i said 'explain physics to me like youre in love with me' and after a while of quiet he went 'everything sings'. so i get it now
It's very easy to forget. And there's nothing wrong with forgetting stuff. The whole point is about understanding things. Coz even if you forget something, as long as you get to build it up from first principles, you're fine!
THAT IS the beauty of science. And of understanding science.

Tumblr staff: ten options is enough for polls, right? No one needs more than that on a regular basis. The average tumblr user: Hey guys which element of the periodic table do you think is the most fuckable?
This is the most beautiful thing i’ve read this year so far!
“In college I had a physics professor who wrote the date and time in red marker on a sheet of white paper and then lit the paper on fire and placed it on a metallic mesh basket on the lab table where it burned to ashes. He asked us whether or not the information on the paper was destroyed and not recoverable, and of course we were wrong, because physics tells us that information is never lost, not even in a black hole, and that what is seemingly destroyed is, in fact, retrievable. In that burning paper the markings of ink on the page are preserved in the way the flame flickers and the smoke curls. Wildly distorted to the point of chaos, the information is nonetheless not dead. Nothing, really, dies. Nothing dies. Nothing dies.”

If I had the slightest discipline in me I’d be unstoppable
honestly though, Carlos Ruiz Zafón is one of the best authors I have ever read I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of his books
