“Traffic… Then the wind…” Parasite spoke. They seemed to calm down a bit as they closed their eyes. They let out a long exhale (or, at least, they made the same noise as an exhale and moved their body up and then down in a breathing fashion. They didn’t exactly have lungs, but the effect was still calming).
Parasite was, admittedly, panicking.
They were scared. The spider was gone. Their friend was gone.
They were practically vibrating with anxiety as they searched, desperately looking for them. No, no, no, no, I can’t loose another-
They hadn’t bothered to hide in a nonhuman form, hadn’t bothered to take even a bit of precaution as they stood, perched atop a building.
Please… no…
What if they were gone what if they had been disgusted by them what if they were dead what if it’s my fault- Parasite couldn’t take it, couldn’t hold back as they let out a gutteral, alien scream out on the top of their lungs. They whipped around in a wide arc, their tail slamming into the metal railing and their claws painfully tearing into the concrete under them as they fully gave into the overwhelming, suffocating panic.
Parasite nodded, their eyes widening and spikes going a bit more slack as they saw Wheelie. “I- yeah- grounding- grounding stuff. That. I don’t-”
They broke down, slumping to the ground, tail curled in under them.
Parasite was, admittedly, panicking.

This could mean you struggle with interacting with other roleplayers in the community, or get anxiety over simple interactions with others.
@wheelbarrowofstagefourcancer and anyone else who wants to interact is welcome to! (No pressure though)

THIS USER DOES NOT CONSENT TO HAVING THEIR ART OR WRITING USED IN ANY AI PROCESSING OR TO FEED AI DATA AT ALL, NO EXCEPTIONS! I’m trying to learn to use webglaze and nightshade, so even if you don’t care about my consent, take that as a warning and leave.
Any and all art I upload here is copyrighted, and anybody who wants to use my art for something must ask first, and if I say no, then that means no.
Secondly, no asking for commissions. Just no. Please don’t. You can send in a request though “ask me anything!”, but don’t spam me. I have the right to not draw it or to take my time considering I’m making the art for free, and I usually only draw anthro or feral characters anyways, so no asking for humans. Also, no NFSW asks.
Any bots will be blocked. I support Palestine, but any asks to help Palestine will be blocked as more often than not, they are just scammers that are trying to feed off of the pain of innocents to get some quick cash.
Finally, don’t be an ass. Yes, my art and writing may be ass at times, I know. Don’t offer constructive criticism unless I explicitly ask for it.
Uhhh anyways have a good day and drink water. Don’t die.

Parasite noticed the pause in their voice, the slight hesitance. That usually meant regret or nervousness, didn’t it?
Make a connection with her to acknowledge that you know that something’s wrong, but don’t push it or make a fuss about it.
“Ah, I get that. I’ve been doing good though, surprisingly.”
They should get it over now, just… cut the bandage off? Wait, no, that was wrong, it was rip the bandaid off, that was it.
“Can I… Show you something? It’s nothing weird, I promise, just- well… It’s hard to explain?”
Wow, great job trying not to sound weird!
Gwen didn't go to Hudson Yard often. That would be obsessive. She didn't even expect to find Alice there.
But she would be lying if she claimed she didn't spend more time at the park than she used to. It was a good place to rest and sometimes patrol got stressful, so she'd take a few minutes and stop by.
Yeah, part of it was that it reminded her of Alice and she was able to feel a little less odd for a few minutes, but she wasn't trying to find them. That would be invasive. Gwen was getting better at recognizing that.
She sighed as she pulled at the grass, letting her mind wander. She tried to stay alert, she really did, but it felt like such a chore when there was simply her, grass, and air. So she let it go for a bit.
The wind blew at her side, not too strong, but it still made her shiver.
She heard footsteps as people wandered by. Not many, but some. Few stopped, which made sense. It was late and Gwen stayed hidden from the walkway between a tree and some bushes.

Parasite had been lurking around Hudson Yard too, though they hadn’t been doing so as much.
Parasite had been in partial symbiote form. They had started to get more and more confident each day with it, especially after realizing that this was New York, where most people were used to aliens and mutants.
That didn’t change the fact that people still hid away, or grimaced, or moved away, or started to reach for concealed guns whenever they saw them, which was why they had been lurking a bit in the more shadowy parts of Hudson park when they had seen Gwen again.
Parasite almost did a double take, seeing the first person that had treated them normally and given them a chance. They had almost charged forwards before remembering that they didn’t have Alice as a host anymore, and seeing a symbiote host charging at them probably would be quite the alarming sight. Instead, they stood there for a moment, just staring, trying to contemplate what the next best move would be. They were really starting to regret not telling Gwen before they had parted they were a symbiote.
:D

Parasite smiled genuinely for the first time, edging a bit out of the shadows a bit.
“Good! I found another-” Parasite cut themselves off before they could say ‘host’. That would bring up too many questions they couldn’t answer. “-Friend!”
“What about you? How have you been doing?” By this point a couple more steps and they would be out of the shadows, their spiked tail poking out of the shadowy corner they stood in.

