Kurogiri: "Sometimes I wonder if I'd be cursed to sit with kids even as Oboro."
Aizawa: "You probably wouldn't be allowed near kids as Oboro."
Kurogiri: "But Hizashi is. Daily."
Aizawa: "... TouchƩ."

I honestly love how every comic artist draws Zorglub ā from Franquin all the way to my personal fave, Munuera. But hereās the thing: if you put a book on Yoannās version of Zorglub, it would stay put. He draws his head a bit more flattened on top. With Franquin, you donāt really notice that kind of stuff ā his version has more of a cartoony, āGargamelā vibe going on. At least thatās how it seems to me.
Anyway, I did pretty well in anatomy class, so I couldnāt help but start imagining what Yoannās Zorglubās skull might look like.
I decided to draw a little visual reference based on differences between Munueraās and Yoannās takes on Zorglub in the comics. And yes ā I had to balance a book on his head for the sake of clarity. All purely for educational purposes⦠and with Zorglubās personal blessing, obviously! š
better put PacƓme behind that if I'm being honest

HAPPY BDAY TO OUR FAVOURITE EXPLODOBOY!!! PRO HERO DYNAMIGHT!!!!
Happy Birthday Katsuki!!! š„š
Everyone talks about Deku fanboying over All Might, about Koichi, but can we talk about Cementoss? The man is a stoic, stone-faced pro hero who cares about his students like crazy, but according to the wiki, heās also a huge All Might fan.
Now imagine this:
It all starts one quiet lunch break.
Cementoss walks by Deku, notices him sketching. Most teachers would assume itās homework or strategy notes. But Cementoss pauses, tilts his head, and goes:
"Is that the limited-edition All Might Golden Age suit design?"
Deku nearly ascends. āY-You KNOW about that?!ā
From that day forward, an alliance is formed. The Secret All Might Fan Club⢠is born. Itās just the two of them (+maybe Koichi when they finally get a crossover movie). It's sacred.
The Merch Hunt begins.
Cementoss corners Deku one day like a man on a mission:
"Midoriya. There's a website auctioning the «Victory Pose» All Might figure. Only 100 were made. I need your expertise."
They spend the next hour zooming in on grainy photos like CSI: Fanboy Edition.
"See that paint detail? That's real. But the cape texture⦠looks like a bootleg."
"Exactly! Probably done by the same people that are selling the bootleg «First Sports Festival» All Might figure..."
Midnight passes by, sees them huddled over a laptop like cult members. Says nothing. Keeps walking.
Cementoss has a hidden display case in the teacherās lounge. Looks like a normal bookshelf. But one tap on the right panel ā click ā it opens.
A shrine. A literal shrine of All Might memorabilia.
Deku: "Sensei⦠this is beautiful."
Cementoss, solemnly: "Only those who truly believe may witness it."
Heās got everything: rare figurines, signed posters, a piece of debris All Might lifted in battle ("Acquired through legal means", he insists), and even an All Might-themed teacup.
They sip tea and debate All Mightās top 5 fights like it's an academic thesis.
Cementoss is a lowkey All Might mega fan and Deku finally found someone who gets it. They are the chaotic good fanboy duo we never knew we needed.
And honestly, who wouldn't fanboy over All Might? To me, he's honestly the best character in MHA. But that's probably for another post.
AMAZING
Spirou x Arcane crossover is here!
Zorglub as Silco, Zandra as Jinx, PacƓme as Vander.
Spirou and Fantasio will be soon...
didn't know they have sharingans in Vigilantes
obligatory reposting my bestie
While Iām working on a big Spirou crossover ā which is why I havenāt posted anything for about a week ā I thought Iād share the story of how I first discovered Zorglub.
Actually, Zorglub isn't a new character to me. Many of my followers might think that my hyperfixation on him started this spring, but that's not the case at all. The first drawing of Zorglub dates back to February 28, 2018. I was in my second year at a linguistics college at the time, so I dreamed of one day learning French and reading comics with him in the original language. I had seen the Spirou & Fantasio cartoon on the āCarouselā russian channel back when I was still in school.
Officially, you could say Iāve known Zorglub for seven years, and this year I decided to return to the character now that my drawing skills have improved.
On my Telegram channel, I share the process behind my works ā sketches, lineart, personal thoughts ā so thereās a lot more content there, including previews of future pieces. If you're interested and understand Russian, feel free to support me by subscribing.
Just needed to solidify my rant, absolute apologizes if this theme is oversaturated, but I needed to speak up because I remembered the absolute idiocy that Naruto's ending is.
Let's be real.
Kaguya's arrival is the WORST plot twist of Naruto.
It was all about ninja, philosophy, and the cycle of hatred, and then out of nowhere ā aliens. It felt like Kishimoto suddenly realized he needed a "bigger" final boss but had already made Madara too OP, so he just threw in Kaguya as a "gotcha" moment.
Madara had decades of build-up. He represented everything wrong with the shinobi system: the endless wars, the obsession with power, the never-ending cycle of revenge. He was literally the final test of Naruto's ideology. And then ā nope, just kidding! Black Zetsu was using him as a pawn for literally thousands of years to revive Kaguya, who has no real personal motivation beyond "mY cHaKrA."
Kaguya wasn't even interesting. She barely spoke, had no personal connection to the main cast, and her fights were just "teleport to a new dimension, spam crazy jutsu, repeat." At least Madara made his fights fun.
Honestly, it wouldāve been way more satisfying if Madara had fused with the God Tree or something and he was the final boss. But nope, aliens.
This is so pointless...
Like imagine the perfect ending of Naruto.
Imagine Madara lying there, defeated but not in some cheap "backstabbed by Zetsu" way ā truly defeated in battle. Heās staring up at the sky, battered, his legendary power finally failing him. And in those last moments, as he reflects on everything ā the wars, the betrayals, the endless cycle of hatred ā he whispers:
"Hashirama⦠was I wrong⦠after all?..."
And just as he fades, he sees Hashiramaās ghost (not literally, but like a vision in his mind) smiling at him, as if saying, "You finally understand."
That single line wouldāve hit so hard. It wouldnāt erase all the pain he caused, but it would humanize him even more. It would show that, at the very end, he finally questions if his way was right. Not some alienās pawn. Not some chakra puppet. Just a man who tried, failed, and wondered if there was another way.
THAT is how you close Madaraās story. Not by having him get played by Black Zetsu like an absolute clown
Madara fades away, his vision going black⦠and then, he opens his eyes. Heās standing in a vast, peaceful meadow ā the same place where he and Hashirama used to meet as kids. The river flows quietly, the trees rustle in the breeze. Itās eerily silent.
And then, standing there, arms crossed, a familiar voice:
"Took you long enough, you stubborn fool."
Madara turns, and thereās Hashirama, just watching him. Not angry. Not smug. Just⦠there. Waiting.
Madara, for the first time in forever, feels small. He clenches his fists, looks away, then ā gritting his teeth ā mutters:
"I really was a fool, huh?"
Hashirama sighs, stepping closer. "You always were. But you were my friend first."
For a moment, they just stand there, the weight of their entire lives hanging in the air. And thenāHashirama smirks.
"So⦠rematch?"
Madara blinks, then lets out a genuine laugh. A real, deep laugh, the kind he hasnāt had in decades. He rolls his shoulders, a spark of life returning to his eyes.
"Hah! Youād better not hold back this time, Hashirama."
The two charge at each other one last time, not as enemies, not as warriors ā just as two boys who once dreamed of peace.
THAT shouldāve been Madaraās ending.
not a single thought behind these eyes

