Sad News, David Graham has died, voiced Parker, Brains and Gordon Tracy in Thunderbirds and voiced Parker again in Thunderbirds are Go.

Sadly that's everyone from the original Thunderbirds show has gone now.

so I was talking to nibenhu about John loving Star Trek and we decided (x) the massive nerd would totally have a uniform tucked away somewhere and oops my hand slipped…

I had a whole explanation written up about this and then it all got lost when I moved my hard drives into a new computer setup. ;a; Basically this came about from a lot of Star Trek and many chats with @lenle-g about the Thunderbirds Star Trek AU she was involved in ages ago. And, of course, how EOS would fit in.

In short, it boils down to her being an orphaned Betazoid child who stows away on the Thunderbird after they show up to investigate what happened to the ship she was on. After she’s found (and tries to stab J'onn out of fear), she ends up being taken in by J'onn as the only crewman who could help in part with her uncontrolled telepathic abilities. And, while she was only supposed to be on the ship temporarily… she bonds well enough with her half-vulcan caretaker that he ends up adopting her instead.

Thiiiiis… didn’t get done as early as I wanted it to, but it’s still technically Thursday (and therefore Thanksgiving) in some parts of the US, so I won’t fuss. But I wanted to do some nice vignettes of the family having Thanksgiving together. Especially after the things that have happened in Season 2, I think they all need some family time to recuperate! I was planning on adding Kayo and Brains in the Scott picture but i just ran out of time and energy after today. But I hopefully can do a little follow up picture with them so they’re not left out <333

So here you go, Thanksgiving with the Tracys! Featuring Virgil, Grandma and MAX making the meal (with some possible off-screen help from EOS), setting the table with Gordon and Alan (sword fights with the butter knives are an extra service), EOS making sure to hold all the heavy, breakable dishes for stil-slightly-space-sick John to serve himself with (headcanon that he came down with just enough time to not be a bed-ridden blob in his room, but he’s still not very used to Earth), and of course, Scott leading the family in a toast.

It’s taken me a while to get this colored and boy it seems like almost a lifetime since I drew it back in September, but I really just felt like coloring today. I haven’t done enough with EOS’s mission uniform anyway. XD

But yeah, have some John and EOS feels to start the day with! (or end the day in my case, whoops.) Because these two are and always will be my absolute favorites (both with series-canon, pure-code EOS and my own AU synthetic humanoid codebrat EOS) and I look forward to hopefully seeing more of them this season!

I drew this today to help me get over my artist’s block that showed up after spending literally two days working on my Eos picture a few days back. So, have another Eos, just for fun. I had an idea that when she’s thinking (specifically if she’s sitting down) she kind of kicks her legs back and forth like a little kid. (Something that she added into her mobile platform herself, just to help her blend in better. And because it’s fun having legs and feet to kick.)

I know, I know, this is Virgil week and what am I doing putting up John art, but I’ve been working on this for a full week (or as much as the humidity allows) because I watched a local production of Beauty and the Beast and the song spoke to me. So I had to draw from it. I may see about coloring it (or having someone else color it, *wink wink*). But either way it was just so much fun getting to draw John and EOS in their uniforms again. <33

At the beginning of the month,John/@starman-john-tracy came down to earth for a while, handing control of Thunderbird Five to Alan/@thespacenoodle. This all went horribly awry as Alan ended up catching influenza from overexertion (and far more trips home than John ever took), leading John, Scott and EOS to mount a rescue mission for him. (And subsequently quarantine the Island.)

When John came back, I doodled up a picture of EOS giving him a hug on his return, so it only feels natural to have her saying goodbye as well. In the thread, they’ll probably still be wearing helmets (since the disease is probably still floating around the interior) but this was a much clearer picture. Call it artistic license. The background is kind of meh, but in my defense, TB5 is hard to draw.

I needed something to draw today so I ended up sketching this based off the RP thread I’ve been running with thespacenoodle​. (Which, for those of you who haven’t been following it, centers around EOS’s optical circuits malfunctioning, forcing her to rely on Alan for help.)

EOS isn’t exactly happy about having to rely on someone else for help but she’ll manage. And I think, once you get past all the “I’m not the baby of the family anymore” bit with Alan, he’d actually kinda like feeling like a “big brother.” (And I’m super happy with the way he came out. He’s a real cutie.)

“Boom. Butterfly effect.”

One of the things that got brought up this past week over at the Thunderbirds are Go chatroom was EOS and videogames. I personally see her as enjoying many different types of games, with a special emphasis on simulation games (in an effort to understand humans better), but if she’s forced to play it like a human without messing around with the code, she tends to be somewhat…bad at them. And since I’ve recently been watching LPs of Until Dawn, which is basically an interactive horror movie and not a simulation game but the core mechanics of the game mean that you can finish the game with the entire cast dead (I don’t think that’s really a spoiler), I ended up with this.

I think EOS is probably on her third or fourth accidental death. That’s what happens when Alan refuses to let her use her wi-fi when preparing to play the game (and when EOS is woefully ignorant of horror movie tropes.) However, her mobile platform is spectacular when it gets to the “don’t move” sections.

I know I am exceptionally late for this; it was supposed to be for @virgiltracyweek, but all my motivation died and I ended up finishing it late. And it’s only one part of what I was planning on doing. I’ll hopefully still be able to do the rest of it; it’s vaguely based off some RP things that happened this summer with @sonatanotwo, @flyboytracy, @starman-john-tracy, and @gordoncoopertracy. But, anyway, here’s a Virgil! Being exceptionally confused at the start of a long, confusing, plaid-shirt wearing day.

