I love how every time I open Pinterest it’s like getting punched in the face. It’s like they do it on purpose just to hurt me.
My friend needs your feedback!! He runs a website [Lingopie] where you can learn a language by watching TV shows and movies.
As a polyglot, he is super passionate about learning and teaching languages and wants to help students and language learners succeed. He has been working on this project 24/7, so your feedback would make his day! Here is the problem:
His website is still young, so they have limited funds to obtain licenses for movies and television shows. To help as many people as possible, he is wondering what languages you would like to learn or have exams for, so he can focus on expanding the media collection for these languages. I really like him and want his project to succeed, so I created a form where you can vote.
The following languages are available at the moment: Japanese 🇯🇵, Korean 🇰🇷, Spanish 🇪🇸, French 🇫🇷, German 🇩🇪, Italian 🇮🇹, Portuguese 🇵🇹 and English 🇺🇸
Which language are you most interested in? Please vote here!
Once a little boy went to school. One morning The teacher said: “Today we are going to make a picture.” “Good!” thought the little boy. He liked to make all kinds; Lions and tigers, Chickens and cows, Trains and boats; And he took out his box of crayons And began to draw.
But the teacher said, “Wait!” “It is not time to begin!” And she waited until everyone looked ready. “Now,” said the teacher, “We are going to make flowers.” “Good!” thought the little boy, He liked to make beautiful ones With his pink and orange and blue crayons. But the teacher said “Wait!” “And I will show you how.” And it was red, with a green stem. “There,” said the teacher, “Now you may begin.”
The little boy looked at his teacher’s flower Then he looked at his own flower. He liked his flower better than the teacher’s But he did not say this. He just turned his paper over, And made a flower like the teacher’s. It was red, with a green stem.
On another day The teacher said: “Today we are going to make something with clay.” “Good!” thought the little boy; He liked clay. He could make all kinds of things with clay: Snakes and snowmen, Elephants and mice, Cars and trucks And he began to pull and pinch His ball of clay.
But the teacher said, “Wait!” “It is not time to begin!” And she waited until everyone looked ready. “Now,” said the teacher, “We are going to make a dish.” “Good!” thought the little boy, He liked to make dishes. And he began to make some That were all shapes and sizes.
But the teacher said “Wait!” “And I will show you how.” And she showed everyone how to make One deep dish. “There,” said the teacher, “Now you may begin.”
The little boy looked at the teacher’s dish; Then he looked at his own. He liked his better than the teacher’s But he did not say this. He just rolled his clay into a big ball again And made a dish like the teacher’s. It was a deep dish.
And pretty soon The little boy learned to wait, And to watch And to make things just like the teacher. And pretty soon He didn’t make things of his own anymore.
Then it happened That the little boy and his family Moved to another house, In another city, And the little boy Had to go to another school.
The teacher said: “Today we are going to make a picture.” “Good!” thought the little boy. And he waited for the teacher To tell what to do. But the teacher didn’t say anything. She just walked around the room.
When she came to the little boy She asked, “Don’t you want to make a picture?” “Yes,” said the little boy. “What are we going to make?” “I don’t know until you make it,” said the teacher. “How shall I make it?” asked the little boy. “Why, anyway you like,” said the teacher. “And any color?” asked the little boy. “Any color,” said the teacher. And he began to make a red flower with a green stem.
~Helen Buckley, The Little Boy
just some observations + thoughts about this:
Dacre accidentally defaulting to a New Yorker American accent and hand gestures for a few seconds is highly hilarious and the fact that that’s the take they chose to use, i love it.
The iconic “it’s givin me da heebiejeebies”, peep this grandpa, we love that that’s a thing Billy said in canon. It seems like something a bad fanfic writer would make him say BUT NO. He actually said it.
This is one of the only times Billy actually calls Max his sister of his free will and i… 🥺 of course it’s to Steve.
