I'm a mother of a 2-year-old child. His name is yousef... I see my son growing up in front of me and I do not know how or when. This is not what I wished for him. I was dreaming of a wonderful life to spend with him...a life not full of death, fear, destruction and deprivation...I wanted to fill his room with toys and his closet with clothes, and I wanted to buy children's books for him, but I couldn't...the war came and the wishes were gone...my goal became to provide him with milk and food. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive and we no longer have income to enable us to buy his needs. Kram eggs have been deprived of many of his basic needs. He has been deprived of safety and stability..No, fruits, or meat.
There is nothing but fear that fills my son's eyes as soon as he hears the voices around him. He does not realize what It happens outside, but he feels and sees it in our eyes when he looks at us.I cannot protect myself and my son. Help me to save my son yousef. He deserves a better life, as do all the children of Gaza and the world. Alone, I cannot, but with your help, we will be able to find a safe place and a better future for my son. KOSA PASSES SENATE 7/30/24
Kosa has unfortunately passed the Senate on a 91-3 vote. I want this to be clear, Itās not going into effect, it still has to get to the House but I believe there will be a break for the month of August which gives us A WHOLE MONTH!! to call your HOUSE representatives and tell them to vote NO on Kosa. Itās not over yet, it barley JUST passed the Senate now because so many people told their senators and representatives that they didnāt want KOSA. We can do it again, PLEASE do not panic and give up!! I know itās scary Iām very scared right now myself but if we go silent thatās how itās going to pass the House and get signed to the president. Letās try to stop that from happening!!!
Call your house representatives!!!!there is more opposition in the House, we can stop it. BLOW UP THEIR PHONES!!

Well, unsurprisingly, KOSA passed the Senate procedural vote 86-1.

Again, they still have to vote on the final passage & the House still has to vote on it as well.
So, focus on your House Representative now; Continue to call them & tell them to vote āNoā to KOSA. Remember: There is more opposition to KOSA in the House.

After seven therapists, four psychiatrists, several antidepressants/other medications, multiple therapy methods, alternative medicines, changes in lifestyle, etc ā¦. Itās become clear that I need special aid in order to have a better quality of life.
At the moment, my mom accompanies me everywhere. When she leaves home, Iām already stretched thin. And although her presence keeps me calm, sheās not very skilled at preventing attacks from happening, or de-escalating them if they do. The constant accompanying is a strain for her, as well.
My hope is that a service dog will provide me with a reliable grounding presence. It can be trained to provide tactiles like body pressure, mouthing, licks. It can smell my triggers, lead me to safe spaces, block a personal space bubble, find help if I need it, and bring me the daily calmness that everyone else enjoys. American law would allow me to bring my service dog to all public spaces, businesses, and during emergencies.
With a service dog, perhaps I can again walk five blocks to the cafe, and use public transport, attend parties and events, manage a full-time job, fly overseas to visit my family, and so much more. I want to get my life going again.
Iām asking for $5,500. A bred puppy (service dogs are trained from a young age, and good breeding is highly recommended) costs around $2,000, the estimated annual cost for a dog is $2,000, and the Owner Trainer Academy is $1,575.

i joined a phighting lobby to grind for the new bivekit skin and somehow ended up in an hours long roleplay where i joined a medkit cult, chased down a subspace who then got his biografts to attack me, begged slingshot for help and he lead to his cafe so biograft could eat the dead bodies in the storage, and then biograft died and i ran to a different bakery and slingshot accidentally lead subspace and biograft (who respawned) straight to me, then biograft became obsessed with taxes, skateboard showed up and snitched on me for telling him that slingshot is stinky, and that lead to a massive skateshot angst hurt/comfort rp, and biograft started attacking me again but banhammer saved me and became my bodyguard, and also subspace banged my boss (scythe) and the whole thing ended with all of us jumping off the bridge
