Moon Harvest Fesitival (Rewritten) Chapter I: Ex's And Ohs

((A/N: People were down with me sharing my more serious fics here on Tumblr so here we go! Most people already know I didn't care for Ep 5,  a while ago I suggested an idea of instead of the episode mainly instead of Moxxie being abused for no reason, we could get Millie getting jealous and protective over Moxxie cause Striker was getting very flirty with him. Someone also suggested the idea of Striker being Moxxie's ex so thus the main idea for this fic. Pretty much everything is the same up until Striker arrives, though Millie's parents are more accepting of Mox this time around.))

"Speaking of!" Joe exclaimed after hearing Blitz's brief torment of Moxxie, "You should meet our new farm hand! STRIKER!"

Moxxie froze at the mention of the name, wait- it couldn't possible be- No lots of Imps were named Striker, right?

His thoughts gave little comfort as he heard the familiar cry of his horse, turning to full attention he saw the Imp on Bombproof, hopping over a nearby fence as he strolled up to one. Always one dramatics, of course, Moxxie would be more annoyed if it didn't work but of course it did. With his badass stead and stupid handsome good looks, add on the little hat tilt as he arrived, it all looked hella impressive. The bastard looking as attractive as when they first met and he couldn't hide that forsaken blush on his face.

"Strikey?" immediately he cleared his throat, hating he let that old nickname slip loose, "I mean- Striker! Uh...what a surprise." his face was practically glowing at this point, all the attention, now on him.

"Hey, little dude~" Striker said, hopping off his horse and walking over, twirling the piece of hay in his mouth, "Long time no see huh?"

Millie frowned, both hating the sensual tone in his voice and the fact she had no fucking idea who this weird-ass imp was. She knew a lot about her husband, but this man looked completely unfamiliar.

Blitz butted in for her though, "Whoa! Whoa! Moxxie you know this guy!?" he exclaimed in disbelief, "And you never introduced us?? Moxxie! He has a horse!"

Moxxie rolled his eyes, "Sir, please- we knew each other way back forever ago. It was nothing special."

"Nothing special?" Striker huffed, walking closer, and ruffling his hair, "Ah Mox, ya gonna break my heart like that?"

His entire body tensed, stupid fucking Striker and messing up his hair, of all of his habit to fucking keep-

There wasn't much time for him to respond Millie walked and slapped his hand away, glaring up at him. Almost outright growling at the newcomer.

Striker didn't seem fazed by it, however, "Oh you must be this Mildred I heard so much about, how cha ya so far away from Imp city? Free workin' finally slowin' down?"

"Freelance isn't free work!" Millie fumed, "And me and MY husband!" she wrapped her arm around Moxxie for emphasis, "Came to see the festival with our boss!"

Striker raised an eyebrow, for a second Moxxie thought maybe he was actually upset by this news, "Husband huh? Really? You accepted her proposal?"

"Hey!" he exclaimed frowning, "For the record, I proposed!"

"Suuuuure," Striker chuckled.

Millie looked over at Moxxie, more concerned and confused than ever, "Seriously, Mox. Who is this guy?"

He sighed, "No one, just some guy I saw way back when."

"Are you that desperate to hide that fact we dated?" Striker asked with an amused grin.

"What!?" Both Millie and Blitzo exclaimed, in shock thought surprised for different reasons.

"How the fuck did you nail this piece of ass!?" Blitzo exclaimed, genuinely surprised.

"And here I thought only Millie found your pathetic-ness attractive," Loona added on with a bored expression.

"You didn't tell me about him!" Millie exclaimed, frowning at her husband.

"Uh, yeah." Joe spoke up, just as surprised by this new information, "You never mentioned having a fling with my son-in-law."

"Well, you never mentioned your son-in-law, to begin with." Striker retorted, "If you talked about him more maybe you could've found out sooner.

Millie's dad wanted to retort but unfornately Striker made a point. He instead didn't say anything giving a court nod. It made Moxxie feel odd, was Striker standing up for him in an odd way, it was a sentiment he wasn't sure how to feel about. Why would his ex of all people be defending him against his wife's family?

However, thankfully Striker took notice of Blitzo, changing the topic, "Oh, wait a minute, she called you boss, didn't she? You're the bold imp to start his own killing biz?

Blitzo shrugged, "Yeah, well if you’re good at somethin', you should probably capitalize."

"Not many Imps start businesses on their own." he remarked casually, "That’s pretty impressive, sir."

Blitzo's blush was painfully obvious, "Oh...! Yeah? It is-- I- I- I guess- I guess it is, isn't it?"

Moxxie couldn't help but roll his eyes and share a knowing look with his wife. At least Striker wasn't bothering him anymore.

"You even conned that ditzy blueblood into gettin' you to the surface?" Striker continued.

He chuckled awkwardly, "Well, it’s long and complicated, but the short answer is yes. But he’s not like, you know-- W- We’re y- We're not, like... We’re not doing it... We w- What's betw- It’s a transactional fucking, you see."

Striker's eyes flickered over to Moxxie at the mention of "fucking", his grin getting very smug and Moxxie avoiding eye contact.

"Y'know..." Joe spoke up, "You boys should enter the Pain Games!"

Blitzo immediately ran over, "I heard games! What games? I’m in!

Lin chuckled, "Every harvest festival, there’s a competition to be the roughest, toughest bastard in Wrath!"

Millie crossed her arms and pouted. "Yeah! Wish I could play!

Her mother sighed, walking over to her, "Millie, you know you get too carried away. The last competition ended in fifteen separate funerals."

"I’m aware, but I only caused nine of them!" she exclaimed frustratedly, "How come Sallie May still gets to compete?"

