Look, hear me out
What if Neil was the one responsible for Lane's, Winter's and Willian's death
The last time someone gave Jean trouble (Grayson), he simply wiped the guy out
It would be weird if, after doing this for Jean, he just accepted that Winter and Willians tried to kill Andrew and moved on with his life. And even though I dont think he would order a hit on Lane for attacking him, she stopped him from getting to Andrew, which is also unforgivable
The three of them were found dead literally on the same day and they were the only ones to die after the match took place.
The ERC announced that the Ravens were disqualified still on friday. If they were to kill themselfs over it, they would have done it on friday or saturday, but they did on monday
You can call me crazy, but I think our beloved Wesninski Junior attacked again, because I dont see him just accepting waht they did to Andrew, and he definitely would not waste time with proper legal action
now what if i said pillow princess kevin day and service top neil josten?
no? anyone??
I hated that he was using it to defend his drinking problem
But at the same time I liked he so boldly admitted to be number 1 and most of all, to always have been
He says that the last person who tried to take it from him died. Which means that he had always been the best (which we know is true), even before Riko broke his hands
Here he clearly states things how they were: Kevin was the best striker and Riko was always trying to take this spot from him (either by using his place of power to bully him into acting like if he was second or by ultimately breaking his hand)
And I liked that he did it so naturally
Some time ago he would have never been able to say or even think something like that
Still pisses me off that he was using this to defend he could drink all he wanted (bc he already was the best and the one who tried to take it away from him died, so he is unchallenged)
If he was sober and not saying it to justify being an alcoholic it would have been a full diva slays moment
I know a lot found Kevinās checkmate line hilarious and very diva but I have to say it wasnāt funny and Kevin depressed me in this bookš„²
Exy exy exy exy exy exy exy and drinking every time he has to talk about the nest & Riko.
"You know, I get it," Neil said. "Being raised as a superstar must be really, really difficult for you. Always a commodity, never a human being, not a single person in your family thinking you're worth a damn off the courtāyeah, sounds rough. Kevin and I talk about your intricate and endless daddy issues all the time." "Neil," Kevin said, low and frantic. Neil ignored him. "I know it's not entirely your fault that you are mentally unbalanced and infected with these delusions of grandeur, and I know you're physically incapable of holding a decent conversation with anyone like every other normal human being can, but I don't think any of us should have to put up with this much of your bullshit. Pity only gets you so many concessions, and you used yours up about six insults ago. So please, please, just shut the fuck up and leave us alone."
"At two seconds, Kevin scored" SCREAMING ON MY PILLOW. Thats. My. Man.
(I've read this game before, still screaming on my pillow)
Im convinced both Kevin and Jean stopped arguing purely because of bi-panic
They looked at Jeremy snapping his fingers and forgot their names, why they were arguing, why they were even there
we moved on WAY too fast from Jean and Kevin arguing and Jeremy just casually snapping his fingers in their faces to break them up because yo that shit was HOTā
I love Jean's POV because that mtf lies so much to himself that at some point, if you dont pay attention, even you start believing him
In the interview part, Kevin gets super mad because the interviewer suggests the Trojans made a mistake signing Jean, this is the first time ever he breaks his "public persona" and it is clearly because he got mad they were attacking Jean
Meanwhile Jean Moreau is out there thinking "Wonder if Kevin slipped like that because they talked badly of the Trojans or because of the alcohol"š¤”
And it is not just with Kevin
EVERY TIME someone does something good to him or defends him, this mtf finds every possible reason for it under the Sun, except admitting this person cares and want him well
Jeremy is worried about him? Must be because Jeremy doesnt want him to be an obstacle to the team
Rhemann asks if he is okay? Must be because he is a terrible a player and is disappointing Rhemann on the Court
His other teammates want to spend time with him on the bus? Cant find the reason, but there nust be something
It is absolutely not his fault, and it in fact breaks my heart everytime
I just wish he could see how amazing he is and how much people actually care and like him
And even though he does this, the moment he sees Neil he cusses him out for being a disgrace to Exy, bc the day Kevin compliments Neil directly to his face is the day he dies
kevin's pro teammates will never live up to neil josten. kevin lets them know this daily.
the thing about neil and jean is that i very much feel like their relationship is mirrored in andrew & aaron's relationship. the 'misplaced forever partner' vs. 'the brother who was given away.'