Hawks: "Yo, Tokoyami. Did you know birds are technically dinosaurs?"
Tokoyami: "Yes."
Hawks: "That means I'm basically a prehistoric beast of the skies."
Tokoyami: "I fail to see your point."
Hawks: "Which makes you my apprentice in the ways of ancient aerial combat."
Tokoyami: "Hawks."
Hawks: "Call me Raptor-Sensei."
Tokoyami: "...No."

Mr. Compress once tried to teach Toga sleight of hand because she once saw him shuffling cards and was awed.
But when he did...
"Now, young lady, the art of sleight of hand is about finesse, deception, and most importantly ā subtlety."
"Oooh, like sneaking up on someone and slicing their throat?"
"...Not exactly what I was going for, but sure, letās work with that. Now, observeā"
He pulls a playing card from his sleeve, makes it "disappear", and then dramatically pulls it from behind Togaās ear.
She claps excitedly. "Do it again! But, like, with a knife!"
"No knives, Toga."
"...Okay, okay, no knives." pulls out a scalpel
"Toga."
His next attempt...
"The key to all magic is misdirection. You draw their attention elsewhereā"
Toga nods. Then, mid-sentence, she throws a knife at Dabi. (It misses, but only because he moves at the last second.)
Dabi: "WHAT THE HELL, TOGA?!"
Toga: giggles "Misdirection!"
Mr Compress: "... Toga."
He gives up.
Toga is thrilled and believes she has mastered sleight of hand.
Dabi is never sitting next to them again.
Twice is the only one genuinely impressed and starts calling Toga "The Murder Magician".
Compress refuses to acknowledge this atrocity as magic.

