Researchers tested this theory by having one person walk into a prairie dog colony wearing different colored T-shirts at different times. “The prairie dogs will have alarm calls that contain the same description of the person’s size and shape but will vary in their description of the color. Took me until about halfway through college before I realized “study” means “play with the material in a variety of ways until you understand it” and not just “read the assigned chapters and do the homework” and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.
