cover for paris match magazine
Paris match is a weekly magazine, it covers news, politics, celebrities’ gossip, lifestyle features.
I been looking though many Paris match magazine front page and main article thought out this project, I notice most significant point of the magazine aim, is to report to the general people about important features whom might gives impact to the world, which is why it is one of the most influential magazine in France, it is also influents to the culture.
Following on the article on Wikipedia: ‘Paris Match has sold more than one million copies worldwide when covering major events such as the first flight by a French astronaut aboard the U.S. Space Shuttle in June 1985.’ , but ever since the magazine is back to chatting about the lives of celebrities and paparazzi and political gossips. Therefore my question is should the cultures develop base on meaningless gossiping?
Our societies are mostly based on product advertising, celebrities’ dreams and monopoly economic games; I don’t see the societies are being health. ‘We human are capable with such beautiful dreams and such horrible nightmares’ – quote by Carl Sagan, after watched the documentary the cosmos I had such influence by science, which there are significant amount of living evidences to proof it benefit our world more than anything; more sciences are in the media the healthier the society will be. Therefore I choose a science topic to be this project.
Judging by the timescale of the present, neuroscience has the most successful breakthrough in year 2012… after go though amount of articles on the internet, I understand that scientist are trying to map the function of the human brain and in-order to make a computer which is much more effusion computers for future artificial robots. The image on the right is call Alvin the computer the technology is alright exist since 1980’s, it is function by human glowing brain cells and in the article I added a little twist to say Mr. Geerinck build the device.
The reason I choose Mr. Geerinck as the character in the portraits for the magazine, is because he looks like one of those mad scientist in comics book and cartoons, in another word is what people would wants to believe.

Adding... most of us the individuals would achieve goal on each self-individuals, regardless on good or bad(it is not important, nature would do any means to avoid dangers for survival). But to set a common goal with in groups or communities thou could benefit greater than one individual's interests... But over the years how could we be so blindly enough to miss to see what we done to endanger ourselves. It seems like(it is a fact) the environment that we glow up with effects our behaviour into self-interested more. So, what is our goal as human beings in this very chapter of era? What can truly benefit our life and our descendants? What can we teach them? (I'm thinking of massive picture of the earth plus the dimension of time...)
Despite our knowledge, understanding of war and hatreism, worthless competition of economic, wealth and abundances… I ask myself what is our true goal as to be a human being?
