babys third survivors guilt!

I just woke up from a cavity filling surgery so I’m a bit disoriented, but I need to get this headcanon out!

Hizashi has an American dad who he gets most of his looks from.

His dad is into fringe culture (specifically 80’s-90’s) and moved to Japan for work related purposes. That’s where he met his beautiful wife, Yamada Kyokuchō (Her name means melody).

He’s a supportive husband and dad, with a loud attitude that was passed down to his children.

He’s also a bear.

when i first learned that mic drives a ford mustang, i thought to myself “of course he does”, it felt like such an extra / fancy choice 

but after seeing what yagi & best jeanist drive, i became very curious

i guess this could be hori’s way of showing the hierarchy in the world of heroes, since all might’s and best jeanist’s cars look like they’d probably cost a lot more (and mic’s car isn’t a cheap one either!), which is very interesting, but also, i’d say that mic’s choice is kinda far from practical. given that bnha is set in the future, yamada’s car would be at least a hundred years old, or of course it could be a replica. but if it’s not and is indeed an original 1966 ford mustang shelby, i would imagine that it requires a lot of maintenance / care. it’s so interesting, because mic doesn’t strike me as a very orderly / careful kind of person, but i can easily imagine him having very strict rules when it comes to his car. like, imagine somebody slams the door a bit too hard and immediately gets yelled at lol

also this isn’t some random choice of car. i feel like a person who isn’t very interested or invested in cars would just go for something new-ish and popular, but this???? this seems like a very specific choice by someone who researched the topic. also interesting how unlike yagi or best jeanist’s cars, mic’s car is very much based on a real-life prototype. my question is, why did hori specifically go for this car? why ford? what if anything i’m probably reading waaayyy too much into this someone stop me does this say about mic as a character? was ford chosen to somehow hint at his connection to the US, or at the very least his interest in the US? i’m genuinely very curious

but one thing i know with absolute certainty is that it would be red. like, look at it. it’s so pretty

What All Might and the other Pro Heroes Think of You!

Hello @dinguswingus !!  I am so happy for the follow as well as a look into what your zodiac sign is! Absolutely lovely! Capricorns are my favorite when it comes to those who eventually achieve at something they love! But all in all here is what the various pro heroes think of you- as your own person of course! ^^ 💕✨

All Might: Thinks you are a fine, young individual. Hopefully you strive to help people going out of your way to help those in need. He looks forward to see you rise up in the hero ranks seeing as you are quite strong in nature.

Aizawa: This sleepy caterpillar tries to hide the fact that they adore you. Often, Shota likes to ignore you but fails as you being “his friend”. However, his idea of friends is inviting you to pet his four cats in awkward silence.

Hizashi: (Present Mic) You and him are absolutely the best of friends. Him often showing up unannounced at your place and the two of you ordering pizza, take out-etc. Sometimes Aizawa or Toshinori join but never stay long due to how rowdy the both of you are.

Miruko: She thinks highly of you-would die for you. But often worries that living a pro hero life would get you killed. Wants the best for you.

Midnight: You two are basically family. She thinks you are an angel! Be prepared for long conversations about personal life.

13: Thinks you are awkward but rather sweet -very hard working.

Endeavor: Doesnt even look at you-let alone talk to you.

Hawks: Eh-who are you again?

Bonus:

Miss Mama: You are amazing! Mama always has good words to say about you. Will smack someone with a croc if they say otherwise.

HC: Mic takes every student with a verbal activated/ sound/ lung quirk under his wing

His ARMY

Jiro: Mic takes the most interest with her due to her ability to cancel him out. Some respect earned there. Helps her with support gear (HAGE), building resistance and balancing her passions with hero work. They 100% have sound battles. Very sassy mentor - student vibe going on, where they both still make fun of each other. I SAID she interns with him during her 2nd year.

Koda: After the finals arc he apologizes profusely- like whispering (still uncomfortable talking) but Mic responds in sign! They repair the damage starting from there. Mic helps build his confidence and voice. Is very patient when he goes non-verbal. Both hate bugs.

Shinso: When Aizawa is busy with Eri or his problem children, Mic trains Shinso's voice. Making it louder without damaging his throat and such. ALSO! Vocal lessons. It helps to have a hero know how hard it is to mimic voices.

More on Shinso (a stupid HC really) Mic helps him change his voice faster. Friday Night Funkin style - Like a fun game between them where Mic starts off with 4 notes/ voices, makes a song of sorts which Shinso has to memorize and repeat back to him. Mic then gets faster, more complex, holding voices here and there.

SHOJI. Its not that Shoji can weaponize his voice- again its with safely amplifying his voice which would would a lot in rescue situations. They probably have a hella complex handshake thing going on.

Manga Fukidashi: With Mics frequency changes- he can also mimic sounds. He helps Manga understand these sounds better and how to create them so that he can also mimic them, giving his quirk more onomatopoeia characteristics. Also- throat damage again. Mic gives tips on that as his quirk can also irritate his throat when overused.

Kosei Tsuburaba: LiSTEN- Helping increase his lung capacity. Mics lungs are fucking crazy, and the time he can hold a single note is insane. That's helped by both his quirk and the breathing excersizes Mic does. He recommends these to Tsuburaba and runs him through several of them. It helps strengthen Tsuburaba's solid air and allows him to make more air solid in a single breath. I also think Mic would be the perfect person to test "Air Prison" against as it is sound proof.

Why aren't there so many present mic fanarts? Its design is super cool.
