I know what they wrote on the facebook but realistically speaking this is nothing to even consider. Considering there's no way they'd make separate versions of the lore for each server, and our server is in no way the most important one to them, there's only four real options, of which I'll write in order from most to least likely.

1. This is just a ploy to drum up page activity by getting people to debate. They've done this kind of stuff before so it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

2. They've planned this character's "end" for awhile now and are only bringing it up now to make us think our choices have consequences.

3. They'd make the decision based off of the chinese server's results. Considering they're the main and farthest along server, if this were true this would be most likely. In which case anyone who doesn't want the dawn wings characters to die doesnt have to worry; the night order rarely ever wins on any server other than ours.

4. They'd make an average of the results from every server and use that. This is least likely but again, you wouldn't have to worry because our server is really the only one where the night order consistently wins.

So basically what I'm saying is; nothing's happening to anyone that we have any real effect on.

Okay so I am really disappointed with how the dawn front event went down. I am not „horny“ for shade and i find it dumb that salty players reduce us to that. You’re freaking ace and I’m on the spectrum too. We’re not salting about people for picking their queen kimi either jeez. Let people allow to pick characters they want, its not hard.

Like I'm sure there are some people who picked Flynn bc "he's hot" to them-and don't get me wrong that's perfectly fine-but just assuming that's the only reason anyone would ever pick said character is just honestly kind of rude to everyone who chose him. As if he doesn't have his own story, personality, motivations, etc. that might make him an appealing choice to players. No he's just an edgy uwu animu boi fangirl bait design right?

Thing is we're only having this discussion because we won. If the majority of night order players flocked to Shade but the dawn wings ended up winning no one would give two shits about who chose Flynn or why. Lemme tell y'all something. I chose Flynn because as an aspiring author I found all of the good guys boring and stealth has always been my shit. Yes all of them. Louie is barely a character as of right now, Orlando is fine but he's so typical morally just man in a suit. Kimi is overrated imo and don't even get me started on Bai Yongxi. I know we have a dreamweaver for this guy but I still feel like I've never met him before. So then, what about the night order? We barely know Reid and the guy he teamed up with so that choice was out for me, and Nidhogg's abrasive personality just wasn't doin it for me personally.

Who does that leave? Flynn. Shade. The secret weapon. The assassin with two names.

Ever since I was young I've always found sharpshooters, assassins, ninjas-basically anyone who could outsmart their opponent with not only tactics but agility and speed-cool. I'm a small girl and I was never very strong, so that kind of thing was the kind of stuff I idolized-and part of what lead me to develop my aesthetic the way I did. THAT's why I picked Flynn. It was my personal opinion and preference.

Do I expect anyone to know that? Of course not. Only my close friends know about my childhood. However, I'm not the only person who picks characters based on things other than "how hot I find them," clearly. I'll admit, Flynn's character design is aesthetically pleasing to an edgelord like myself. But if that was the only reason, I'd just go with anyone who remotely resembled that sort of style.

Not to mention the psychological aspects of it all. Morally grey characters are always more interesting from a psychological standpoint, as they present as more human-more relatable to the average person.

I'm getting a little bit off topic but my point is that there's more than one reason Shade won the war. Something else I need to mention is the pre-war salt.

All over the facebook, amino, reddit, etc. before we even got the event implemented were people salting about losing last time and making passive aggressive comments about how they'd lose to " Shade's thirst army" again. Now I had already made up my mind to choose him again, but think for a second about how a new player would feel seeing all that. Do you really think new players would want to join a team full of passive aggressive people who can't let the fact that their fave lost essentially a fictional popularity contest go after a full year? Because I sure as hell wouldn't. That's an extremely unwelcoming environment right there.

So what do I have left to cover? The morality speeches? Yeahh.....

So listen. I saw this mostly on the facebook, but I'll mention it here.

Fiction and real life are two separate things. People are allowed to like problematic charas so long as they understand that said chara is in fact problematic. Supporting a character who's done morally wrong things does not mean said person supports said morally wrong things. If you sit there and try to guilt trip people who just wanted to pick their favorite character in a fictional event that effects nothing ever because they like a specific character and tell them that means they support murder or whatever, I'm sorry but you need to go back to elementary school or something because that's not how anything has worked in the history of things working.

