Well evidently my brain wanted a break from drawing Fontaine sibling stuff (I swear to God if I don't finish that wip I'll simply cease to exist) so I went to play around with anatomy and perspective sketches (I am not good with either I'm a beginner artist dude) and one of my oc's came to mind and next thing I know I had a full sketch so please enjoy my boy Matt (I know it's very rough I'm not used to drawing like this but recently my brain likes it so I'm trying to get better, also no one bring up my percentage I know it's low 😭)

He doesn't normally wear glasses but I did sketch him with his glasses too big ol' square boys (he wears them when it's late after washing up because he took out his contacts to shower)

I might sketch his bf later if I'm still in a low art mood just to keep up steam (I'm lagging on the Fontaine siblings wip because I'm on clothes and it's the absolute bane of my existence but I really don't want to abandon it 😭)

Okay hi hello! Resident ace spectrum person of fandom space! I can confidently say that no it is not a recipe for eventual problems or break ups. I've literally been in a relationship for five years going on six this month. I found out I was on the ace spectrum about a year into dating my two partners and when I voiced that I might be ace I was encouraged to find out about myself. I was told I was still loved by both of them and it didn't change our relationship. If you find someone you really love and really loves you it won't matter to them. Sex is not integral to a relationship all the time and it shouldn't be the backbone of your love towards someone. Assuming that sex plays such a large part in a relationship is damaging for both asexual and allosexual individuals because it sets an expectation that you can only please and attract someone with your body and nothing else in the relationship matters (it's like when people say "your relationship is failing maybe you should put out more" or "was your sex game really that bad?"). This is not the case though, having an open talk about expectations of sex in a relationship and expressing your low, non-existent, or repulsed view on sexual activity is normal and should happen in all relationships even for allosexual individuals. It lets you know where your relationship stands with someone because if they truly only care about your relationship when they thought sex was on the table it probably wouldn't work out in the future anyways regardless of your view on sex. No one deserves to be put down or told that they have to seek out someone just like them (which is easier said than done) just to find love. Please if you share the same view as the person in the third post please take a second to reevaluate your view on sex and why you believe it's so important in a relationship that you think an ace person can't have working relationships with people outside of other ace individuals because I assure you we can.

one of my fandom litmus tests is whether or not ppl think asexual characters can be in relationships because some of y’all would rather write five paragraph essays explaining why you can’t ship them with anyone than redefine the way you view love (aka acknowledge rather than invalidate relationships that have no sexual physicality)

You know what? This feels like something right out of The Magnus Archives. Like the whole crew of the Strawhats+Sunny was swallowed up by the vast and just narrowly escaped cause they didn't really know what would happen but knew if they let their guard down it would be over for them. What I'm saying is this was written absolutely beautifully!!! I loved it so much and even though it was short it gave a great deal of suspense absolutely wonderful!!!

We know there's a lot of weird spots that the strawhats have traveled through and I was thinking about what things would be super creepy out on the open water.

And I thought the sea is always moving, right? There's almost always going to be the sound of waves and water, even if it's quiet. There's almost always going to be the sway that comes from being at sea, the smell of salt, the harsh line of the horizon, etc.

But what if there wasn't? What if the water goes silent and the ship goes still? What if the horizon disappears in a night that's too dark to be normal and the moon is the only light but it sits in the sky more like a gaping hole than the usual nighttime companion?

Something where Luffy and Zoro are out on the ship in the middle of the night, the moon too high and too bright but everything much darker than it should be. The water and sky around them is all a wrong sort of black.

Luffy sits ridged on the figurehead and the frown is clear from the lines of his body even though he's facing forward. Zoro standing on the deck right behind him, the muscles of his back drawn tight and he has his hands on his swords. They're both almost swallowed by the dark.

The moonlight cuts across the deck in a harsh, sterile light.

Sanji leans against the mast towards the back, the very edge of his shoes teasing the cut of the moonlight. The red glow of his cigarette lights up his face just enough to see the harsh slant of his brow and the tightness of his jaw. The smoke is white as it leaves him and then gets swallowed by the dark.

Robin off to the side, arms crossed and hip resting against the side of the deck. She looks like stone in the low light, shoulders back and a blank look on her face.

All of them hyper focused on where the horizon should be, but is instead it's just endless, wrong dark.

Everything still and silent. The water doesn't move and there's no breeze.

The world is holding it's breath.

Quiet.

The only sound is their heartbeat in their ears and shallow breathing that's almost soundless. Chopper clings tight to Nami who's pressed side to side with Usopp. Franky and Brook are both on the other side of the room, keeping watch and braving the edges of moonlight that come through the little window. They're motionless, Brook blends into the shadows and leaves only the occasional white bone for the moon to catch. Franky is especially menacing and huge in the near nonexistent light.

They don't go out, terrified of making a noise that would break whatever silence is currently blanketed over them, terrifed that they'd make Luffy and the others lose focus and take their eyes off whatever they're watching or waiting for.

They stay curled up and silent against the wall that separates them from the moon and the night. It's dark inside the cabin but it's softer than whatever is outside. It's almost comforting, like children hoping a blanket keeps away the monsters.

They stay like that all night. When the first splashes of color spill across the hoizon it seems like a blanket has been ripped off. Suddenly air comes easier into their lungs and their muscles relax enough to flex fingers that had been clenched for hours and roll shoulders that had gone tight.

Zoro is back to his normal napping spot of deck, chin already dropping down to his chest and swords laid across his lap.