the way neil was abused but he was KEPT, he had a mother who gave her life to fight for him vs. jean who was sold and forgotten and abandoned, stripped of his own name and his language, who had to survive riko and the master and the complicated dynamics of being perfect court but also property, who had to navigate the nest and all its horrors and hierarchy completely alone.
aaron who was abused, who was beaten and strung along and neglected, but who his mother came back for vs. andrew who was left behind, who never had a last name, who said 'please' so much at seven he can't stand the sound of the word at 21, who was willing to carve pieces from himself for the promise of a scrap of family.
andrew and aaron made a deal and hated each other for it. jean and neil were each others partners - your failure is my failure, your success is my success. andrew, who killed aaron's mother when he found out she was beating him, to hold up his end of the deal. jean, who held neil down to be carved, but who patched him up again after.
aaron, who killed his brother's rapist. and neil who did the same
They are indeed misplaced forever partners
Jean is also feral and Neil also endures, the forever partners forever same hat
Just YES
need Jeremy to narrate more of Jean and Kevinās divorced couple psychological torture mind games
As someones who drinks a little too much, I would love this
A delivery only restaurant named "send help" that specialises in hangover food. Everything comes with some sort of an electrolytes beverage, if not two, a bag to throw up in, and one of the food options is simply "whatever", and you get an order of whatever random food options the kitchen happens to find the most convenient.
The "whatever" can be specialised, like ordering a two-piece vegan whatever gets you two random vegan options, there's "whatever w/ peanut allergy", kosher whatever, and so on.
The halal option comes with a free letter reminding you of the reasons why a muslim shouldn't drink.

Teenagers are rarely taught the reason why they can't consent to sex with adults.
And that's because teaching them that would completely unravel our coercion-based society.
It can be difficult to explain in detail the exact reason and all the specifics in a way that they will understand. But the simplest way to phrase it is that in some cases, even when someone agrees to something and even when they appear enthusiastic about it, there's too much of a power imbalance that it's no different than forcing them. Also, having power and being abusive doesn't require a conscious expectation to be obeyed.
Imagine a world in which every teenager understood that and was easily able to call out anyone who tried to convince them otherwise.
They'd know that there's no such thing as an employee consenting to working for a poverty wage, working in unsafe conditions, working long hours, or working without taking breaks. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to paying a bank overdraft fee. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to student loan debt. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to medical bills. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to generating profit for banks or landlords in order to have a place to live and being evicted or foreclosed when you lose your source of income. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to a police search. They'd know that there's no such thing as a child who's okay with their parents spanking them. They'd know that being dependent on someone does not mean that you can never criticize them. They'd know that if it's considered abusive to simply play along when someone obeys, then it has to be much more abusive to actively expect to be obeyed, which many adults do to them.
And people who benefit from a society based on coercion masquerading as freedom wouldn't like that.
So instead, teenagers are taught something dismissive. They're taught that what they want doesn't matter. They're taught that they're too young to know what love is. They're taught "it's the law". They're taught things that are insulting to their intelligence, which they'll naturally rebel against.
The fuck, this is so good!!
Kandreil fanarts are gonna be death of me

i love that cat took a look at jean (tortured 6ā2 huge strong bisexual frenchman sad grey eyes elite athlete tragic homoerotic situationship victim) and said i will make him even hotter. get on this motorcycle.
Kevin Day, the only character in the world who manages to be a perfect 50/50 split between girlboss and boyfailure
a kevjean edit to irish orpheus? more likely than youād think
first ever edit, pretty fitting that itās kevin day-related tbh
I may legally be an adult but donāt be fooled, I have no idea what the hell im doing
I haven't seen anyone commenting on this, but did yall noticed Kevin and Andrew were sharing the SAME bag for their LA trip???
Like, they brought one single carry-on, with all of their things for the trip on it (probably with their cloths kind of mixed in there too)
Andrew Minyard, who is super protective of his space and things, is out here sharing a bag with Kevin Day
Nora, please, don't make me dream
I will collapse, Im not joking
God, I live off the crumbs that Nora gives and I still beg for more
Neil is an unreliable narrator TO YOU. I believe him.
