As they turned a corner, another familiar voice rang out.

“Here she is! Our shining star herself!”

Philomena stood at the end of the corridor, a giddy grin on her face, next to Harmonia, Troy, and the members of Maze’s prep team. Philomena was unchanged, donning her usual skintight bodysuit and pink pigtails, as was Harmonia.

Philomena rushed forward and engulfed Maze in a hug. “Maze! Oh, I can’t believe it! Victor of the 57th Hunger Games!” It might have been the lighting, but Maze swore she saw tears in Philomena’s made-up eyes. “Congratulations, dear.”

So, upon reading Sunrise on the Reaping, I’d like to congratulate Unto the Labyrinth for officially now being canon-divergent and an AU.

I’m a little pissed that SotR messed up UtL’s story trajectory so bad, especially with Beetee, but whatever.

I’ll release an official statement when I post the next chapter of Unto the Labyrinth

Most hits: The Town of Anywhere, with 3493 hits!!! I’m surprised it has that many, honestly. I always thought of it as kind of a niche thing but ig people read it? (Also, I swear I haven’t abandoned it!!! The next chapter is in the works and I’ll get around to it eventually)

Second most kudos: A Burning Question, with 184 kudos! My Encanto/Disney Hercules crack crossover one-shot that I wrote in one sitting while heavily caffeinated one night.

Third most comments: Ties of Blood and Water, with 57 comments! My offering to the Hetalia fandom that I’m also surprised got as much attention as it did (also my personal favorite to reread……ngl I kinda cooked with this one)

Fourth most bookmarks: Falling, with 27 bookmarks! Another one of my one-shots, this time a ship one with AE-3803/U-1146 from Cells At Work! I’ve noticed that this fic got a resurgence in popularity recently, possibly because of the Cells At Work fandom becoming active again? (Speaking of, I really hope the live action movie comes to the U.S. eventually bc I wanna watch it so bad)

Soon, the plate beneath Maze’s feet began rising, taking her with it. The tunnel plunged Maze into darkness, and she gulped, nausea clenching her stomach.

This was it.

Thirty seconds later — which felt like an eternity to Maze; the launch room must have been deep underground— she emerged into bright light. She blinked a few times, before taking in the sight of the arena before her.
