Why the fuck am I UP?! ?!?!

It's too early 🥺 I need Baku cuddles.

Clinging to him as he's trying to leave. He listens to your little whines as he pulls you closer. Watching you right sleep as you curl into his chest, his winter uniform is toasty and makes it that much easier for you to fall asleep standing up.

"I've gotta go kitten." His gloved hands follow your spine and you look up at him with sad eyes. He gives you a soft kiss and a squeeze but you bury your face again. Another whine, another few minutes of you drifting while standing as you put all your weight on him. He sighs, you're making it so hard to leave. He knows you just want a few extra minutes with him and he feels so guilty he can't give them to you. Not to mention he wants this too.

It happens two more times, of a kiss, a squeeze and telling you he needs to go. Until he scoops you up pressing soft kisses to your hair and cheeks as he walks you to the bed room. Nestling you in the bed, where he said good bye earlier, and pulling the comforter over your shoulders. He leans over.

"It's too early and far too cold for you to be up yet." He says softly, kissing your cheek as he keeps his gloved fingers intertwined with yours, "I gotta wake the sun up for you..."

You give sad puppy dog eyes one more time before his other hand starts to stroke your hair sending you into a deep, deep sleep. He sighs as your fingers lose their grip on his, leaning over one last time to press a kiss to your temple.

"I'll see ya later baby." Feather soft as he adds, "I love you so god damn much."

nah, ive got several types that i like (this list probably won't be comprehensive)

cold, calculating yans. they seem so cool and composed, particularly towards anyone but their darling. but around their darling, their composure slips a little. they become just a little warmer, a little more desperate...they're very good at hiding just how much of a simp they are

tough guy yans. they seem all cool and uncaring, rough and mean...but they're soft for their darling. in public they keep up the uncaring facade, but they will pummel any rivals into dust

the silent, off-putting yans. they don't speak much (or at all), and their presence is often incredibly uncomfortable for their darling. these yans are one of the ones most prone to stalking. while they act docile for their darling, any potential threat is dealt with swiftly and brutally

soft, sweet yan who only wants what's best for their darling. is a huge sweetheart to their darling, but stars help whoever tries to get in the way. can keep up that sweet mask around their loved ones and friends, but there's a ton of bitterness underneath for any potential rivals

best friend yans. they've been beside their darling for years, they're the confidant, the rock, the shoulder to cry on. they feel as though they are the closest to their darling, and no one could ever come between them. they fully plan on marrying their darling someday

katsuki loves you. from the bottom of his heart, he does. he loves how you help so many people, even without realizing it. he loves the way you're so unbelievably contagious, cheering up your friends when they're not feeling their best selves. and he feels so fuckin' grateful that you chose him to share your existence with.

you save so many people. you tell them to take care of themselves. you listen, and lend a hand to those in need when they need it most.

but what katsuki can't stand - what he fuckin' hates seeing the most - is you refusing to lend yourself that helping hand.

you don't hesitate to take care of anyone... so why is it so hard for you to take care of yourself?

you think you hide it well; you think nobody can see that you're truly, silently suffering. but none of this is fooling him. he's too perceptive for that. he catches you one night, completely offguard while you're crying.

katsuki's quick to envelop you in the tightest of hugs. his fingers, gently thread through your hair. he shoves your face into the crook of his neck, and there's absolutely no way you can escape his embrace now. no way you can possibly hide from him. and before he speaks, with the softest voice you've ever heard, he kisses your temple, tenderly like lovers do. like they should do.

"let me help you," he says, feeling your poor body shaking in his arms. "i want to take care of you."

you haven't heard kinder words in such a long, long time, it's powerful enough to shake you out of your sobbing and leaves you ultimately frozen.

"please," he pleads. and katsuki never says 'please.' "teach me how to love you. let me save you when you can't. and don't give me that, 'i'll be fine,' bullshit."

he pulls back to look you in the eye, his forehead pressing flush to yours. nose to nose.

"don't you fuckin' get it? you're all i have," his voice, so used to commanding with confidence and barking orders, croaks underneath hidden pressure, and cracks.

