrupt law enforcement, schemers and dreamers, the wealthy and the impoverished-and, as the war draws to a close, the most powerful Jedi Knight alive: Anakin Skywalker.

(Star Wars: The Clone Wars Campaign Guide)

The mightiest of the Jedi is Anakin Skywalker, rumored to be the Chosen One destined to bring balance to the Force.

(Star Wars: The Clone Wars Episode Guide)

Skywalker was seduced by the dark side of the Force. His boundless abilities fueled a sense of pride that hastened his fall . . . Palpatine elevated himself to the position of Emperor, and dispatched Vader as his ultimate enforcer. With his unparalleled Force abilities, Vader swept through the Jedi Temple.

(Official Star Wars Website - Databank: Darth Vader)

Here is a kicker there is this statement repeated 3 separate times by 3 Revenge of the sith related material implying this line was suppose to in the movie because you do not just repeat this line 3 times without a higher up wanting you to put it there in all 3 sources people are going to read

"Lord Vader, your skills are unmatched by any Sith before you. Go forth, my boy. Go forth, and bring peace to our Empire."

(Palpatine | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith adult novelization)

"Lord Vader, your skills are unmatched by any Sith before you," the cloaked figure said. “Now go, and bring peace to the Empire."

(Palpatine | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith junior novelization)

"You have done well, my new apprentice. Your skills are unmatched by any Sith before you. Now go, Lord Vader, and bring peace to the Empire."

(Darth Sidious | Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith comic)

As the Clone Wars rage across the galaxy, young Jedi hero Anakin Skywalker falls to the dark side of the Force and becomes the most powerful enemy ever faced by the Jedi.

(Hasbro Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith action figure line)

Like for anyone wanting to argue Yoda or Mace are stronger than Anakin and could beat him in a fight you have to argue somehow all the people involved in this were exaggerating each and every time and that somehow no one else rained in or said they couldn't say that and let them license those statements. I don't know about anyone else but if an author, series creator, or licensed material says something over a dozen times about their character when does that statement stop being a mistake they might have made and start becoming an actual fact in their universe?

Hot take that shouldn't be a hot take Anakin is one of if not the strongest jedi in the jedi order

Anakin in the movies and legends should be given a lot more credit than people think. Anakin even as far back as ATOC is stronger than most people think the people who worked on the films made sure to put Anakin as front and center as one of the strongest jedi the order has to offer. For example, Obi-wan is literally mocked by Dooku and said to be a disappointment yet people fail to realize and pay attention to the fact that Dooku never says anything like that to Anakin in their fight. This is how Dooku looks after their fight

image

Does that look like the face of someone who had an easy time against their opponent and had no trouble? I don't think so. Now lets add more stuff to suggest Anakin is no joke

When asked who would win in a fight -- Ray Park’s Darth Maul or Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker -- Gillard had no hesitation. "Hayden would cream Darth Maul."

Source: Sword Master & Apprentice

Here Nick Gillard said with no hesitation that Anakin in ATOC would "cream" Maul not beat him not that it would be close but low diff him. Anakin grows significantly stronger than this(well he would if it weren't for TCW) to the point where becomes stronger than any jedi in the jedi order

This is Anakin Skywalker:

The most powerful Jedi of his generation.

Source: Revenge of the Sith

Gillard also reports that the duel will explain how Obi-Wan is able to defeat his protege, even though Anakin has been established as the most powerful Jedi who ever lived.

Source: The Making of Revenge of the Sith

At nine years of age he had been an expert Podracer; by twenty-one he would have been a galactic champion. With or without Qui-Gon's or Watto's help, he would eventually have won the Boonta Eve race, and his reputation would have been made. He would have bought freedom for himself, his mother, all the slaves in Mos Espa, gone on to win the Grand Races on Malastare, been hailed in the gambling casinos on Ord Mantell and Coruscant. He wouldn't have become a Jedi--he would have been too old to train--would never have learned to wield a lightsaber. But he would have been able to fly rings around the finest of Jedi pilots, including Saesee Tiin.

And he still would have been stronger in the Force than any of them.

Even one quote in junior novel from Yoda's perspective says Anakin was the strongest and someone asked about it to the author and the author went out of his way to say yes he meant to include Yoda in that statement and that George *made* *sure* Anakin was the strongest jedi. So if an author went out of his way to say "Yeah Anakin is the strongest the creator himself made sure to make that clear." Why do people still question these quotes?

Some people i have seen to act say "Oh Dooku was told to hold back on Anakin in ROTS that means he is a lot stronger and would win their fight if they fought for real" yet people also fail to realize that was the original plan up until Anakin and Obi-wan went all out and Dooku stopped holding back because if he didn't he would be dead. Even then we have quotes saying Anakin is stronger than Dooku

"Lord Vader, your skills are unmatched by any Sith before you. Go forth, my boy. Go forth, and bring peace to our Empire."

Source: Revenge of the Sith

"Soon, I shall have a new apprentice. One far younger and more powerful."

