About A Year And A Half Ago I Had This Dream Where Scientists Decided To Genetically Modify Dolphins

ID. A drawing of an aquatic humanoid creature. Its head is triangular and flat like a lizard's, its beady black eyes and nostrils are on top of the head. Its mouth looks like its curved into a smile. It has a bony ridge on the top of its head that runs down to its humanlike neck. It has webbed hands and feet, its hands have four fingers and its feet have three. It's coloured a greenish grey colour. There is a doodle of the creature standing next to a human, barely reaching the chest area in height. End of ID.

About a year and a half ago I had this dream where scientists decided to genetically modify dolphins to have arms and legs. They likely hoped to be able to better understand dolphins or teach them sign language. The dolphins looked like this, they were rather small in stature and they just... stood or sat around. They made no noises and only reacted to things without making any effort to do anything themselves. I remember feeling horrified and sad in the dream and the feeling persisted even after waking up.
