as they say, it's always morally correct to pirate Adobe Software. and with each passing month Adobe tries to reinforce their comically evil persona, now saying that artists that don't use AI will be left behind and won't be successful (as if being an artist guaranteed success before AI came and made it much worse..). and I'm done, I'm so tired of hearing the same stupid shit over and over again. listen up, Artificial Idiots — if it weren't for us real artists, your "new and crazy tech" would be NOTHING. It's all built on the work that was stolen from US. and you've got some nerve to now say that we'll be left behind? it's like saying everything that we did, everything that we painted only served one purpose — to feed your awful no-good machine.

Happy Halloween everyone!! Mamizou and Nue couldn't pass up on scaring some humans, so when Sumireko told the residents of Gensokyo about Halloween costume parties they had to rope Byakuren in with them! The costume that they chose seems to be from some sort of a fighting game from the outside world, one where girls fight over an artifact that can grant wishes...?

despite the quality of my digital artworks, I'm.. kinda bad at traditional art, but this year I really wanted to change that, and thought that BFDI characters would be a great pick for pastel ::)

can you say that everything is alright if people enter your life as quick as they leave from it, leaving only a blur of various faces? silhouettes and memories of them combine into a misshapen puzzle – one where no piece fits perfectly.

Is there even a site left to post art? Seriously here i really like posting my artwork and creating a safe community why this app decides to follow down the rabbit hole of A! and ruin everything?

I want to be more hopeful that it won't last and get sued those who illegally use our pieces. :/

i think anything being posted publicly (bar perhaps on very niche places no one else will find u either) is probably getting scraped, which is supported by the kind of weak 'We Will Try To Stop Unauthorized Data Trawlers' lines we get fed - even sites that have explicit anti-AI stances like Pillowfort can't promise that ur images are fully protected

i'd assume paywalled sites like patreon/subscribestar offer a smidge of protection just bc the ai people don't want income to flow anywhere else than their own pockets? as for lawsuits, ye, i hope they tread on the toes of some other shitty corporation with an interest in protecting their intellectual property since they have the $ to throw at this problem

when all the platforms we post to are owned by corporations that are only interested in shortsighted financial gain/dont need to respect their userbase, this type of behaviour is to be expected... as i mentioned previously though, i have hope that the bubble will burst like it did w/ nfts, that people will realize theyre swallowing shit and it turns out not to be as profitable as the profiteers hoped (at which point theyll turn to the next exploitative grift)

hi gang so Uh...i need to make at least $100 by this week to pay off a portion of a gas bill that absolutely destroyed me and my 3 roommates. something about it is really fuggin wrong because it went from us being charged a reasonable amount every month by usage to over 4x the normal amount in only a 10 day period and we're losing our damn minds as we try to figure out what happened. im in an extremely tight spot right now because of time i had to take off work and with my part time gig over due to the winter season i need help balancing food and now *gas* this week. As the whistles of the critters dim, it's a sign that the sun has slowly secured it's position in the wide sky. A dusk that will last longer than it's cycle. Selkouni perched down, shuffling away some rubble and taking a seat to watch the painting of the ever-long rays.

The light stretches lazily, and a breeze blows, as if the valley itself had sighed with relief and exhaustion. Now begins the quiet. A slowing down of time itself. As the inhabitants of the woods and hills prepare for the changes that accompany the resting sun. Measuring time itself - changes.

It no longer speaks in the familiar tongue of cool or warm. The grand elements are taking rest - now, it is for the small, for the crawling, for the growing, to account for their memories and wisdom: Some, count the changing leaves of an orchard. Some, smell the soil. Some, simply know, or remember. Some, sense the ever so slight changes of solar radiation to feel the speed of continuity.

Selkouni simply watches. They enjoy the striking colors appearing on the clouds and the sung melodies of the lively environment around them. When they'll be satisfied with their presence and their thoughts, they'll get up and keep on with their journey.