Source: Revenge of the Sith

Sidious then turned his attention to Anakin Skywalker, knowing that young Skywalker was much stronger in the Force than Tyranus.

Source: The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia

Sidious bared his teeth, but only briefly. "Darth Tyranus knew what he risked, Lord Vader. If he had been stronger in the dark side, you would be dead, and he would be my right hand."

Source: Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader

Re-live the incredible battle between two of the most powerful Jedi of all - as they fight to the finish on a Trade Federation Cruiser! Only the strongest Jedi remains—will it be the light side or the dark side of the Force?

Source: Battle Arena: Federation Cruiser

Sidious is merely playing for time until he is ready to replace Tyranus with a new, more powerful apprentice, who will help him to achieve his ultimate aim: utter subjugation of the galaxy under Sith rule and the formation of a merciless new order — the Galactic Empire.

Source: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections

Also before anyone mentions this Obi-wan as much as i like him did not beat a prime Anakin. They make it quite clear Anakin is above Obi-wan under normal circumstance

"When I started, I figured that a youngling is a level one. And somebody like Kit Fisto - seven. I did take it to eight and nine, but not many people know that. Eight and nine is cheat. So Obi-Wan is eight. Yoda is nine. Mace is eight, bordering on nine. Anakin is nine."

Source: https://youtu.be/Z2-iZNQrFBA?t=908

"Yes, but it's like a Richter scale - an earthquake - and so the difference between seven and eight and eight and nine is enormous."

Source: https://youtu.be/Z2-iZNQrFBA?t=946

"Obi-Wan has gone up one level from Episode I to Episode III, but it’s a huge jump from one level to another. It’s not just about a style of fighting—it’s mental as well. Anakin has gone up probably four levels from Episode II to Episode III. So he’s gone beyond Obi-Wan, but he hasn’t gone beyond him mentally."

Source: http://www.theforce.net/episode3/story/nick_gillard_talks_rots_game_92147.asp

The ease with which Kenobi had taken command of the situation was frightening. More frightening was the fact that of the two, Skywalker was reportedly the greater warrior.

Source: Revenge of the Sith

He had been a superior fighter even when he had been Anakin Skywalker, and yet Obi-Wan had defeated him.

Source: Death Star

So why did Obi-wan win? Well its because Anakin was vulnerable

Anakin had still been between worlds then, and vulnerable.

Source: Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader

Now even then Obi-wan admits he is going to lose if it weren't for the high ground

As Anakin’s lightsaber hummed toward him, a calm certainty filled Obi-Wan. Anakin was going to kill him. Oh, he’d make Anakin work for it. He’d fight with everything he had. But he was positive, with the sureness that came from any Force-driven insight, that he would die at Anakin’s hands.

Source: Revenge of the Sith Junior Novelization

So yeah Anakin is one of the top tiers in SW not much else to say

Luke Skywalker should easily be one of if not the strongest person in the sequel trilogy even if we discount the EU and George Lucas' word

Ok I know a lot of people already talked about the sequel trilogy and its many glaring issues but I wanted to address something that hasn't really been talked about as much as it should be and that is how strong Luke should be.

First of all, let's address a few basic facts which are: Anakin, Leia, and Luke are all confirmed to have the greatest potential by George Lucas himself and the movies which are implied multiple times like when Anakin in TPM is shown to have higher potential than Yoda and Palpatine also realizes Anakin could become stronger than him both he and Yoda are shown to be equals, Luke is stated to have the potential to overthrow Palpatine who is stated to be stronger than when he was in ROTS and Leia is stated by Yoda in ESB that she would be their best bet if Luke dies or falls to the dark side implying both are equals. So all 3 at max potential are capable of killing Palpatine the strongest villain in SW at that point mind you all 3 were implied to be capable of doing that in a rather short amount of time too.

Another basic fact as well Dooku got stronger and became a better duelist despite being in his 80s. Why is this relevant? Well, I have been noticing a lot of people saying Luke was too old and was not in his prime but what they don't know or realized is that Jedi and Sith don't get weaker with age if anything they get stronger. Hell, there is even a sourcebook from TCW stating Dooku was getting stronger throughout the war causing Palpatine to become rather uncomfortable with what was going on with his apprentice. Now Luke was not some old man very much past his prime when he died he was 8 years older than his father who was 45 and the same age as Mace Windu who was 53. So Luke if anything should be either *reaching* his prime or already be in it.

Let's also keep in mind one thing Luke was confirmed to be inactive and didn't train for 6 years. This is confirmed by the ROS visual dictionary stating Luke's temple was destroyed 6 years ago before The Force Awakens happens(Which leaves the question how the jedi were a myth? But that is a question for another time). So Luke wouldn't have gotten much weaker than what he once was.

And the final fact was that Anakin would be on the same level as the ones of mortis and so would Luke and Leia. This is confirmed multiple times.