Now with all this said I want to stress that not everyone is like this of course. There are people who remained silent. There are people who know how to make jokes about their loss, and I thank those of you who have done so-you're bridging the gap, my friends. Of course I don't believe everyone is like this. But the sheer amount of people degrading others and belittling them because of a character preference both pre and post event is astounding.

In the end this whole event was basically just a popularity contest. And you know what I see? I see people who can't handle that not everyone shared their character preferences. I see people who don't understand that just because someone favors one character over another doesn't mean they automatically hate the other character. I see people who are so petty that they'll go out of their way to make excuses as to why they lost. Yeah, it was a population imbalance. But you know what? That's just how it happened. If the population imbalance had favored Kimi, or Orlando, or Bai, or Louie, would we be seeing this level of garbage? No. This event effects nothing. Not the story, not real life, nothing.

But you know what does? Unbearable amounts of salty people pointing fingers and yelling "thirst" to the point where I've started to wonder why I got involved in this godforsaken community in the first place. Let people enjoy their dressup game, ya watery salt cubes. You'll get another chance next time around, and I'm just saying-maybe you'd do better if you focused a bit less on yelling about how it's other people's fault you lost. Yea, losing sucks. But in order for there to be a winner, someone has to lose. That's how competitions work.

I feel like I had more points but I'm just so done with this garbage. Whatever. Point is let people like the characters they like instead of getting salty that everyone doesn't worship Kimi as much as you do. It's not that deep.

I'm done here. This stupid. Sorry to anyone who isn't contributing to this who had to see this. I appreciate you. So much. Oh and by the way, I have nothing against Kimi stans, so long as y'all don't do this kinda shit. Everyone has the right to have whatever character be their favorite no matter which one it is.

Peachy & Dr. Gray Raven/Crow Relationship The 6th Clinic in a building in a dark alleyway on the island of Ruin. It only operates in the cover of night; this is because the clients find it more idyllic to arrive at this time. Girls from all over Miraland come to the clinic in the daytime to see a glimpse of the handsome Dr. Gray Raven, Peachy sends them off by doing stylist battles with them, because the fangirls are from all over Miraland, Peachy gets to learn a lot of different styles & fashion. Peachy is immortally 18 years old thanks to the Doctor. Peachy helps out by being his assistant, she doesn’t need to sleep or rest much but the Doctor often tells her to. She doesn’t have many clothes other than her uniform so loses in battles but likes Lolita type clothing the best & collects them with the small salary she earns from the Doctor. Peachy makes the Doctor his coffee & at first made it black. He drank it but she noticed his eyebrows would frown. She made a cup with two sugar cubes & he said it was delicious, from this Peachy realised the Doctor has a sweet tooth. This is a fact she will never share to anyone - especially the fangirls! Peachy was abandoned at 8 years old by her parents on the border between North & Apple. She was with a group of orphaned kids when she was being beaten up by an older person, on the brink of death, the Doctor saved her. Peachy thought he was the God of Death because of his white hair. She has no other memories of her childhood. Peachy wonders what will happen to the state of the clinic when the Doctors sister’s illness is healed. The Doctor had a sister. His sister had become ill when she was 5. One night, he heard his parents whispering & crying that his sister would not live past the age of 18. His sister had an incurable disease that the medical knowledge could not heal. He vowed that day to find a place with advanced technology & find a cure. He was in his 3rd year of high school when his sister was in her 1st year. 6 Months into their studies, she collapsed & realised about her disease, which everyone had hid from her. On the day he was accepted into Medical School in Lilith, he vowed to his sister that her illness would be cured & they would celebrate her 19th Birthday. Sadly she died just before her 18th. With the knowledge he had obtained, he put his sisters body in a state of on-going sleep, their parents do not know about this as they have lost contact after the sister’s death. He states that he needs more souls to cure his sister. Peachy states that although she has worked in the clinic for a long time, she doesn’t know what is in all the rooms. It’s strongly implied that the Doctors, little sister’s body is stored in the basement of the clinic. The Doctor likes the smile of Peachy as she has the same innocent smile & laughter of his late sister. Before Peachy even arrived at the clinic, Doctor had the skeleton of Subject No.7 in his room. This is the skeleton of his childhood friend named Vickers. Vickers went to University to study design when the Doctor went to study medicine. He didn’t know that the ‘Demon Doctor’ was actually his childhood friend. When Vickers visited the 6th clinic, he was dying of an illness; he told the Doctor that he wanted to exchange his soul in return for a great design idea. He did end up designing a great work piece, but died before he could finish it. The Doctor took out his heart to preserve Vickers soul & wishes to revive him when he is able to complete his final design.