Jean "knowing this cologne came from another man is making me murderous" Moreau I am OBSESSED with you
This part got me SO MAD
And he made Jeremy answer it, like, c'mmon how terrible of a parent can you be
Yes, the kid fucked up. Yes, using drugs was a shit decision. From that to literal murder there is a huge gap.
Also, it is Jeremy, boy couldn't harm a flower. He is literally so sweet all the time. How can you not know your kid that much????
Jeremy's family make me wanna throw up
honestly i HATE trent knox bc wdym ur questioning if ur son killed somebody when the worst thing heās ever done is do drugs and have an orgy
The way he tried to say he was a Moreau ONCE again (when Cat said "I love you" to him) and then stopped himself and almost choked š
Neil has a talent for saying exactly what will make an impact on someone. He uses that for evil or for good, depending solely on who is the person he is talking to
āI am a moreauā
āso was elodieā
clocked him so hard he didnāt dare mention it again in a whole as new book. he tried, I see you struggling jean dw, but he never got through with it
neil josten the man that you freaking are.
Okay, so:
-kiss girls (Ć)
-make art(Ć)
-disappear into the forest()
Im only missing the last, but to be honest, Im one step away from disappearing into the forest with a backpack, some books and two cats

The way Neil Josten switched into Nathaniel in order to process and handle the abuse and trauma of being found by his father's people and the reality of his looming death will never not fuck me up, he literally said I can't handle this but maybe the Butcher's son could. And then. And then!! The way those two versions of himself coalesce into Neil Abram Josten (legally recognised) after Nathan is dead and the truth is out? The Neil Josten we see in The Sunshine Court has all of the attachments of Neil Josten, the slow unraveling of family and care but all of the hard edges of Nathaniel, unflinching from the reality of the world he lives in and the decisions he has to make to keep his life. Nathaniel would never have stuck around long enough to care about Jean Moreau and call a hit out on his abuser. Neil would never have trusted those resources available to him (or potentially the trail it could leave) in order to deal with the problem in one brutal but efficient move. But Neil Abram Josten reforged could, would and did.
Riko spent his free time obsessing over Kevin
Nora confirmed he watched the first time Kevin had sex(he chose the girl) and the first time he had sex with Thea (absolutely not weird at all)
The other way he spent his free time was torturing Jean and also obsessing with him, to the point he noticed Jean liked man just bc of the way he looked at Kevin (I mean, why are you looking so much at the both of them???)
When Neil was in Evermore, part of the torture included cuffing him shirtless to Kevin's old bed (dude, wtf????)
Riko got mad with the idea of having a queer on his Perfect Court, but somebody should have told this kid the call was coming from inside the house all along
āI will not have queers on my courtā
The court in question:
Andrew - gay
Neil - has a gay boyfriend
Jean - bisexual disaster
Jeremy - very gay
Kevin - suppressed sexuality to the point of dissociation
Riko - insane internalized homophobia
One day, while Kevin and Neil are having a heated argument in French on the court one of the freshmen yells:
"Speak English!"
Annoyed by the intrusion, Kevin and Neil share a look and silently decide on malicious compliance.
Neil, though born in America, was raised by his British mother and would use a British accent whenever they spoke English in Europe to blend in.
Kevin is Irish. Born in Ireland, raised by his Irish mother until her untimely death.
They both switch to their 'mother tongues', speaking English but in thick British and Irish accents.
The team can barely understand them. Reprimands and insults are met with confusion. The freshmen are frantic, trying to figure out how to correct their technique when they can only understand every few words. The upperclassmen can't stop laughing, Matt and Allison are trying to repeat some of the words in mock British and Irish accents.
Andrew is in silent turmoil as he discovers a new turn on with an hour of practice still to go.
I was reading the extras and was graced with a chapter, from Renee's POV, on Jean's rescue from the Ravens
And can we just stop to admire how, when she wants, Renee can serve cunt very well??
That peace sign for Riko while leaving in a masseratti with Jean at her side was pure GOLD
Also, fucking telling Zane that Riko can take it up with her if he "has something to say about it" was THE boss move.
Adding the "Im sure he knows where to find me" was the cherry on top of the cake
And that was the day the Ravens fully confirmed that the Foxes dont tolerate Neil's attitude problem, they all have an attitude problem
Anyways, we all stan Renee Walker
something about jean having to live under the ground in the nest for so long but the people he loves are from the sky
renee is a rainbow. kevin is a star. jeremy is the sun.