EOS stares at the soft, fluffy white material covering the ground at her feet. She must be making a face without realizing it, because almost immediately she hears John laugh.

“It’s snow, EOS! You know, frozen–”

“I am very well aware of what it is!” EOS snaps, mildly hurt that John didn’t think she knew what something as simple as snow was. “Snow is precipitation that has frozen into crystalline ice flakes and collected upon the Earth.” She’s still staring at it, however. Of course she knows academically what snow is, but she’s spent most of her existence on Thunderbird Five, or on a tropical island that never truly sees winter.

She’s never been this close to it before.

Cautiously, EOS takes a few steps forward, listening to the scrunchy noise the flakes make when ground together when stepped on. It’s strange, almost like hearing someone squeezing styrofoam, although not as squeaky. Her eyes are still fixed on the ground when something cold and slightly damp impacts the back of her head and breaks apart, spreading chunks of wet coldness through her hair. In shock, she turns back and is surprised to see a sheepish expression on John’s face, along with quite a lot of snow clinging to his knitted gloves.

“What–?” she says, that one word filled with so much meaning that it doesn’t truly need more added to it.

John’s face is very pink all of a sudden under the brighter red at his nose, ears and the tops of his cheek from the cold. Still, he’s smiling even with the apologetic bend to his eyebrows. “It was just a snowball– I’m sorry, I forgot– It’s just… the timing was perfect–” EOS still looks confused, not quite understanding the humor he’s taking from it. His eyes soften at how utterly lost she looks, and he walks over and gently brushes the snow from her hair.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you. Here, let me show you.” He places his hand on her back, and she stoops down as he does, watching, then imitating how he scoops up a handful of snow. “You pack it together like this,” John says, demonstrating the motion, then dropping his own handful to guide her hands through it. When her first snowball emerges at last, lumpy and slightly misshapen though a good first effort, he stands up and gestures at himself. “You get a free hit. It’s only fair.”

EOS shakes her head vigorously. “I can’t throw something at you! I could throw too hard or I could hit you in an unprotected spot or…”

John raises his hands in surrender. “Fine, throw it at the ground then. But snowballs are meant to be thrown, EOS. It’s a game.”

Her eyes flit to him, then the ground, and then back again and he can practically see her processors working. After a few more glances, and even some off to the side in mild distress, she pulls her arm back and throws the snowball as gently as she can at him. It doesn’t even sting as it hits his coat and breaks apart, strewing bits of snow all over his chest.

“Was that so hard?” he asks, a kind smile on his face and in his voice. EOS shakes her head, a smile crossing her own face as she stoops down again, hands reaching for the snow below her.

When John finally tells her they have to go back inside before they’re missed, a good fifteen minutes later, both are lying on the ground, half-covered with snow and grins on their faces.

“When I look at John, I recall how he risked his own life to preserve me. I would risk non-functionality for him.”

I managed to pull actually sketch something last night, or at least finish an idea I’ve had kicking around for a bit. If I ever get the idea to write more about the “Let’s steal Thunderbird Three” story, I may end up using this quote that I’ve shamelessly stolen from Mass Effect and tweaked to fit my own purposes. I feel like it really does work for EOS though.

Okay, these may take a bit of explanation. @flyboytracy got an anonymous ask the other day that made Scott shrink down to about doll-sized ( we still haven’t decided on an actual size because it’s just stupid crack XD) and I was inspired to draw it. So have a teacup Tracy and pocket Tracy :3

(Doll furniture not included, pocket-sized Tracys may require more sleep than normal-sized Tracys, may also be significantly easier to lose.)

Hello John! Sorry I haven’t written in a bit, but it’s been really boring around here lately.

Brains made me come in for maintenance today (third of the month, and all that). He said I did a very good job and even gave me a unicorn sticker! Although I may have dropped some hints that I want stars on my ceiling like you since he seems to be getting the hint that I’m not extremely fond of stickers.

Oh, and I broke my arm falling out of bed again! Well, I cracked my elbow joint, please don’t worry. It was a really easy repair, just a little glue. And I managed to do my coordination test without falling! Brains was really impressed, too.

I cleaned your room, too. It was getting awfully dusty in there. In fact, that’s where I am now. The shadows in here seem awfully gloomy lately. I may spend my recharging cycle in here tonight, I think it needs someone staying in here for a while.

Don’t forget to eat again! Or I’ll deploy the space elevator and come up there myself!

I’ve had this idea kicking around for a while that EOS sends John letters about her day (instead of messaging him normally since that way he can read them at his own pace). Sort of like Twilight Sparkle’s letters to Princess Celestia. So I wrote up a little letter based off the Routine Physical rp thread.

The numbers at the end are her name in Binary.

I realized I needed to sit down and make an official character reference for EOS. Well, facially at least. Partly for my own reference, partly for anyone else who might be interested in drawing her. So, a bunch of different expressions and some notes (in my very tiny scribbly handwriting).

The little pout at the bottom was based off Alan, btw. She’s picking up bad habits from him. And the “Lost Connection to Server” (Middle left) is part of a little story idea I was working with. (And based off one of my favorite EDI moments from Mass Effect 3).

Well, the ship in question is her and Virgil.

Even though, despite being in the same episode they don't interact at all.

But, my twelve year old brain thought it was an excellent idea so now you may pry Kate x Virgil from my cold dead hands.