4. Who is your favorite character in the chapters?

So the funny thing is I both do and don't have an answer for this lol. Knowing everything I do from events and chapters and dreamweavers and all, I'd pick Flynn. I am weak for characters like that. Based only on chapters though, I don't know for sure really. Bobo has a sharp tongue and causes a lot of funny moments, as well as having an interesting role in the later chapters, Ace has a great design and is obviously smart, and Kaja is just a mood. Hard choice.

5. Which chapter is/was most difficult?

Uhhh god I don't really remember how I did on most of them, just that I did it. Only problems I even remember having are the story related thing in chapter fifteen (which was a coded thing) and chapter 9-2 princess with that f r e a k i n g suit requirement. So I guess I'd go with 9 because that was annoying to run into earlier on in the game.

15. What suit from the other servers are you dying for them to add?

I. Want. Me. My. Wasteland. Lifetime. Suit.

No but seriously it's so gorgeous, I can't wait. Other than that, I think I'm just playing "wait and see" because I can be rather picky with my tastes in suits sometimes and I haven't really seen very many that pique my interest.

I was thinking about this post earlier and I realized I left a part out I was originally gonna include but forgot involving the barbie collab suit.

The thing is, naturally after seeing this, one would wonder why they didn't do that for the Barbie collab suit, instead of giving us a copycat skin, but I actually have a few answers.

First of all, as a hobbyist game dev myself, I can tell you that a game dev won't know the full capabilities of their system, unless they test a bunch of random things out, and even then it's unlikely to know the full capabilities. So it's very likely that until recently they didn't even know they could do that.

So then why didn't they try it out for the Barbie collab? Simply because since it was a paid collaboration with something as huge as BARBIE, that wouldn't be the best time to try new things. They had a product to deliver and definitely wouldn't want an event suit that important to have major bugs or issues, so best to play it safe. Not to mention they most likely had a time constraint considering it was, in fact, a paid collaboration.

So, why not try it earlier? Time. We've had quite a few new things come to us recently, as well as bug fixes and the likes, so they were undoubtedly kept busy with that. Not to mention something like this would require thorough testing before being released as a feature, so that would require time as well.

So why was this a complication in the first place? The game wasn't originally built to have multiple skin tones, as the original Miracle Nikki server was launched without them. Skin tones weren't a thing that was introduced until after the english server was launched, and english players began to ask for them. They came for free alongside an old streetwear event and a free suit (youth storm). So the original game's code wasn't even built to handle more than one skin tone, much less default poses for them. The skin tones that came with these suits were, of course, coded as such, and we've never really had a need for items coded as part of multiple suits before, up until recently, when people began to ask for dark skin exclusive suits.

TL:DR; The devs had probably never messed with the possibility of an item being part of more than one suit before and more than likely only tested the possibility recently due to having the time to do so.

So yeah, I just wanted to add this because it's been rolling around in my head all day. I am in no way usually on the dev's side, but I can see why this might have happened this way.

The new wasteland pavilion event piqued my interest until I found out it was, in fact, a pavilion event. Then I was sad. But now I'm slightly interested again because they did something that I thought they couldn't do because of the way the game was coded

They managed to make warm ray part of two suits simultaneously.

That might not seem important, until you realize that this means they can have true dark skin exclusive suits, which I've seen many players asking for, without giving us copycat skin tones in order to make the default pose in the gallery not look kinda really terrible

So honestly? I may be disappointed with the price, and I won't finish it when I could finish evernight instead, but like, good on the devs for finding new ways to make our server happy despite the many various demands I see. I hope they keep this trend up in the future, though preferrably with less hell spam. What's up with all the hells lately this is getting out of hand
