healing doesn't have to look pretty or be some magical process. healing is hard. it's draining and exhausting.
don't try to paint it as anything other than what it is. don't be ashamed at how rough it can look.
Linguistic drift is an inevitable result of majority groups adopting language developed by minority groups. To give a silly example: when I first heard the phrase "theydies and gentlethems", it was legitimately funny. It was taking a traditional greeting that excludes nonbinary people and making it all about nonbinary people. What happened next is that the phrase spread and found its way to the cis majority where it started to take on connotations of "greetings to nonbinary people of both sexes" and instead of being a subversion of something else it became a reference to itself, and a tool cis people could use to sort nonbinary people into "really men" and "really women". A similar thing happened with "afab" and "amab". Their coinage by trans and intersex people originally served to make visible the act of gender assignation itself, instead of sweeping it under the rug with terms like "mtf" or "born female". Then cis people got a hold of them and used them mostly to talk about other cis people and the words started to take on connotations of "men and people I think of as men" and "women and people I think of as women".
I don't think there's an easy solution to this problem. I do however think that being aware of it is half the battle. When you recognize that language shifts fast, you can be more accepting of people who use language you think of as outdated. When you see that the connotations of words are not fixed, it's less tempting to sort them into "objectively problematic" and "objectively unproblematic" and to sort people into good and evil by which words they use.

I made this a couple months ago, a demonstration on how Silke’s spells work by concepting her Spirit Guardians spell.
She has only seen parts of her god through clipped visions and dreams, along with recovered murals, tapestries and other relics. So most of her spells are inspired by what she tries to piece together about them.
So far her spells are mostly focused on eyes, teeth and hands but she’s been gradually starting to form some silhouettes the more she learns.
HELLO!!!11!!! OKAY, I AM VERY EXCITED FOR THIS RIGHT NOW, SO FUTURE ME APOLOGISES FOR THE CAPS LOCK BUT BRO LISTEN LISTEN LSITEN I AM CURRENTLY WRITING OUT CONCEPTS FOR A WHOLE FAN FIC FOR YOUR SCAMMERS TO LOVERS AU AND I AM A GENIUS SO Midoriya is quirkless and was in the support course yeah? Yeah, cool. SO There’s a lot of stigma in the world for quirkless individuals and Midoriya feels quite a bit of shame regarding it (no matter where he seemed to go, many people would still bully him for it) so he sort of hides it from his peers at UA. He doesn’t go Out of His Way to, but if someone thinks he has a quirk, he just rolls with it. I love writing out these little scenes between Midoriya and Monoma where Mono’s trying to figure out what kind of quirk this guy has. Is it something that enhances his senses? Something like Hatsume’s so he can see finer details better? Maybe it’s what helps him come up with support item ideas? Or maybe it’s intelligence-based like Principal Nezu? Maybe that helps him figure out all these technique enhancements for training students. So Monoma goes around trying to figure out what exactly his quirk is and how it works. Monoma goes about borrowing the quirk without letting Midoriya know so he can take an exam in class only for Nothing To Happen during it. He doesn’t feel suddenly smarter or anything so What The Hell happened. So his quirk isn’t intelligence, what is it? Monoma didn’t feel any of his senses enhance, so not that. It’s only later that he’s able to talk to Midoriya while he’s working on a support item for another student. “What the hell is your quirk??” “I don’t have one?” “What.” This isn't exactly an 'ask', I just really wanted to share this with you lmfao
Ahh that makes me so happy you’re writing a fic about my au 😭💕💕 also love that kind of concept haha, I remember reading a fic once where anytime someone would ask he’d just say a different silly power, and that’s the same vibes I think IT!deku would have! Being comfortable about being quirkless but not never missing an opportunity to mess with people <3

The birds and the bees- a toh mini comic
I apologize, the first few panels look a bit clunky since the sketches were so lazy (I initially doodled it without the idea of it being a comic) but I hope it’s still ok

My favourite thing about the D&D movie is it never stops trying to be a D&D movie even down to the most minute, unsung details. There's initiative order gags (I'll go last!) there's rolling a 1 gags (setting off the trap on the bridge by inexplicably just walking up to it) there's stat gags (nobody had high enough Intelligence to be in danger from the Intellect Devourers). Almost every spell is identifiable, from Xenk using smite to Sofina whipping out Finger of Death. Simon's character arc is about his self-confidence being tied to his mastery of magic because Charisma is the spellcasting stat for sorcerers. The era of movies based on games being afraid of their source material is over.
