if aizawa erased nedzu’s quirk...?

it’s an mutant quirk as far as i’m aware, but aizawa is apparently able to at least ‘partially’ erase mutant quirks (eg. paralyse a mutated extra limb or something)

if he could erase high specs: would nedzu retain his knowledge and just be unable to communicate it? mouse brains aren’t built for that much intelligence - so what if he isn’t able to hold it all without his quirk being active? 

so let’s say one time, aizawa uses his quirk on nedzu by accident for like 5 seconds. nedzu lost a lot of his memory - not about practical things like his job or his history, just obscure facts he used to know, calculations that he used to have in the back of his head. so ever since nedzu has referred to ‘that one time aizawa used his quirk on him’ with the same attitude as scholars talk about the burning of the library of alexandria - if he still had that lost knowledge, he could’ve gotten humans to mars by now! aizawa just rolls his eyes every time it comes up.

I suddenly woke up at 1am disoriented, wrote this phrase on my phone and went back to sleep. I don't remember why or what it was supposed to mean

Covid is not over and black lives still matter. Stop trying to "go back to normal" when shit is still happening.

I know it's tiring but it's not over for either thing even though people are pretending it is. I know the overlap is exhausting. But be safe, social distance, and keep fighting the good fight.

Story Time

I just came out to my mom. We started talking about the protesting and she said something along the lines of “yeah I’m a little racist”.  Obviously this surprised me so I asked what she meant and she said she’d never let me date anyone from a different race. We argued about it for a while and I asked “Alright what would you do if I brought a girlfriend home”. She just shrugged so I got up from the table and yelled “Well I’m getting one and she’ll be wonderful whatever race she is and you can’t stop me!”

Just realized I never posted this onto my tumblr! I’ve been watching a lot of the 1960s Addams Family, and god they’re pure 🥺 and I’ve wanted to draw the Dark Sides as some scenes from the Addams Family for so long, and I really liked this scene :D

Me, clapping my hands: SUPPORT COURSE IZUKU! SUPPORT COURSE IZUKU!! …WITH A PROSTHETIC!!

I’m sure people have had this idea before but I wanted to put my own spin on it!! And now for the info:

-Izuku’s been fascinated with heroes since a young age. However, after finding out he was quirkless, he refused to give up, and switched gears to start investing in the support field. He figured if he couldn’t be a pro hero he could at least do his best to help them and be a hero in his own way.

-Izuku’s an absolute GENIUS when it comes to inventing–he’s on par with Hatsume. However, Hatsume focuses more on support items that break convention and are very innovative and unique. Izuku’s focus is more on items that actually help heroes on the field and support their bodies, and items that also allow them to use their quirks to their full extent while still being able to control them properly. (Basically, Izuku’s gadgets act as a control stick for heroes that go all out i.e. Toshi.) He also makes a lot of gadgets that support disabled heroes, because–

-Izuku has a prosthetic arm! It’s his right one. This was the result of a villain attack that he got involved in after meeting All Might. Toshi blames himself for what happened to Izuku because he couldn’t get there in time. He and Izuku are very close–Izuku knows the secret behind Toshi’s appearance and he knows about One For All. Mirio is the one to inherit OFA in this AU–so Izuku’s very close to him as well! Izuku makes support items for both Toshi and Mirio, to support their quirks. Izuku’s gadgets have saved Toshi in a pinch a hundred times over, and are designed to support him when he needs that extra push when he’s already reached his limit.
