Any tips on drawing mouths?

Oh gosh I will try

I do basic closed mouths like

altered pretty easily for parted lips

annnnnd teeth…

You can put as much or as little definition into your teeth as you like, but I go about halfway

And remember that it’s dark inside mouths, and that there’s a tongue in there. I’m terrible at tips, I’m sorry! Polararts has a much better tutorial haha.

Dear "But Hillary would be the first female president" people

You know what Bernie Sanders would be? The first Jewish President. And alongside that (though it goes without saying) the first non-Christian President.

In a country dominated by Christians, run on their values, and where ‘because the bible says so’ is considered a valid political argument, that’s just as important (if not moreso) as a female president. And while its not ever been as prevalent as racism or mysoginy, antisemitism has played a role in American history (and Western history in general), so this would also be a way to push away from that.

Just thought I’d point this out, since no one seems to be talking about it.

how did cartoons become such a ‘kids’ thing? how did we decide as species that, as soon as we made it through 16 rotations of the earth, suddenly we’re too old for moving drawings made by really talented people? cartoons are art? and hilarious? minimal angst and unproblematic jokes?  ?? zero logic. cartoons for everyone 2k15
