The Wayne manor is not a quiet place.

Someone Is always doing something, talking about anything, teasing, bantering, playfully slandering, so Bruce grew accustomed to noise. Its hard not to, with his nest of birds.

But this particular topic has him on mute;

" Oh my GOD, Jason, I'm LITERALLY the oldest. You ALWAYS have to get everything!"

Jason isn't at all interested in Dick's dramatics. He wraps all 6'4 inches around Bruce's leg like an affectionate leech. "You're the fucking meanest! You'll probably feed B those gross ass protein shakes and force him to watch re runs of Realest Housewives of Gotham!"

"YOU TRIED TO BLOW HIM UP!"

Cass is strong like a tsunami and silent as a snake, jumping on Bruce's back, beautiful eyes full of threat. " Dad stays. Mine."

Bruce pipes up, " I have a retirement plan--"

"Getting railed everyday at the Kent farm isn't a retirement!"

Tim gives Steph a look of disgust. "Gross."

Damian isn't above pulling out his swords. " If I don't get Baba, everyone is dying. Me included. "

"Damian. What did I say about threatening your siblings with murder?" Bruce asks expectantly.

" Oh, I'm not threatening, baba. I'm making a vow."

Alfred doesn't pry his attention from the chamomile tea he's preparing. " Master Bruce stays with me."

"...Alfred, I don't think you'll...You know, be around when Bruce retires--"

"Was that a contradiction?"

They all gulp. The argument is settled quickly, and Bruce spends the rest of his evening with head on Alfred's lap and his hand in Jason's hair, petting like a cat, and listening to RHOG on the TV.

He loves the noise.

The justice league goes for training without powers just to see how they’d cope in that situation.

Bruce and Oliver are so ready for this moment, and no one likes the way the two are teaming up.

Clown gets really confused whenever someone shows him basic kindness, you can see the gears turning as he tries to figure out what this means and takes a while to just process what's happening

You cannot tell me that Bruce Wayne having a “Brucie Wayne” persona would not cause some Accidents to occur.

One example I thought of was the Justice League having a group chat. Now, see, Brucie Wayne uses social media like all the younger generations do. (Plus, he’s bi, so of COURSE he has caps lock off to fit the Aesthetic™.)

Now, imagine Bruce having to physically HOLD HIMSELF BACK from using slang or typing in lowercase in the official JL chat, because he’s Batman, he can’t be casual, goddamnit!

He has to physically restrain himself from using abbreviations, responding to funny messages with “lmao” or something of the like, and he hates it.

One day, after a particularly hard week in Gotham, he forgets that he’s Batman using an official chat. But who cares, because it’s 5am and his phone is blowing up, and he just wants to sleep, damnit!

So he takes out his phone, pulls up the chat, and texts, “y’all, stfu”.

His phone is blissfully silent for five minutes. He manages to drift off to sleep. He wakes up in the morning to 100+ group chat notifications, 17 missed calls, and a whole lotta explaining to do.

If harry potter was born in the 21st century, no one can convince me that harry wouldn't be an angsty teen. He would be blasting out some mcr or p!atd or some rock. He would also make so many dark jokes and confuse everyone, concerning people aswell.

Octavian: So you do have a plan?

Percy: We go to Alaska as fast as possible

Reyna studied them. She looked like she was mentally writing her own obituary.

Octavian: A boat! The Son of Neptune wants a boat.

Reyna: Octavian, a boat is little enough to ask. And providing no other aid seems very-

[ SPRINT ]:     seeing the receiver across the room, the sender sprints across the distance between them to give them a hug.

[ PULL ]:     sender physically pulls the receiver (by the hand or waist or arms, etc.) into a hug

[ SHOULDER ]:     sender buries their face into the receiver’s shoulder/the crook of their neck while hugging them.

[ WAIST ]:     sender jumps up at the last minute while running to hug the receiver, wrapping their legs around their waist and their arms around their neck as they hug them.

[ SIDE ]:     sender wraps an arm around the receivers shoulders and pulls them in for a side-hug.

[ GIFT ]:     while hugging the receiver, the sender slips something into their pocket out of the public eye. (FEEL FREE TO SPECIFY WHAT THIS GIFT IS!)

[ GUIDE ]:     as they go in for a hug, the sender gently rests a hand and guides the receiver’s head to rest against their shoulder/chest.

[ CHIN ]:     sender, while hugging the receiver, rests their chin on top of their head.

[ SWAY ]:     while embracing the receiver, the sender begins to sway in a slow, soothing manner.

[ COAT ]:     as they go for a hug, the sender opens out their jacket so the receiver can “share” it, warming them up as best they can while they hug.

[ HUM ]:     as they embrace, the sender begins to gently hum under their breath to soothe and relax the receiver.

[ CIRCLE ]:     while they’re hugging, the sender begins to rub their hand in slow circles on the receiver’s back.

[ SUBSIDE ]:     an emotionally distressed sender initially shoves and strikes out at the receiver, but collapses into tears after a few moments and sinks against them for a hug.

[ CARRY ]:     the sender pulls an emotionally/physically exhausted receiver into an embrace, then lifts them off their feet and carries them to a sofa/bed to let them lie down and get some rest.

[ COLLAPSE ]:     a weakened sender (either from exhaustion or injuries or whatever!) sinks into the receiver’s embrace, only to collapse in their arms, too weak to move.
