Keep reading. History always repeats itself. The "press" gone through cycles and made a lot of mistakes over time. Read about the Spanish-American War, it happened because of the press. Don't believe everything you read in the press, even about Trump, because real reporting has taken a back seat.

i was doing some research on john adams bc thatβs the kind of girl i am.. and i found out that he was deeply unpopular because of an act he passed. they were called the alien and sedition acts. i didnβt think much of it until i read the article and this is what i found.
in the alien and sedition acts, john adams:
did not allow people to protest the government
did not allow immigrants into the US
did not allow freedom of the press
jailed lawmakers
deported foreigners
fined and imprisoned those who wouldΒ βwrite, print, utter, or publishβ¦ any false, scandalous and malicious writingβ agains the government
violated personal rights
RESTRICTED FREEDOM OF SPEECH
and it made me thinkβ¦ wowβ¦ iβm glad that the United States has come far so we donβt have to worry about all thisβ¦.
and then i realized⦠this is exactly what Donald Trump is doing.

badass woman, a badass truck, money found in the Atlantic and the bad guys want their money back. There isn't any conflict here, nothing to see or read. However... This is series book 2 I don't have many friends, so I need total strangers to take a chance on my writing.