"you're the most important person in my life, dumbass," his throat bobs as he swallows. "and i don't ever wanna lose you."

bakugou who has a crush on you and cares about you in a subtle yet aggressive way... *deep inhale*

bakugou who quietly - and casually - invites himself into your room, carrying your favourite flavour of cup noodles in one hand, and spicy ramen for himself in another. both hot and steaming with freshly boiled water for the hearty broth

you're so busy with your work that you don't even notice his arrival; so busy that you can't help but jump when he breaks the silence with a gruff, yet gentle, "oi dumbass, have you eaten anything today?"

and when you try to remember - what was the last thing you ate? - he shakes his head and sets the food before you can even come up with an answer

"thought so. here. eat up. i wanna make sure you get something in your damn stomach. i'm not leaving until you do"

you open your mouth to object, but bakugou has always been quicker

"how is that you remember to tell everyone to take care of themselves, but you forget to do just that, huh?" he sits down on your bed and pats the spot beside him, getting comfy like he owns the place. like he owns your room

you glare at him for interrupting, and all bakugou does is glare at you right back. but you know from personal experience, that bakugou is quite possibly the most stubborn, hardheaded blond that you've ever met, and that arguing with him would be pointless

your stomach gurgles the very next moment - almost with comedic timing - and this doesn't go unnoticed by him. those ruby red eyes of katsuki's harden, so you swallow your pride and abandon your work for now. he somehow knew you desperately needed a break anyways

you both sit in relative silence, but the silence is comforting and calm. the kind where you can enjoy each others presence without having the need to say anything

until you accidentally grab the wrong cup and the sudden harshness of excessive spice hits your tongue, annihilating your poor tastebuds

and what does katsuki do when you make a face? god, he laughs. but it isn't anywhere near condescending. it's boisterous and loud and full of emotion. you playfully swat at his bicep and he snickers, finally reaching for the glass of water you keep on your bedside table

he gives you the right noodles, only after he's done teasing you, and it's only then is he satisfied when he knows you have something settling in the pit of your belly

you don't notice it; the way he looks at you when you're not looking - yet - but his body warms up in a way he's never felt before when he's beside you. making sure you're alright. taking care of you

he's content with making his home here, even if he has to keep his true feelings to himself for fear of you pushing him away

because no matter how painfully his heart longs for you - beats for you - bleeds for you - katsuki's okay with this; subtly yet aggressively pining after you from afar

My Favorite Character Dynamics

Oni Kirishima finding small dragon Bakugo

Bakugo in smol dragon form trying to stand on his hind legs to be tall but he barely reaches Kirishima's ankles.

Bakugo is also very bitey when small and constantly latches onto Kirishima's claws when the oni tries to pet him. It only tickles the oni.

After slowly earning Bakugo's trust (and also feeding him the best pieces of meat and praising him) the dragon doesn't stray too far from the Oni when they travel.

During the day Bakugo likes to show off his flying skills, how quick he is to reach a tree before the oni.

A fiesty and competitive thing he is.

But Kirishima humors him, throwing him a piece of jerky as a reward for another win.

When Bakugo's wings gets tired, Kirishima offers him to perch on the oni’s shoulders. The dragon scoffs and lands on Kirishima’s head, curling his tail around one of the oni’s horns for balance.

The dragon sits up with a smug grin.

Now he’s the tallest!

Oni’s are not morning creatures but dragons apparently are. Bakugo loves to wake Kirishima up by head butting him in the face, chittering as if scolding him that he’s wasting daylight.

“Bakugo no, it’s too early, let me sleep.”

*Bakugo head butts him again*

“Sleep.” Kirishima grunts as he rolls over to turn his back on the dragon.

Bakugo does not like to be ignored.

Usually Bakugo would be petty enough to bark out a small flame to set something of Kiri’s on fire.

Other times he just wants attention. So he will keep head butting Kirishima until the oni gets annoyed enough to grab the dragon and cuddle him to his chest so he doesn’t move.

Victory.

Kirishima can still remember fondly the first few nights of camping, the small dragon would curl himself into a ball in the center of the fire, watching him warily. Hissing if Kirishima made any sudden movements.

One night when he was polishing his club and checking for cracks he could hear movement from the fire. He kept his eyes focused on his weapon but his ears trained on the quiet scuttle of claws against the ground that was steadily moving closer to him.

A few moments later he felt Bakugo slowly rub the side of his small body against his thigh. Only then does he lower his gaze to meet the dragon.

“Hello Bakugo, did you want something?”

Bakugo huffs, looking at the club resting in Kirishima’s lap back to Kirishima.

In the next moment Bakugo crawls over Kirishima’s lap and swipes the club off of Kirishima’s lap so he could circle around a few times to settle in its place looking comfy and smug. The oni snorts.

“You could have just asked you tiny terror.”