Alright, Iāve never shared the backstory of my comic idea with Rantanplan anywhere, but the time has come.
I came up with the idea of creating my own AU featuring Zorglub and Champignac, with the addition of Rantanplan from Lucky Luke.
In my universe, Zorglub and Count Champignac are very close, living together in the same mansion, and Zandra has to put up with both of them. Rantanplan joined them after the events of this comic ā behind the scenes, Zandra was the one who forced them to take the dog in, and the kind-hearted Champignac allowed him to stay.
If you might have missed it ā https://www.tumblr.com/doclocked/778697748875755520/rantanplan-zorglub-the-prodigal-dog?source=share.
And so, the four of them live together.
The third sketch is a parody of Cruella from 101 Dalmatians. Maybe I'll refine one of the sketches ā this one has a high chance.
he's a good dog. promise
Rantanplan & Zorglub ā The Prodigal Dog.
It's actually insane how my brain reacted to Rody and Deku's interactions
Like
The MOMENT THEY MET
My brain was like "OHHH THEY GOTTA BE SHIPPED"
I'M NOT JOKING WHEN I'M TELLING YOU THAT I STARTED GOOGLING RODYDEKU EVEN BEFORE THE FIRST SCENE BETWEEN THEM ENDED
I DIDN'T CARE THAT I'M GONNA GET SPOILERS I DIDN'T LOOK BACK FOR AN INSTANT
That was the gayest shit EVER
And ME? I'M A BKDK AND IZUOCHA ENJOYER
But that movie gave me a new reason to live.
And I'm never gonna recover. This is my lifelong obsession now.

So imagine if Aizawa and Present Mic do manage to pull Oboro Shirakumo out of Kurogiri. Heās back, his memories, his personality, everything. Same old Oboro, the one they knew. But something isnāt right.
Because thereās still a part of him for whatever reason, a deeply ingrained part, that is fiercely, unshakably loyal to... Tomura Shigaraki.
Like, just imagine him saying, after all the effort, at some point... "Tomura Shigaraki must be protected. That is my goal."
And Aizawa and Mic tried to, like, get him out of it, they really did, but no matter how much they tried to talk him out of it, no matter how much they try to reason with him, his brain just... shuts off. Remember that scene of their first interrogation of Kurogiri? And his brain activity went blank. Yeah, that kind of shuts off.
Not like heās ignoring them. Not like heās upset. But completely, biologically off. No brain activity. Zero. For two hours, more or less. The number differs each time, and they just stopped trying.
They said, they really tried to tell him that "Youāre not Kurogiri anymore", and suddenly, heās gone. Like someone just flipped a switch.
And when he comes back? He has no idea what happened.
This isnāt just brainwashing. This is something worse.
This is rewiring. This is deep-rooted conditioning. This is proof that All For One knew this might happen. Maybe not to Oboro, maybe he didn't think that far, but to Kurogiri? Yes. And so when he was created, that was placed deep into his consciousness.
And thatās not even the worst part, because sometimes, Oboro wanders off at night.
Not sleepwalking. Not dreaming. Just... standing in the middle of the street, staring into nothing. And when they shake him awake?
He doesnāt remember leaving the house.
And sometimes, when theyāre not listening, he says things that terrify them.
"Tomura Shigaraki... he was alone for so long" "No one held his hand" "He only ever knew destruction"
"I failed him once. I cannot fail again".
They saved him... but they didnāt break his chains. They can't, they tried. These chains stayed from Kurogiri to Oboro.
And worst of all?
Maybe some part of him doesn't even want to get rid of these chains.
If Twice was a hero, I think he'd be one of the most powerful, efficient, and SILLY HEROES ON THE RANKINGS
You CAN'T DENY that internships under him would be just both the most hilarious and traumatising experiences ever
One Twice copy is making a detailed presentation: "Alright, kids, today you'll be learning how to efficiently patrol the city!"
Another Twice is already halfway out the window- "Nah, forget that, let's just wing it!"
A third one is crying in the corner: "WAIT, AM I THE REAL ONE?! I'M HAVING A CRISIS!"
On day two there's just TWELVE TWICES directing you everywhere
"TODAY WE'RE GOING RIGHT!" "NO, LEFT! LEFT IS THE WAY!" "NO, RIGHT!" "BOTH WAYS-wait, that doesn't work" "JUST FOLLOW MY LEAD-" just trips and makes all the clones fall
On day three you have to fight yourself in training because Twice thought itād be hilarious (its actually efficient in noticing owns flaws!)
And somehow, SOMEWAY YOU LEARN TWICE AS FAST.
