Hi fun Doctor Who thought: I think if the show ever wanted to be Super Clever, then the season leading up to a regeneration should have 1 episode that has some EXTREME plot holes, like to the point fans are like "how did they ever fix x they never explained that". Like even the Doctor is like "yeah I'm not really sure what happened to that". HOWEVER that episode should also feature one of the companions bumping into a couple of people that are walking past. It should look like a cameo, at least one of the actors should be semi-well known. A couple weeks after that, the semi-well known actor should be announced as the next doctor.
AND THEN IN THE NEXT SEASON: the regenerated doctor and the new companion land in the same spot (cause we know damn well the Doctor loves to visit the same time periods and places over and over) and the Doctor realizes "oh wait. I'm who cleaned that up" and like half the episode should just be them trying to avoid the past incarnation. If possible these episodes should be filmed at the same time.
Whatever the title of the first episode was, the episode in the next season is called pt. 2.

Petition to get Ryan Reynolds to play Paul Blofis in the PJO tv show. Sally Jackson deserves an exceptionally hot husband, and Ryan and Walker have such great chemistry in The Adam Project that I just want to watch them work together again. Ryan Reynolds was made to play the clueless but loving and well-meaning stepfather, and tbh if this show gets popular enough I feel like he'd be into it.

A lot of people talking about Oppenheimer are saying things like "just watched a bunch of white men talking for three hours" or "watching a white man build a bomb"
this is a movie where the main character and a significant number of side characters are Jews that takes place in the late 1930s-40s. Jews were absolutely not considered white at that time. In the US, they would've been racialized as Hebrews and faced a lot of discrimination for it
The movie didn't do a great job of showing that, but it's true. Oppenheimer isn't some white man who built a bomb because he was not racialized as white during the Manhatten Project.
This doesn't affect the morality of his actions at all and there's absolutely no reason not to shit on him for what he did, but don't erase his Jewishness when you do so. Especially because him being a Jew during the Holocaust times and wanting to stop the Nazis was a big part of his motivation to build the bomb.
Since I’m back on tumblr I thought I’d repost my old comic from 2018. A lot of things have changed since then and sometimes a dried out ‘never give up’ doesn’t quite hit anymore. But even when burnout sometimes feels less heavy, this brings back some hope.