Luffy is still on the figurehead but he looks like he's humming to himself and looking towards the horizon with ease.

Robin is sitting down on the stairs, tired but relaxed as she leans into the morning breeze.

Sanji is already making his way towards the kitchen with a lazy stroll, the smell of his cigarettes lingers over the ship.

They don't ask.

Chopper scampers over to Zoro and carefully nudges the swords aside enough that he can climb onto his lap. He finally relaxes as Zoro wraps an arm around him, he's in one of the safest places on the ship.

Nami lets Sanji flutter around her longer than normal, sitting beside Robin who also seems content to indulge their cook a little extra today.

Usopp tails Franky, being careful on where he looks even though he knows there's no risk of him seeing anything terrible anymore. Franky asks something and Usopp launches into a story, eyes brightening up and a smile back on his face.

Brook goes to sit near Luffy and starts to play something warm and welcoming to greet the day.

It never happens again, at least not like it had that night.

Sometimes Luffy or Zoro seem to stare off at the horizon with a sharp intensity, but it breaks quickly.

Sometimes Sanji stands on the deck and smokes until there's a pile of ash at his feet, brow furrowed as he looks out over the water until he seems to blink and break himself out of it.

Sometimes Robin sits on the deck and wears the face she make when she's working on a puzzle, going though everything she knows and trying to make everything fit together.

That endless dark and haunting moon never reappear though. The dark only brings stars and the moon glows like a warm candle.

So I've been sick for the past five or so days and haven't had the energy to draw, sketch, or even doodle.

That being said, do you wanna see what I just opened my ibis to see. What I left my last art project on?

Okay listen I've created an entire precure like au with the OP crew (specifically the east blue crew being the ones that transform and the other members being their companions!) but was too embarrassed to ever actually draw or write that au cause I was like "who would even like this other than me!" But I'm not the only one!!! 😭😭😭 This made me happier than I could ever be thank you so much!!! (Also I approve of twink Sanji+buff Luffy pairing 1,000%)

They both meet as civilians but come together to fight the forces of evil by moonlight (without knowing the identity of the other at first) 👹✨

Any One Piece fans that see this I need some help deciding something!

So I'm writing a fanfic that is set in a modern au where the East Blue Crew meet up as kids. My problem? I've come to realize something I weirdly haven't seen much school fics or comics cover and that is, THAT SANJI IS PRACTICALLY A YEAR OLDER THAN ZORO!!!

This matters in a school setting where because of their birthdays technically, in my fic, Sanji would be in 7th grade at 12 while the rest are all still in elementary school (specifically speaking Zoro(12) and Nami(11) both being in 6th without him)

If I age him down there'd be about three months between Zoro and Sanji, but Zoro would now be the oldest EBC kid (followed by Sanji and everyone else carries out as normal)

So the question is:

Have still never watched it. One of my bf watched all the way through and loved it. The other watched it on and off and the finale, they did not like it a lot and he gets upset about most episodes so neither of them talk about it with the other. The only media I've consumed are clips/scenes my partners have shown me (not full episodes as they know I don't like it so usually just meme stuff), and d20's A Crown Of Candy and The Ravening War (which is dnd GOT meets Candy Land and it's amazing cause I love the whole party and the dm!!!). But yeah never sat down to watch it and never will.

Okay so this is something I actually really liked to talk about when I first got into Persona so I'm so happy to talk about it!!! Firstly before I start I'd like to point out that in this I believe he attends a Catholic school. Some of the stuff you pointed out are some of the reasons BUT not all!!! One cool thing is that Yusuke's casual clothes has a fleur-de-lis which represents purity and chastity and the symbol is often associated with the Virgin Mary in catholicism. Another is that his school has a Peacock as kind of a school mascot/pet that lives at the school and in catholicism the peacock is used to represent rebirth, resurrection, and eternal life. To link in with that the name Kōsei (of Kōsei high obviously) translates to rehabilitation OR rebirth!!! Tie a lot of these things in with the fact that Yusuke was practically raised to follow his master like a false prophet and that he was basically a Martyr for Madarame not to mention that his story parallels that of an ex religious cult escape trying to learn how to function outside of the things he was raised to believe you have a pretty sound argument for this theory! Anyways I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on this little theory brain blurb.

Have yet to watch the Wednesday show but my partner is currently watching it next to me on his phone while I crochet. Firstly I would like to say I know this is probably a critical role VA joke. Having said that I think as characters they really would make a fun group and I fully believe they'd work on The Rule of Cool (against Theo's wishes probably). I think Yusuke would be delighted in sitting down and making character art and minis for everyone just for fun. Rise probably has music pulled up for the game and offered to give songs to whoever is playing a music based bard. Akihiko brought energy drinks and snacks for the game (Yusuke ate them all the first session and he's brought them ever since). The sibling need for Margaret to bully Theo every chance she gets is through the roof with this game. And Teddy is just trying to pull off the most asinine shit at every turn (He chose human fighter of this I am almost certain) Also the whole group is part of the ones fucking up the WOTC right now and I can't be convinced otherwise. Akechi is out here pulling up every receipt of those documents 🤣. Also I think Jun from p2 would also fit in with this group. Btw the sheer amount of would be bards in this group is hilarious!

Ah my fave ship. Then again my fave poly ship is ryuakekita because it just feels like my relationship (I see one of my boyfriends as Ryuji cause he's pervy but a good dumb boi with chronic pain and the other as Goro cause he's fucking crazy and masks happy a lot but he loves us in his sweet way.
