Hooray, another finished piece, and this time something all for myself! :D This is my boy Ikkii, he's my first fursuit! Well, kinda. He's just a head, saw him for sale real cheap on eBay and just fell in love with him so made the plunge since I've always wanted a suit. Then I asked my buddy Fantia to design the rest of him, and I just adore him even more now!

He needed a pfp and I needed to paint something so here he is in his fluffy glory. ^^ If you wanna see his suit head it's on his TH!

My buddy @mintytrash and I gave Bill a slight design change for the second half of @love-triangles-au involving a boa, and she came up with the absolutely genius idea of it taking on this solar eclipse kinda look when he's mad. I absolutely needed to draw it too it was so frikin cool!!

Worked on this in tandem with the other piece so here's a rare spike in activity for you; don't worry, it won't happen again! 😭

Hey there, I'm back with a new generator for you guys!

As I'm sure you know, finding inspiration can be tricky sometimes, even if you, theoretically, have a ton! I was having this issue and it seemed like I just could not choose when it came to my massive list of moodboards when I felt like designing, so I did what I always do and just removed the aspect of choice entirely. Who needs free will anyway?

Unlike other generators, this one chooses from premade moodboards created by human beings instead of randomly selecting each image. Results were taken from impressive collections on Pinterest and Sta.sh, and at its launch contains around 800 different moodboards! That's like, one adopt every day for two and a half years! I'm probably gonna forget to update this description as well so if you're seeing this in the future then expect even more aestheticy goodness.

CALLING ALL PEOPLE WITH EYES!

I need as many opinions as I can get on something. I'm entering a big contest for a creature survival game I play a lot to make a thumbnail to be used on its main page. This is an image meant to represent the game and is one of the first things new players see. I've spent the whole day on these concept thumbs and would love to hear which you think I should go with as well as any other opinions. Tysm!!

My part for the Stan twins "Trouble" lyrics comic collab! It felt so nice to be doing stuff again, and a full piece at that. I'm so so honored to be a part of this project with so many insanely talented artists that I looked up to.

So sorry it took so long for me to answer you, this is one of the nicest messages I've ever gotten and I wanted to make sure I replied in a way that showcases that! You've made my entire month, seriously I keep coming back to this and it always makes me smile, something especially appreciated right now! (I've lived on the island for over a decade but am currently in the process of moving, which totally sucks. Just heading across the pond to Vancouver though, still very close!)

K&Z was super important to me growing up and when I learned so few people knew about it I wanted to change that! Not at all, anon! I really like this question actually, and the reason it took me so long to answer is cause I really had to think about it, but I think I've got a good one for ya now.

Some complementary snuggles for ya, possibly a continuation of the last piece? Up to you! Answer's under the cut since it ended up being pretty long.

So, Bill is a pretty inherently childish character. He just wants to break rules and do whatever the hell he wants with no regard for anyone else because he can. Venuz lives with a pretty normal kid (Yung Cuz), and I like to imagine that he raised him himself, so Venuz knows how kids act. I think that Bill dropping his mask and revealing that, essentially, when things went to shit he stuck his fingers in his ears and went "la-la-la" instead of dealing with it like an adult showcased that immaturity of his, and Venuz recognized it.

Now, Venuz's feelings in regards to this depend on your headcanons of his character. Personally I bounce around two different ones: the Nuclear Throne interpretation and the Gun Godz interpretation.*

In NT he's just what we would think of when we think of a god; he's immortal, he's all-powerful, he's always been around and has always been a god. In this case, he can afford to be a careless and trusting guy because he can solve any problem with a thought. This Venuz immediately takes what Bill says at face value and lemme tell ya if he wasn't in love with the guy before this tragic side of him sure did it. Venuz likes when his gold chains are squeaky-clean, not his lovers; I think he adores that Bill's a terrifying disaster. (Not that he doesn't want to help of course; I'm sure the morning after was breakfast in bed and excessive cuddles and kisses)

In GG, Venuz is still a god, but he wasn't always. (I think I unconsciously took a lot of this from this awesome fic so credit where it's due lol) The planet runs on a system where Gun God is a title taken by force, i.e., to become the Gun God you need to kill the Gun God. He has been through the grinder and though he's mellowed out quite a bit after becoming Gun God he has issues really and truly trusting people. This Venuz is more cautious and keeps Bill's history of being a master manipulator in mind, knowing that there is no reason at all that Bill couldn't be putting on an act. That being said, Bill is pretty much harmless as long as Venuz doesn't consciously decide to return his powers to him, so he still tries to comfort him just in case.

Both are pretty great I think, one is lower-stakes and fun while the other has room for more angst and character growth. There is a hole in the GG logic though which is that if Bill got his hands on a gun he could just kill Venuz and become the Gun God, so uh...oops? Idk, this ship is still mostly crack and good fun tbh.

*TL;DR: NT Venuz sees this pathetic man and goes "shit. i love him even more now"; GG Venuz sees this pathetic man and goes "ok but if he's actually telling the truth then he needs me so"

Another personal and cathartic piece for me. Started the concept of this one a few months ago and just decided to finish it up. This little guy's name is Dragonflight, he's my Warriors OC from 2012. I miss those days

Feeling weird about my process rn and figured it'd be good for me. Mainly trying to work on color, light as it plays on fur, shape language and behind-the-scenes stuff like layer blend modes and orders. I feel I learned a lot about light here, actually! Subsurface scattering is way more prevalent than I thought. That, and leaves are very reflective.

I play an unhealthy amount of Creatures of Sonaria. In terms of survival games it has some questionable mechanics (I tell people it's a good game super close to being a great game) [EDIT: ok news that they're just entirely remaking the whole game and fixing everything came out literally the day after I posted this cool] but I always find myself coming back to it for the absolutely kick-ass creature designs!

Magnarothus is my favorite creature and this bab was my first sought-after glimmer (game's equivalent to a shiny Pkmn pretty much) so I wanted to make her an OC! She is the love of my life fr 🥺🥺 You can see her in-game design and concept art over on her Toyhouse profile!
