But Xaden turned venin because he believed the general when he threatened to kill Violet.

It is heartbreakingly ironic that Xaden’s signet is (allegedly) reading intentions, and yet he couldn’t read the intentions of the general when it mattered the most. He turned venin because he believed Violet would die if he didn’t. He turned venin for a lie.

Ok, Formula 1 has already started again, and I couldn't be happier. I'm not usually one to write sentimental messages, but I was thinking that there are only 10 races left, and then Carlos and Charles will part ways, Daniel will probably not race anymore, and Logan will leave Formula 1. I'm not mentally ready for all these changes.

The only thing I can say right now is that I hope we'll hear fewer Dutch anthems and more Italian, Monegasque, or Spanish anthems.

That said, I will continue my work of writing (whenever I can), and I hope I don't run out of ideas too soon, so I can keep providing you with moments of lightheartedness and connection to your favorite drivers and the future 'characters' I will write about.

McLaren have screwed themselves so much more with that behavior than if they had just MADE A DECISION and stuck with it. Now Lando comes off as mercurial and petty and Oscar’s first win comes off as a handout. Excellent work from one of the most decorated f1 teams ever!!

i’m still fuming actually because if mclaren thought about their strategy, they’d realise that lando did the right thing. lando created a hell of a gap, got those two papaya cars right at the front and away from max and lewis. and then gave the position back. that saved the race for both of them.

oscar admitted himself he didn’t have the pace that lando did. if lando had given the position back as early as they told him to, they’d have both had to slow down for the last 20 laps and would have put themselves in a vulnerable position. max was driving like a maniac lmao and lewis was going steady. they probably would have caught them - or at least tried to, and mclaren would have lost time defending.

once again mclaren pitwall has made me want to pull my hair out.
