A fun crossover
As someone who reads a lot of Pokemon fic, especially gameverse, I often find myself in the mood to read a certain character as the "protag", since we have cases where some characters are either the rival or the protagonist. And I'd love to be able to filter by that!
So I propose making a common tag convention on Ao3 that we could follow when writing and tagging fic. My ideas were something like "Protag Teru | Rei" or "Teru | Rei is the Protagonist". We could also have tags like "Rival Haruka | May" or "Haruka | May is the Rival".
Of course, there's no obligation to do so, but I think it would be a useful tag, especially for less common choices of protag/rival assignment. (And things like the secret third option of both characters being protags can be conveyed by tagging both!)
Doughboys doodles! (Can you guess who my fav is heheh)
I haven't personally verified this as I'm not at a computer, but multiple people in multiple places are saying the same thing. This is fucking insane. First the endless war on UBlock, then the Chromium changes to shut out some blocker functionalities entirely next year, now this?
Something is deeply rotten in recent Google/YouTube policy. I can't imagine that this is legal - how is this not anticompetitive? Google needs to get mega fucked in the press and the courts sooner rather than later.
And I need to switch to Firefox as soon as I get home.
A big thank you to @justwannabecat for corrupting me with this dead on main soulmate prompt. I have been buried in plot bunnies for months now because of you. Dp x Dc

Why do I need to write this fanfiction? Why can’t it just materialize in this Word document as beautiful and exciting as I imagine it in my head? Why do I need to fucking describe everything I can see so damn perfectly that somehow gets all fuzzy when I try to put it on paper?
Why TF hasn’t someone invented a way to beam the movie in my head directly onto the page? Can we get on that? Save authors everywhere a whole lot of trouble?
(I know arceus is a mythical but shhhhh) This au has been in my mind for a few days now and since I’ve finished this picture (and I have more planned) I can get into it.
So in this au, when Akari and Ingo got sent to Hisui, they woke up as shiny legendary (and mythical) Pokémon. Here’s some more info:
Akari
Akari is a shiny Arceus (it’s unrelated to the choice, but I like how similar Akari and Arceus sound)
She appears the same way she did before, just as an arceus instead of a human
Professor Laventon, after figuring out she wouldn’t attack him, takes her back to Jubilife
Despite being an arceus, she was given the same task of seeking out all Pokémon, so she helps out with Survey Corps
Rei is her chosen human to drag around on dangerous adventures to gather information on Pokémon (since she won’t be able to write in a Pokédex until she gets a better hold on psychic)
Ingo
Ingo is a shiny Reshiram, and when he’s in overdrive his fire is hot pink/purple
When he first arrived in Hisui, he had no memory. He was found by Lady Sneasler, who took him to the Pearl Clan
Irida is the first human to meet him and needless to say she was very surprised when Lady Sneasler turned up with a whole legendary dragon Pokémon
They didn’t know what he was so he wrote his name in the dirt and they called him that from then on
Some time later, he receives the title Lord Ingo and gets his own Warden
His coat is in fairly good condition, since most Pokémon won’t approach the giant dragon and those who do are swiftly taken care of
Also the Pearl Clan will mend his coat whenever it gets damaged
