Red Velvet’s Seulgi through the eras, for anonymous 🐻
People talk a great deal about being held accountable when it comes to others - particularly famous people. And I agree, everyone should face the consequences of their actions. But like, actions they did a year ago, two years ago, 3 years ago. And obviously the consequences should fit the actions.
But when y'all take out your pitchforks and prepare to burn someone at the stake for something they said or did (i.e. a racist/transphobic/homophobic/misogynistic/etc comment) ten years ago or longer, then that’s just stupid.
I said some pretty homophobic shit 5-6 years ago, I said some pretty racist shit some 5-6 years ago. Should I be tried for murder and receive the capital punishment? Should you?
Don’t defend celebrities with your life, you don’t know them, they don’t even know you exist, you owe them nothing. But don’t treat them like the “mortal” laws don’t apply to them simply because they’re famous, and “bring them to justice” for shit like this that happened a bazillion years ago.
Be angry and demand justice for those who sexually assaulted or murdered people 10+ years ago. Not people who made transphobic jokes 10 years ago or played Buddha in a movie when they were 29. IF it’s obvious they’re not the same person anymore and they’ve come a long way. It gains you nothing besides show how little sympathy and respect for growth you have.
Whoever signs Hanbin instantly gets the person who was iKON’s sole producer for every single one of their albums, 10 number one hits on Melon to his name, broke the record for the longest days on Melon (previously held by BIG BANG LIES), broke the record for paks, multiple daesangs, producer of the year, received the ultimate all kill when his song topped every single end of year chart and my personal favourite,
he ain’t some bum bitch
Make this go viral again
Why are we silent???
Character A : Sweet, brave, selfless, always with an adorable smile on their face, would do anything for their friends.
Character B : Sassy, sarcastic , constantly getting into trouble , always rolling their eyes, 100% done with everyone's shit.
Me: i ship it.
it is so funny how life is just whatever. it’s hilarious. life is so regimented all the way through high school and then after that you just do literally whatever it’s all just whatever. you’re like “should i do this?” and everyone you know is like “just do whatever” absolutely incredible. that can’t be real
Distorted self image, depersonalisation, disassociation, feelings of emptiness, etc are all symptoms of bpd. It can lead to you struggling with your sense of self. Using Joana watching herself in the mirror and us as the audience seeing her reflection when she has her eyes closed and is facing away from it, as well as showing her POV when it shouldn’t be hers, is a good representation of that. It shows how she doesn’t have a grasp of who she is.
Honestly nobody can convince me that this isn’t Rhysand at the end of acotar / the beginning of acomaf
@ everyone who went through a period of having no friends, who ate alone, who had a point in their life where they were too embarrassed to tell their parents they had no one to play with after school: I love you. I know it hurts and I know it’s hard but it’s not your fault. Things will grow and change. You will find people who you click with and they will love you too. You deserve positive friendship relationships just like anyone else. And if you’re still going through this phase, you’re strong, and things will change for you too. You are not alone, there are people experiencing the same thing you are, find them, you deserve positivity and companionship. Keep your head up.

