If you had to, what would be some songs you’d put on a playlist titled ‘normal person playlist’?
And for fun let’s make this a tag game (no pressure!)

So, I'm back with another recreated comic fit. This is Namora in Sub-Mariner #29 (1948). It was impossible to find a dress from the 1940s that looked exactly like hers, so I ended up going with this sweet red dress from the 1950s. The earrings are also from the '50s, because I like those gleamy carnelians better than the 1940s bakelite earrings that came up in my search. Everything else is from the '40s.
Not my most period-accurate comic recreation, but given the year this issue was published, I guess it's close enough. :)
One of my favorite panels of all time. Oh Clint, what are you doing? XD
Clint Barton & Natasha Romanoff Loki: Agent of Asgard (2014) #1
The Star Clipper, a Space Shuttle design from Lockheed for NASA.
The craft would have used expendable wrap-around fuel tanks to boost it into space, where it could deposit crew and cargo to orbital platforms.
Another of my old engineering memes for you all. :D
I always get confused between AoA for Agent of Asgard or Age of Apocalypse. Both Marvel storylines
Oh goodness, I had forgotten about that one. You’re so right!
Space Shuttle Discovery at Cape Canaveral, March 2009.
Most of if not the entire team would survive the trip. Loki would love the idea of bombing the island, but he might end up not encouraging it after some deliberation with Carol and Fury. I mean, he's sometimes reasonably cautious at the beginning of Thor 1 and in his show, so he's capable of being level-headed in a scientific/dangerous setting. That being said, he'll definitely try some chaotic magic for the giggles, and the time it takes Fury and Carol to stop him from doing said chaotic magic would easily add 10% of runtime back to the movie.
Carol would fix the stranded pilot's boat in record time because she's awesome like that.
Fury wouldn't go crazy because (a) he elects to ignore most stupid decisions that come his way, (b) he brought his emotional support flerken with him, and (c) he's Fury.
Which leads us to said emotional support flerken. Fury might be annoyed with Goose at first when she doesn't eat Kong but has no problem with gobbling up the big scary critters on the island. But he'll quickly come around. Kong wouldn't have to fight the "Big One" because Goose single-handedly causes a mass skullcrawler extinction event as soon as they show up. If not Goose, then definitely Carol and Loki.
The Loki has been Chitauri’d/Odin’d/maltreated. The Loki was adopted by random Avenger. The Loki is recuperating. The Loki was given a food now. The Loki doesn’t yet remember what that means. The Loki is now everyone’s pup.
(honouring this specific kind of fanfictions)
Nat | Cap | Bucky | Clint | Tony | etc
Send me to Mars with party supplies before next august 5th
Sometimes if I'm feeling particularly ambitious with my virtual paper dolls, I recreate fits from various Marvel comics. Dream Plane requested Loki's disguise from Journey Into Mystery #85 (1962 iirc), so I did my best to bring it to life using authentic apparel from the 1960s.
Finding irl stuff that looks like their comic counterparts can be quite the challenge, so I was pleasantly surprised to find everything with the same general color scheme!
the concept and idea of “you can always start trying to be a better person” is extremely important to me both in media and irl and i continue to be deeply deeply disturbed by the trend on this site pushing that these ideas in media are bad writing or even morally reprehensible
because theyd rather someone stay terrible or just straight up die than become a better person
from a compassionate point of view it’s deeply distressing and from a pragmatic point of view it’s outright frustrating
it’s fucked up.
Dudes healthcare is so fake. My ADHD meds are $940 without insurance. But they gave me a website of "coupons" which straight up looks like a scam website, and I got it today for $60! Just a coupon from a random website and it was $900 cheaper. America, I am confusion!! America explain!!
The rules are simple. Share the song(s) that remind you of one character from the last book you read. Don't be shy! The crazier the better. :D
