I was wondering if the thumb ring you draw in Watson is supposed to represent something or is just a creative design choice. Love your art btw, It's so colorful and cozy and feels nostalgic in some way I can't explain.

Many of you assume that it's a ring that he has in common with Sherlock, like small wedding rings but in reality both John's and Sherlock's are anxiety’s rings!!

For John his ring helps him calm down when he's nervous about his PDST, for Sherlock instead it's more for his stimming that helps him concentrate when he's nervous about something

But since they're very small in the drawings they don't allow me to do too many details, so I'm fine with them also being considered couple rings, after all they are a couple so… 🤭💕

As you might have noticed by my reblogs for the past couple of months I’ve just been absorbed by Sherlock Holmes (particularly the original books and the Granada tv show). I used to be an avid fan back when I was barely 11 years old, but back then with a very limited internet connection and only having access to a video store in a small Spanish town I only had the books to read and a couple of SH movies, mainly “Young Sherlock Holmes” and “The Great Mouse Detective”, to supplement my book-reading marathon. BBC’s “Sherlock” didn’t fully hook me up because I’ve always been more of a fan of the Victorian setting and it’s only now, after 20 years, that I have discovered Granada and the BBC Radio plays and the Soviet show (and rekindled my love for the Guy Ritchie movies). I am head over heels in love with these characters and Holmes made me remember the very first time I questioned my gender expression and orientation. 

It’s a shame the t*mblr purge probably got rid of so much art I could otherwise have devoured, but the little I have seen makes me feel so warm and fuzzy, and even if I’m not very active here (I’m trying to post more art on Twitter or even Instagram) I hope you all like what I have sketched on the side.

NEW CREATURE A ✨GARDRAGON✨ (GARGOYLE AND DRAGON!!!)

how gardagons work :)

they Communicate in grumbles and grunts most gardragons are Nocturnal and prefer high places like treetops or cliffs ,because of their nocturnal instincts they often sleep during the day BUT they can be seen out in daylight(it’s just super uncommon)

(they all have different personalities unique to the individual gar)

they have a unique saliva that acts as a natural bug repellent! they are herbivores. (the sharp teeth are for breaking rock and to dis-interest predators otherwise they have no use!) but the baby’s drink the mothers milk till the age of 12

(THEY ARE MAMMALS NOT REPTILIAN!)

YET they are made of spikes and scales often get mistaken for stone, because of how grey they are.. The ‘eyes’ are not actually eyes but rather a pattern on the head meant to look like so-..in reality they are blind and rely on scent and other senses to navigate.

The bulb on the end of their tail is a stinger! Nothing venomous just paralysis inducing,And also a light high similar to that of a weed high..(but that’s not super common!)

The females have utters like a cows utter which is how they feed their young (CAREFUL! Gradragon milk is extremely toxic to humans when not properly prepared!) You can’t just squeeze it out and drink it. You have to prepare it.. (you freeze the milk in DRY ice the properties in dry ice get rid of anything toxic from the milk..but even if prepared properly it’s SUPER bitter and not the most pleasant texture.)

The males are as shown in the pictures! The only difference is females have utters. Otherwise they are impossible to tell apart.
