Fenêtre is a prolific group with a passion for beautiful folk sounds and personal lyricism with a strong storytelling value. They latest release, “The Chartens Family” is an absolute stunner, which is currently available online via bandcamp. Fenêtre ’s beautifully produced studio effort will definitely capture you with a mix of elements and influences, spanning genres as diverse as folk, french ballads and beat pop with a 60s flare.

Fenêtre once again confirm their diverse approach as performers and their song-writng certainly displays the many sides of the band’s character. The group’s diverse songbook creates a bridge between past and future, hopes and dreams, focusing on the way beautiful instrumentals can combine with honest vocals in order to share stories and perspective in the truest possible way. Even when musical influences are worn on a sleeve, Fenêtre does not simply try to imitate acts such as Elliott Smith or The Beatles, on the contrary, they brings something special to their unique to their legacy.

On the year of 2002, I lost my mother. There's an empty room shaped inside of whatever is left of my ugly heart. Time passed and furnished that empty space with words and tunes. Slowly, I embodied those melody and lyrics into a few songs. I have knitted every songs into stories, stories about two headed boy namely Ethan and Dylan from The Chartens Family. This Album is a piece of my sorrow that I put back together into a medium that you can see, listen and feel. I've put my heart into this and if you enjoy it and like it i want you to have it with any price that you want.
