Au where Eugene stumbles upon the tower when they’re both a lot younger. Eugene is only a little hoodlum at this point, just starting his Flynn Rider legacy, and Rapunzel is still a child with full faith in her mothers words and no teen antsy-ness. Despite befriending Eugene, she refuses to leave the tower, so instead he visits her when Gothel is away and he brings her little gifts he thinks she’d like (that he stole because he’s an urchin)

Hello, Tangled the Series Fans!

   We are Project OBSIDIAN (PO), a group fan-project working on expanding Varian’s story. We are creating a Varian-centric fan comic to explore questions not addressed in the series, starting with season 1 and running until the end of season 3. Our plan is to take concepts and work with ideas that fit in-canon to explore his character to its fullest degree.      We will be breaking the project into episodes or chapters, each being a maximum of 24 pages in length as well as short 9 panel strips. Our primary mission of this project is to allow Tangled the Series fans to have a voice in this character and to have fun with helping him grow to his fullest potential!       OCs may be included as cameos, and AUs may be explored where applicable, whether that be through dreams, visions, or thoughts. Any ideas brought forth are reviewed by everyone on the project, and all feedback is appreciated!   Thank you for reading this far!  We look forward to working with you all in the future! Went ahead and did the other two to go with the Island Dress; I thought the Nightgown would have made for a better magical girl design, but ironically I feel like the Season 3 dress ended up being way better.

I did nix a few details either because I’m not a fan of them to begin with or because I didn’t want the outfits to be too busy. I was tempted to put another sheer layer over the nightgown one, but opted to leave it as just the sleeves.

Can I give a huge high five and a hug to the Varian fans?

My closest friends in this fandom are Varian fans and I know how much y'all miss him and what you have all been through. Though I am mainly a New Dream and Eugene fan, I also consider myself a very big fan of Varian and this wait hasn't been that easy for me. And i know its been way harder for you guys. You have been waiting over a year and have gotten absolutely nothing, and a lot of you guys have gone through so much hate over the past year, and that a lot of your theories or opinions aren't taken very seriously. I'm so proud of the Varian fans who stayed in the fandom despite any hate you have gotten and didn't retaliate or give back any hate you have gotten from people and kept loving the character you love despite all the dumb fandom drama. You are valid, you are allowed to watch the show how you want, enjoy the characters you enjoy. And I hope that on October 7th, that you guys watch the new season premiere and get to see him and think the wait was all worth it! Cause heck I am excited to see him again and I already know I'm gonna scream and freak out when he comes back, and I know y'all love him even more then I do! I miss that lil stinker and he means a lot to me because I've made so many friends because of him and I love the Varian fans.

I'm very proud of you all!!! And I'm glad to tell you that there is an end in sight.
