status update: I‘m bleeding outta my nose now
got a cold rn,
why would god smite me in this way?
thank god that I got internet access at 11 and started reading fanfic about Stony
Kinda crazy how speaking English is almost a form of literacy without which your access to the relevant scientific and sociopolitical conversations of our time is seriously limited.... Thank God I started reading yaoi fanfiction on American websites at age 14
the list is sending me 😭
A reminder that Steve’s first instinct was to defend, not attack.
Even when he doesn’t have a shield, he literally makes one.
nah I don’t think so
dude omg I was obsessed with these videos
My brain decided to throw back when I discovered Stony 10 years ago, I remember thinking “wow this video is so good!” and started watching all these videos EVERY SINGLE DAY for like a month 💀 [I still remember one with the song “future husband” by Meghan trainor]
at that time I didn’t know about AO3 or Wattpad (tumblr either) so I just assumed that those videos were the only thing about that ship and oh god the obsession I developed 😭
no because ACTUALLY!! it happens so goddamn often and it’s almost never in the tags of the fic either. i hate it when people do that. i mean, sure if you want to bash a character, then do it but at least tag the fic correctly :/
hate when you're reading a stevetony fic and you start to realise that the writer has a not-so-secret disdain for one of them and a can-do-no-wrong attitude about the other.
and i'm not even saying it's usually steve or tony because people do it both ways!!! tf. anyway i'm closing the fic window now
the way I relate to this soooo much <3
Gender is so weird guys
I'm one of the girls, I'm a girl's girl and I'll cry if you say I'm not, but I'm not a girl's girl.
I'm also Just Some Guy, y'know? I'm a little weirdo, a freak, a little girl with dirt on his knees and fire in his eyes.
I'm her husband but I'm also her girlfriend.
I'm neither a man nor a woman but a weird recluse writer who lives on the edge of a cliff where its always stormy.
I dress like an alt older brother from an early 2000's movie but also like a 90's lesbian (sometimes it's the same outfit).
In conclusion, labels are weird. I'm a boyfriend and a girlfriend, a husband but not a wife, a girl but not a woman, a guy, a man, a friend.
All that being said, he/him and they/them are still very much my pronouns (never she/her).
Peace and love!!
whatever you want baby <3
😑
we goin back to my shipping roots with this one 🔥🔥
Hannon le.
Just realized all these years later as I scrolled down memory lane that @mirthandstar never posted their truly gorgeous commission they did for me. I hope you're doing well out there. Thank you for my old men, I do infact look at them everyday.
I can’t f*ing do this anymore
Gotta say it, I sometimes miss that giddy optimism.
Jaja lol they're iconic for a reason
(I wanted to make my own version of this post but with more pairings lmao)
tfatws bucky as jiji from kiki's delivery service
no.
There are currently ~2300 works in AO3 tagged with "Created Using Generative AI"
I'll be upfront with my opinion, which mirrors my opinion in regards to my field: using AI will only hasten your own obsolescence. The point of fanfiction is not to crank out fics, but rather to enjoy the hobby and communities of writing and fandom.
🫧👊
wtf am I supposed to be? A bubble bro??
ur first and last recent emojis are ur gender now. mine is 🅱👨❤💋👨
they didn’t even fucking apologize you dipshit
This is fascinating for two reasons.
1. They haven’t actually apologised for anything. She’s pre-emptively rejecting an apology that they have no intention of giving.
2. Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are extremely well-liked. A lot of people are more attached to them in their roles as they are to the actual characters in the books.
What does JK Rowling gain by coming out with this?