Hi! I’m existent, hello!
You’re a spider person? Hi!
DO YOU STILL HAVE A SYMBIOTE?
- @spidey-dad
YEAH!!!!
they’re @parasite-the-symbiote
Mrrrrrp! Mrrrrr!
(Hello there! How are you!)
@its-jeff-the-shark
Oh! Hello little creature!
You’re the one I talked to about the fabled muskrat, aren’t you? A fellow creature with good tastes! How rare to see these days!
Parasite hesitated. They had been so sure about it at first, but now…
Take it slow, don’t startle her.
Parasite spoke up, trying to make their voice as friendly as possible. “Gwen?”
When they didn’t immediately run away, they spoke up again. “Gwen, hey! It’s me, Alice! Remember!”
They made sure to stay partially in the shadows as they talked. Maybe if they talked first and then showed themselves, it wouldn’t go badly.

…Huh.
I’m suddenly somewhat invested in the platypus. Why am I invested in a fictional platypus??? What the fuck???
can i call u nicknames???? i can’t think of any but ill do some thinking
@wheelbarrowofstagefourcancer
Depends. Most nicknames I’m fine with, I’ve taken all sorts of names that weren’t mine. As long as it isn’t something like “face eater” or “chomper.”
OH SHIT-
Uhhhh, passing the phone to my mutual who’ve sent me an ask or @/ed me in a post
@disappointedwaffles @catz-dagger @wheelbarrowofstagefourcancer @official-buckybarnes @vokis-inn-and-tavern @rage-the-symbiote @bluejayandvice there’s more but I cannot for the life of me remember anything about interactions and have no idea if they count as mutuals or not but oh well fuck it I’ll go back and fixate on how I accidentally excluded my mutuals later
Passing the phone tag game
Tag your moots and other random ppl and if any comply they have to reblog with a scenario and tag others
Passing the phone who believes we should respect the fact that marvel gave us a strong independent Aro/ace female character

I… Oh. Ooh.
It’s a platypus isn’t it. The meaning is a blue platypus. I just saw it in your brain. I just figured out how to do that. I have been hoping from hosts to hosts and I just figured out how to pick up on their thoughts. How the fuck have I just discovered this. What the hell. How.
Also, not exactly sure why I’m a platypus, but I’ll take it.

No thank you to the first one. The second one seems fine with me, though I sense some sort of an undertone to a deeper meaning to it.
I’ll accept that, though.

*smashing through a wall* nuuuurrrhhh...hey, we'll...pay for the damages later..damn mechs...fuck the hunger...
@rage-the-symbiote
“Oh! Uh, hello! Uh, thanks for the paying the damages part though.”
“Hang on, hunger? You need food?”
Their quills/spikes perked up a bit.
“I can help get you food! Just- nobody in this building. But I’m really good at hunting!”

“Yeah, that’s pretty much how it works! As for the bonding part, I… Don’t think that would be a very good idea either.”
(anyone is welcome to fill out the bingo card, just make sure to @/ me in it!)
“Of course! Come back anytime. If you need me, I’ll come and find you. Or you could come and fine me! Whichever one is easiest for you.”
A small blob, the size of a subway rat approaches. It is grey, with a full spectrum of colors dancing over it.
“Hello. We I have not met another of my kind before. I am VICE.”
— @bluejayandvice
“Salutations, little one!”
Parasite crouched down to Vice, their eyes wide as they examined the symbiote
“Vice, you say? I’m Parasite. It’s a pleasure meeting another!”
[IM SO SORRY I FORGOT TO @bluejayandvice ]
(anyone is welcome to fill out the bingo card, just make sure to @/ me in it!)
[fair enough, I was struggling to come up with some of these so I accidentally got really vague in certain points. It looks pretty good to me tho!]
(anyone is welcome to fill out the bingo card, just make sure to @/ me in it!)
“Hm.”
For the most part, Parasite was quiet as they watched. Occasionally, they’d speak up with a question about why they acted that way, or why they did certain things.
*Wheelie skips over to the spot that Parasite said and he looks around.*
Heyyyy, I’m here!
*He’s wearing a bright pink unicorn hoodie and pink cargo pants so he shouldn’t be too hard to spot.*
@wheelbarrowofstagefourcancer
Parasite drops from the tree, letting go of the ant they had temporarily grabbed onto.
“Hey! Over here!”
The small alien moved closer, looking up at them.
“Sure. I don’t mind too much, as long as whatever it is isn’t too loud.” Parasite was mostly just glad to have a host, glad they could rest for a moment without the worry of a host dying or having to find a new one.
