Casey centered multi chapter angst fic!

It’s been three weeks of this; waking up and expecting himself to be back on a battlefield, ready to move at any moment. It’s absurd to think that now, there’s no battle raging that needs his undivided attention, no more lessons to learn from his sensei. He’s directionless, floating aimlessly through the life he worked so hard to obtain.

Is this really the life he's living after everything Master Leonardo sacrificed? Everything Leo worked for just fell through Casey's hands like meaningless sand. He can feel the guilt crawling up his throat, a life wasted in the wreckage of their victory.

He takes to the streets, clothed in darkness and itching for a fight, and Peter finds it. Again, and again, and again. He’s quiet this time, his voice too hoarse from tears to speak, too enraged to do anything other than scream. So the only sounds that fill the warehouses are the dull pangs of fists and blood splatters. Knuckles hitting flesh, and screams echoing off of stained walls.

One day, when the nights calm, Peter will be disgusted by the monster who stalked the streets, for once his knuckles red from another man’s ichor. Today, he feels righteous.

Update on grief and guillotines!

I’m sure you’ve all noticed my incredibly slow upload time on this latest chapter, it’s been about month or so, but writers block has hit me hard while I’m busy with life stuff!

Nevertheless I am still, albeit very slowly, writing the final chapter! I have no plans or intentions to abandon the fic, so please bear with me!