Why do none of the Billy antis realize that this is completely valid thing for Billy to think? Billy has ZERO context as to what’s going on with the Upside Down, no one thought to try to tell him (despite the fact that the Byers house is a mess for a reason and there’s a literal demogorgon chestburster in the fridge that would’ve made it incredibly easy to convince him). From his perspective, it is so weird for this 18 y/o senior to be hanging around alone in this random person’s house with his middle school sister and a bunch of boys. Like i know we’ve been conditioned by this point in season 2 to know that Steve’s a good guy and has no bad intentions with the kiddos, but it’s so obvious why this is weird from Billy’s perspective.
Billy and Max have only lived in Hawkins for 1 WEEK at this point. They start going to Hawkins schools on October 30th and the fight happens November 5th. They just went through a MAJOR cross country move, likely due to traumatic reasons (depending on if you follow Runaway Max, which has since been retconned after Season 3, or the fanon theories, or even none at all, moving so far from somewhere you’ve lived your whole life can be traumatic on its own, not to mention with an abusive parent). In my opinion, he jumped the gun on fighting Steve, but it makes sense after Steve straight up lied to his face without any remorse. It doesn’t make it right, but it makes sense with context and the tiniest amount of thought.
And a random thought that this inspired: BOTH Billy and Max are in high conflict mode at this point with all of these big changes being so recent and i would give my left foot to see them interact a few months down the line. The most we get of this is we see them share a look before Max goes to the Snow Ball, and while Max is still standoffish, Billy looks almost remorseful. By the time Billy is possessed, Max obviously has forgiven Billy to some degree for his anger in this time period and cares for him deeply (by the way she reacts in The Sauna Test and Battle of Starcourt episodes).
What happened in the ~seven months between s2 and s3?? Release the flashbacks, Duffers!! Do the “make Billy’s death actually mean something” challenge or die by my sword.
I recently saw some clips of the movie ToyStory3 and then I saw this!!!!
SINCE WHEN?!? AND HOW?! WHEN EVEN?!???
tell me please...have you known this? if so...since when?
Knock knock!! Reverse trick or treat 🍫
I’m handing out Billy’s candy cigarettes this year :)
Happy spooky season! 🖤🎃👻
OMG Thank you so much!!!
Happy and Spooky Halloween!! 🎃👻🕸️ :D
Omg!! It's soo amazing!! I LOVE it!!

The café was always busiest on Sundays. Couples going for coffee dates, Mom’s bringing their kids out for iced chocolates, college students escaping their apartments and study schedules. Ryan adored the place. It was simple, sweet and filled with good vibes. He didn’t care how busy it was, there was never a time where it felt claustrophobic or uncomfortable. Tables and booths were filled with locals, yet no one felt out of place or too crowded.
That’s how it worked.
“Luke!” The familiar barista called out a familiar name. Ryan’s roommate, Craig, had worked at the café for all four years they’d been living together. They earnt money from very different professions but got along all the same.
The familiar name belonged to a man Ryan didn’t exactly know but one he definitely wanted to know. He was someone the brunette had been aware of for over a month on his café visits. The man sipping a black coffee, either on his phone or just staring out a window. Ryan had to remind himself not to outright stare every time he was in the same building.
The man was Godly. He was probably the most attractive guy Ryan had set his eyes on, and everything he did was undeniably hot. Ryan spent his coffee runs ignoring Craig’s suggestive looks and trying to seem busy on his phone, instead of staring at Luke.

Kizu: She is my creativity! Her name is a reference to my account name 'Magical*KIZU*ne', since she is the origin of my ideas for any art pieces. Kizu is also, mostly, my anxiety, since I'm an anxious mess. Every of my sides is to some extent anxiety and she just got the most of it. Kizu is friendly, has the most wild ideas and is a bit overprotective...like a big sister. She's always right there, when an attack is coming up, trying to distract me or calm me down. The thing with her is, she builds up walls around her, but is trying to be polite, wile blocking others out. But sometimes she can be really, REALLY, too overprotective and if the tiniest thing might go wrong, she's the first to call it off and blaming her for that. Her room is an art studio, literally. Everywere you look, traditional art on canvases and/or papers, but also digital-art posters. But Kizu also has a 'sleeping' room, in which she likes to go, to do...stuff...I don't want to mention it...you'll see... "You're right, there will always be a tomorrow. But the question is, will it be better? Is it really worth it?" -Kizu
