LOVE
You don’t “make love” /to/ someone, you “make love” /with/ someone… When you say ‘to’ it sounds like your trying to force feed them intimacy, but no matter how much love you shove down a persons throat, eventually they’ll get sick… And they’ll purge you from their life. You make love /with/ someone… You wrap their body in empathy and pray they take meaning in such empty words as “I love you” because no word in the human language can carry such a deeply rooted emotion. When I say I love you, I mean I trust you, I need you, I think about you constantly, your touch never leaves my skin, your laugh never leaves my ears, your voice is like another conscience in my mind and I always imagine what you would say. So if you’re doing it right, you’re “making love” /with/ someone… And there is nothing else in this world quite like that.

I would much rather make love with someone, opposed to ‘fucking’ someone. Making love is intimate, and gorgeous. Two souls come together to no longer be two separate bodies, they shift into one whole. You feel the breath of your lover on your neck and it mesmerizes you, alongside the sound of their voice enticing your goosebumps. Hands gripping onto your love-damp covered skin, the eyes of your other half are glued to your own. There’s passion, there’s pleasure, there’s happiness and even laughter at times. But it’s making love, it’s not 'fucking’. And it’s gorgeous.

Wanted to post these after seeing a bit of @cr-familiar-faces stream that’s going on right now. These are from the Sly Cooper wiki in case you were wondering.
thought i’d get a headstart on prints for metrocon next year, haha. here’s a tribute to sly cooper, in the style of an oldschool comic book cover. i took reference from a specific batman & robin cover - you probably know the one! sly’s colors are even referenced from oldschool batman. fullview for best effect!

Okay, so I’m not taking requests on these sketches, but after drawing Sly yesterday I just had to sketch up a Camelita to match. This is more-or-less her Sly 1-3 outfit with a dash of 4 here and there.
“So, back in ancient times, when Vigil was just forming, and Darksiders was but a twinkle in our eye, we created a pitch for Sony to do a Sly Cooper game for PSP. Unfortunately, all I could find were these low res files, and there are a bunch missing which I will try to track down. Pretty different style for me, and incredibly fun. These were all done circa 2005. And obviously, all rights and characters belong to Sony, so don’t do anything crazy with these to get me in trouble.”