I am going to go on a rant about Deok Mi’s character so just hold me for a second because I AM SUPER HAPPY with her:
1. THE GIRL IS SUPER SKILLED in her work because she handled the stuff a director should do - and she has like 5 years of work ex as mentioned by RG in the first few eps.
2. Her photography skills are on point.
3. She’s really passionate about everything and really perceptive and this girl doesn’t let me down in any way.Her fangirling, her love for stuff, her friendships…she’s always there for everyone.
4. She’s super helpful and loving and caring and NOT a doormat character - I mean the way she helped Sindy after that girl screwed her life, and she invited her to live at her parent’s house! Also all the time she helped Da Out so much… I can see how well she was raised by her parents. I love the fact that she wins over Sindy by how good she is to her.
5. Super honesty? She came clean about EG the second she had the opportunity to and told RG everything
6. She doesn’t get unreasonably mad about things either - and she’s really good to Ryan, and the general snarkiness with honesty in her character. She is angry at Ryan but she doesn’t stretch misunderstandings.
7. Supporting and comforting - I love the way she knows there is something bothering Ryan and she is like “it is okay, I am there” and doesn’t force him to be honest or anything - she’s just there for him. This is something I love so much. I care, but you can tell me anything at your own pace. How she was there for her friend when shit hit the fan.
8. Girl NEVER SLEPT IN HER COMMUNICATIONS AND INTER PERSONAL SKILLS CLASS! I am really talking to a 30 year old here and I am so happy.
9. She knows how to cheer people up - she acts super bright when she sees anyone’s sad. She handles stuff in the background when she sees Ryan needs a moment to himself, including all the formalities. She knows SJ and Ryan need to be cheered up in different ways and she does so effortlessly.
10. Insecurities - you can see how modest and insecure she is, but immediately charms anyone who she is honest with - the moment Ryan reassured her, she told him everything. This girl is the best thing that has happened to this show, and the best character I have seen. This girl is so real yet so ideal.
11. Straightforwardness - THE GIRL KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS AND GETS IT. Period. She pounced upon the lion when he seduced her and I AM SO IN LOVE WITH HER - she does not hide her feelings for modesty. Oh my god she’s my favorite female lead ever!
At this point, I really need to say that Ryan is an incredibly lucky man.
(I will include more when I watch it with subs)
If I ever have a daughter, give me a daughter like her, thank you.
I love how Eurovision is always a week after the Met Gala so random european singers put every single american celebrity to shame by wearing cooler clothes with 1/10 of the budget
Thanks to this gorgeous character art by Arz28, you can meet the Zumra of WE HUNT THE FLAME (my YA fantasy out 5/14)! Zumra, in Arabic, means squad or gang, which in this case refers to my terrible children who reluctantly forge an alliance.
If you love the art as much as I do, you can submit your WE HUNT THE FLAME pre-order receipt to receive a limited edition character card set! More info here!
From top to bottom:
Zafira Iskandar, protagonist of WE HUNT THE FLAME. She never misses, is a bit too innocent (Altair’s jokes never make sense for some reason?), and feels everything fiercely.
Then our Prince of Death and resident assassin, Nasir Ghameq! Sad, grumpy, hates himself, is sometimes sassy, and secretly loves every single one of Altair’s quips (and also Zafira, but shh).
He’s not sure why he isn’t listed first, but then we have Altair al-Badawi! The sultan’s prized general who is good at everything. Can be sported flirting with anything that moves, drinking qahwa, slicing away with his twin scimitars, or needling Nasir like it’s his sole purpose in life.
Next up, Kifah Darwish, a girl with a thirst for revenge who prefers the power of a blade over the might of the pen. This food lover and elite warrior can usually be seen keeping Altair in his place and making sure no one gets… too optimistic.
Benyamin Haadi! Vain and silver-tongued, this immortal safi (Arawiya’s equivalent of elves) fights with banes and poisons as he tries to make up for a secret in his past. Part of an elite circle of safin, he values trust and truth, hence the word “haqq” tattooed around his eye.
The entire point of Imane’s season is to get the audience to see what a muslim woman of colour sees (the everyday racism and microaggressions), rather than what you as a white viewer might see or, to be more accurate, what you might miss. Questioning Imane’s pov and siding with Ingrid or the comments the girls are making is you quite literally disregarding the purpose of Imane’s season.
Goodnight Tony Stark. You can rest now. With no distractions or anything keeping you up at night. You no longer have to go to sleep in fear of having nightmares. You’re in peace now. Don’t worry, you’ll continue to inspire me everyday. I love you 3000, Iron Man, forever and always.
Can you believe Peter Parker is such a precious little bean that he was immediately adopted by the most badass women in the MCU

“I just wanna be hugging you tonight…”
(1 minute of Skam characters hugging to heal our souls)
*turns brightness on max bc of watching caos*

what. the. fuck. my. eyes.
Miran: No matter how far you’ll go, I will always find you. I’ll hold you whenever you’re about to fall.. just like this, tightly. Reyyan: What if you can’t hold me? What if I fall down? Miran: Then I will jump right behind you. I will fall with you.
i think ppl would be a lot happier and better-adjusted on here if they realized that being online on a website is like being in any other casual public space full of people. if u walk into walmart u dont immediately think to yourself “i have to be friends with everyone in this walmart and if not everyone likes me i’m a failure” and u really shouldn’t feel that way online either. likewise if there’s a guy in the walmart parking lot shouting obscenities u probably wouldn’t answer him and that’s literally an exact equivalent to some of the weird stuff that people on here seem to feel they’re obligated to respond to.
I love hype for books because there’s no trailers, no pictures on grocery store products or brand tie-ins. Just a bunch of people saying things like, “This book DESTROYED me,” “I couldn’t sleep until I finished it,” “this book ensnared my soul with occult enchantments of ink and paper,” “I felt like a hollow shell of tears when I closed it for the last time.”
And more and more people go “Yes, yes, this sounds like exactly what I want.”
why are there so many posts about asexuals being immune to sirens. people. sirens don’t lure you in with sex (necessarily). they sing about whatever it is that you want most. they could sing about mothman or cinnamon toast crunch and guess what then your asexual pirate is fucking dead
I worked with toddlers and pre schoolers for three years. Sometimes I accidentally slip and tell a friend to say bye to an inanimate object (“say bye bus!”) & occasionally they unthinkingly just do it.
to anyone out there who’s struggling with having no friends — wondering where you belong in this world, searching for a place to belong — you matter. you are so important. and you will find your people or maybe just a special person who feels like home. it may seem like your loneliness will last forever, but it won’t. it never does.
