This blog will combine three things I love dearly: writing, talking about writing, and aesthetics. So if you have an amazing OC for which you crave an aesthetic moodboard or Instagram page - tell me all about them, and I will make you one! After all, every writer needs fanart.

how do you make your mood boards?
Hey friend, thank you for the question! It’s quite a process, actually. If I make a moodboard for a request, I start out with making a clear list of the information I have, together with ideas for colors and such. Then, I go to tumblr/google/pinterest and just ‘look around‘. Sometimes I search for specific quotes or images, sometimes I simply look up things like ‘blue aesthetic‘, to gather inspiration. I try to make combinations of clear-cut ‘object-images‘ (like: if an OC always wears trench coats or has a loyal dog, I will look up pictures of those), and images that are more focused on the personality of the OC.Browsing like that, I collect way to many images. When I think I have enough, I have a critical look at my pictures and my first list, and decide if I am missing an important aspect of the character. If possible, I try to have at least one image for each aspect/point on the list. When I think I have enough, I start combining things. I simply put together pictures in Paint, try different sizes and combinations. It is easy to see which set-ups look pleasing and which don’t. I shift around images till I have reached a balance in colors that I like. Sometimes I cannot use pictures I really like, because they do not fit the overall scheme.I hope this is not too much/too vague. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
Tomorrow, I am leaving to enjoy a three week holiday, with a notebook, but without internet. I will be out of reach for a while, but do keep sending me messages and requests! Everything I have received so far has made me very happy, and I do believe it will continue that way :D. When I get back, I’ll start with the first in line. Have a great summer, everybody!
A moodboard for the sweet Vica, by @lenkalost. I hope this looks a bit like her!
Requests for OC aesthetics are open.
Hey! Um, I have a question - are we allowed to ask for multiple moodboards? What I mean by this is like. Could I ask for a moodboard for an OC, and when that one is done, a while after, could I ask for another one for a different OC? Thanks, and have a great day!! :D
Yes, sure, of course you can! I know how easy it is to fall in love with two or more OC’s in one story, not to mention the amount of stories (and characters) one can have. It would almost be mean to make you choose! All I ask is a little patience - I am a college student and my inbox yesterday suddenly exploded with requests (about which I am very excited!), so it might take a little while for the moodboards to be published. Apart from that, you are always welcome to discuss your characters with me and ask for as many moodboards as you would like (though I might give preriority to new ones, if you have asked five already ;)).
@ocdevelopmentstuff asked for a moodboard for their soldier Aksel. Hope you like this one! Requests for OC aesthetics are open
A moodboard for ‘Eliza‘, an introvert florist by @chloromantis. I hope you like it! Requests for OC aesthetics are open.
Would you make an aeshetic for a preexisting character or an RP muse?
If the internet is informing me right, an RP muse is a original character too, only used for RP instead of writing a novel? Because in that case, sure, hit me up! (And if it’s something else, please do explain, I like to learn). I don’t mind making a moodboard for an existing character either, but my main plan is to work for OC’s by writers (or drawers, painters, LARP’ers, anyone who would like it). As I am not busy yet, though, you could send me existing characters too!
A moodboard for ‘Moe‘ by @whatdoyoumeantheresonly3episodes. I hope this fits the character you have in mind! Requests for OC aesthetics are open
My blog is open for requests
Do you know that feeling that you are writing a story, and for once, you are not suffocating in self-doubt? For once, you are actually quite happy with what you’ve written? You might have fallen in love with your own plot and characters, and the only thing you really want to do is delve into a fandom and share that love... right till you realize your novel hasn’t been published yet. Well, if you do, than this blog is the place you were looking for. I love talking about writing, and I love aesthetics, which means I will gladly make a moodboard for any character you entrust me with. You can give me directions, colors, specific wishes and whatever you want, but simply telling me about your character may also do the trick. The more details, the better it will be, thought! I hope there’s a little interest in this idea, and I hope to hear from all of you. Happy writing!
