One year ago today…
The Qlobal Translator was unveiled and added to the QSMP! This wonderful development added real-time, live translations of voice chat on the server.
This has been one of the most instrumental and influential tools in bringing together communities and breaking down language barriers. Friendships have been made around the globe, a wide variety of languages has been introduced and supported, and audiences from around the world have been able to discover and enjoy new content creators and characters. The Qlobal Translator was the first development of the server, and began its grand adventure of the first multilingual Minecraft server.
It’s also led to some rather situational humor.

Fit alone with bodies and the rotten smell and the dark and dust. "Stay here for a few weeks and you'll learn"
At home, Ramon is sleeping and holding his sniffer plushie tight. He expects his dad to wake him up soon. He promised he'd be okay
At the other home, Pac stays awake, pacing left and right. "He'll come back. He'll come back. I have to trust him". His mind keeps wandering to the ring at the shop. He thought he had more time
Fit will do anything to keep his family safe, so it means he needs to destroy the Federation. And to do that, he'll need to hurt his family himself before anyone else does without the same love he has
Fed log transcripts: Federation Log 3283: The Federation has been slowly moving employees and equipment here to Vacuus island. The ongoing bird hybrid experimets on Quesadila Island have been promising, so Reasearch & Development has been allowed to expand. Specifically, new ways of producing energy. There is a small population of residents here, so care must be taken to ensure there is order.
Federation Log 3298: The initial energy experiments have shown great results, but the residents have become agitated by the Federation's presence. One was even found breaking into a Federation building. The higher ups have created a solution that also solves a different problem. Research & Development has a surplus of cats from a recent failed experiment. Rather than the usual policy of incinerating them, the residents will be responsible for taking care of these delightful creatures!
Federation Log 3321: The siphoning towers around Vacuus Island have been left in an idle state. Extracting energy from the island has left the atmosphere in a strange state. Even on sunny days, the sky remains completely dark. If this porcess cannot be reversed, the Board of Directors will not be pleased. The towers have also been picking up strange signals. The Federation has been unable to identify their origin. It's possible they could be coming from outside the system.
Federation Log 3445: The Federation has determined Vacuus Island to be a failure. It has not lived up to expectations. The damage is irreversible. The Board of Directors has requested to declare the island inactive. All operations are to be moved. Any notice to the residents is deemed unnecessary.