Despite all these facts that are well known throughout SW TLJ Luke is somehow suggested to be inferior to Kylo,Rey and Palpatine. Hell he was stated to be afraid of Kylo and Rey's dark side power. Yet Luke should easily be someone who does not feel threatened by it because he is still far stronger. Let's keep in mind Palpatine is heavily suggested to be at his weakest in ROS until he absorbs the dyad and still stomps all over Rey and Kylo easily. So if a weakened Palpatine could do that why is Luke the guy who should have been above Palpatine *ages* ago somehow inferior to that version of Palpatine. No matter how you judge it Luke should be capable of basically due what Palpatine could do but even more.

I am just going to throw in what Luke could do or has done in the EU:

Originally Luke mastered all 7 forms of lightsaber combat, easily defeat his dark side nephew by just staring at him(Ps Luke was pushing 60 when he did that), fought a being on the same level as the ones of mortis, shown incredible intelligence and wisdom as the grandmaster, has mastery over the dark side and is strong enough to the point that he is confident in beating beings on the same level as Vader without to much difficulty in the form of his nephew.

To anyone who wants to argue that Luke should not be that strong well you have to argue against the narrative as that's what he was to become when he reached his prime.

Crazy fanfic idea i had a few days ago not sure if this has been done in this way at least. Instead of the Son of Mortis making Anakin see the future he does much crazier idea that he could probably do. Imagine this Anakin fights the Son of Mortis but fails and the son tells him he can perfect him which confuses Anakin. Then cut to Obi-wan and Ahsoka looking for him when all of a sudden there is a massive scream which becomes a tremor in the Force causing Ahsoka nearly fall unconscious from the headache and Obi-wan falls down confused then cut to Yoda and Mace in meditation immeadeately both opening their eyes in absolute fear. Then cut to Serreno where Dooku is looking out the window with eyes searching in worry as he starts to sweat and then cut to Maul and Savage(This actually happens after Maul is resurrected in the fic) and then finally to Palpatine who is in his office with eyes wide in shock before narrowing and turning around to the window pondering. Then it's back to Obi-wan and Ahsoka who both run to the son and then find the father and daughter (who is still alive) as well with Anakin on his knees grabbing his hair screaming his head off. They run to him but the father stops them as Anakin looks up with a yellow eye pale face corrupted by the dark side and blue eye and the rest of it looking normal as the yellow eye narrows and screams "OBI-WAN!!!" as he looks up continuing his scream before the scream dies out. "Anakin" closes his eyes and takes in a breath controlling his power he was releasing before letting out his breath he was holding and says "I don't remember the last time i took a breath of fresh air." "Anakin" begins to grin in a dark way and starts to laugh and releasing more energy before looking at Obi-wan and Ahsoka revealing to the audience a spirit behind Anakin a pale, wounded and bald face in the form of Darth Vader taking control of Anakin.

I have headcanon that Anakin told Padme at one point about the angels he met in Iego. And she playfully asks if they are the most beautiful creatures in the galaxy he answers truthfully that the legend was exaggerating and she was far more beautiful compared to them.

So, India is dying.

Look, I know a good number of you are from the US and things aren't amazing there either, but my country is literally on the brink of collapse. So I'd love it if we could talk about that for a minute.

If you can't do anything else, please just read and reblog.

A second COVID wave has taken out the healthcare system. There are no more hospital beds. There's an oxygen shortage. There's a critical vaccine shortage. The Central Government has thrown its hands up and is passing the baton to the State Governments to do what they can.

There are over 16 million covid cases. A record 330,000 new cases reported yesterday - comparable to the US at its peak. 187,000 dead as of today.

There is no plan.

Mass cremations are taking place. The cremation grounds are running day and night and they are short on wood. People are watching their loved ones die while waiting for a hospital bed, and then they're unable to give them the proper burial rights.

So, India Is Dying.

Hospitals are overwhelmed. Patients are being confined, two to a bed. They're the lucky ones.

So, India Is Dying.

We are on the verge of people dying in the streets.

This is the second-most populous country in the world. The largest democracy. A country that encapsulates over 15,000 years of recorded human history and has endured everything from famine to invasion to colonisation.

We might be at the end. This might be the thing that does us in.

People are dying.

So, India Is Dying.

People are dying.

So, India Is Dying.

People are dying and there is no plan.

So, India Is Dying.

More good news? Variants are popping up. A double mutation strain has shown up. It is resistant to current vaccines. This will not go away. This is the devastation they warned of when the anti-maskers were out protesting the minor inconvenience of covering their face in public.

My country is on the verge of an emergency state. Our government has failed us. This is as dire a situation as it ever could be.

Look. I don't do much with my life. I write fics, some of you have read them and that's pretty much it. I spend my days with my head in the clouds because that's where I like to be.

But two days ago, my grandmother tested positive, had to be taken to hospital and the ambulance caught fire.

She barely made it to the urgent care she needs.

So, here I am, using whatever meager platform I have to cobble this request together. Because I have to do something.

If you can, donate.

Or spread the word.

Help. Please.

I’ve Seen A Lot Of Posts On My Dash Tonight About Users Who Are Threatening Suicide, With Other Tumblr

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.