"Your sister doesn’t have a neighborhood headcount-"

"She so does!"

"It doesn't count if they don't find the bodyyyyyy!" her sister called out as she passed them, dragging a bag in hand, leaving Millie seething at her.

Lin placed a hand on her shoulder, "Still, you get to root for her and your brothers, and now you can cheer on your boss!

Moxxie was about to speak up, but he felt an elbow prop upon his head, "And Moxxie gets a chance to cheer for me,"

Millie scowled, immediately grabbing Moxxie's arm and pulling him away from the farmworker. "He won't be cheering for you any! I'll make sure of that!"

"You sure? He always liked to watch me whenever I got all hot and messy." Striker chuckled giving Moxxie a playful wink, a deep blush forming on the smaller imps face. Only adding to Millie's fury.

Knowing this wouldn't end well Moxxie quickly spoke up, stepping in between the two "Y'know! Millie- you could cheer for me!"

Joe's loud laughter interrupted any of them before they could speak, making Moxxie's forced grin drop, having him huffed a bit, "C'mon I can compete, can’t I?"

Striker put his hand on Moxxie's shoulder, making him turn towards him, "We all know you aren't the physical type, and the game ain't really about brains I'm afraid."

Moxxie pushed his hand away before Millie could get involved, "Did you forget I was born here, too? I have some fight in me!"

Striker chuckled, "Well then, little fella... Why don'tcha help me wrangle one o' them hogs for dinner?"

Moxxie grinned, pulling out a gun, "Ha! Simple. Watch me!"

Striker simply shook his head and handed Moxxie a dagger and rope. "Nah... with these. Bullets can’t pierce the shell. You gotta get the knife underneath and pry yourself an openin'."

"Oh!" Moxxie gulped, "Right, right. I knew that." he said walking toward the pigpen.

"He's cute when he's nervous ain't her?" Striker asked to Millie, enjoying getting a rise out of her.

Though to his disappointment, she didn't seem bothered by this remark, "Heh. He is isn't he?" she asked an amused chuckle, before turning to Striker more seriously, "Look..I get you and my husband use to have a thing going on, but he is with me now and I love him greatly. If you could just back a little please? That be great, I want to get along with you." she offered him a small smile.

Striker raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing before while he looked down at her, "Can't say I can return the sentiment,"

"KICK ITS ASS, MOXXIE!" Blitzo called out, interrupting both of their thought turning their attention to Moxxie about to stab the pig, "YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!!"

Striker gave her one last smug grin before hopping over the fence, walking up behind Moxxie. "I can already tell you're doing it wrong." he said leaning down and wrapping his arms around the imp, placing his hands over the imps smaller ones changing the way he held the knife and where it was positioned, "Here like this."

"Oh- um, thanks," he said his face flushing at the close proximity, thinking Striker would back off instead, still keeping his grip around Moxxie, made him stab the knife down and cut the pig open. Earning a hard yelp from Moxxie, not from the murder of the hellish pig, but as Striker made him push the knife down he felt a hard thrust against his ass, Striker grinding against him hard escalating his already flushed face as he attempted to squirm away.

"Oh damn," Blitz remarked even he caught wind of what happened and he was about to make a snarky comment to Mille until he noticed how furious the imp was.

She was gripping onto the nearby fence, outright sinking her claws into the woods, snarling, and her eyes looking bloodshot as she looked at the Imp.

"Oh...uh, yikes." Blitz chuckled, taking a few steps back from her, knowing when to not be involved. Millie took down a sea monster while mostly calm, he didn't want to push his luck when she was this furious.

Finally, Striker released, Moxxie and picked up the disregarded pig corpse as he hopped out of the pin, narrowly avoiding the Imp as she charged towards him. "You pointy-nosed bastard!!" she yelled out, "Touch my fucking husband again and I'll gut you like a pig!!"

"Millie, Millie-" Moxxie called out frantically wrapping an arm around her, "Calm down, please."

"It's truly a wonder ya 'yer so upset about this, maybe it's because you know he liked it." he chuckled shooting a wink at Moxxie, before walking off, "See ya at the games, Mox."

Millie growled and was about to charge at him before Moxxie stopped her, "Honey, please, if you try and fight him he'll take that as a sign of encouragement. He'll stop if we just ignore him."

"No, he won't," Sallie remarked, walking over to the two, leaning against the fence.

Moxxie raised an eyebrow, "What makes you so sure?"

"Oh, I've dealt with exs like yours hun, and trust me they get a kick outta actin' like an ass. If you want him to stop you're gonna need to put 'em in his place," she informed casually.

"Oh." Millie said cracking her knuckles, "I will-"

"Slow down there sis." She informed, raising a hand, "Regardless of what he does to yer little husband, mom and pop like him too much to tolerate you fightin' him. So unless you can get him to strike first yer outta luck I'm afraid." she explained, a grin forming on her face while Millie pouted, "Unless you can get into the pain games!~"

Moxxie frowned, "I thought she was banned."

"She is." she replied, "But I ain't."

Millie's eyes widened, "Are you actually suggestin'...?"

"We look pretty alike." Sallie informed, "Paint your horns, put on a little makeup, and find some heels that add a few inches and we'll be good to go!"

"Uuum, I do hate to break this to you, but what if it rubs off? The paint and makeup I mean," Moxxie clarified.

"She'll get covered in dirt before anyone notices plus they'll be watching at a distance so ain't nobody gonna notice." Sallie clarified, "The only thing I ask in return is you gotta help me the next time I call ya up for a favor."

"Honey," Moxxie said softly, Moxxie said softly, "You don't have to do this."

"Oh yes, I do." Millie said, firmly, clashing her fist together, "And imma enterin' those games."
