Furthermore whoever removed the audio jack from phones should be grilled in front of congress. The fact that I need a dongle to listen to music on a modern telephone while 20 years ago I could have simply plugged a universally standardized cord into the audio jack everyone knew how to use is an anti-human move that should be punished.
i'd rot in hell with you btw. if you just asked me to.
narrator who's terrible at social cues & describes every facial expression as "unreadable"
They/them pronouns but not because of gender but because there’s two guys in there
hi, i love dynamics that r like “we make each other worse” on the surface but when u look deeper it is actually just “we understand each other on a level that no one else does and nudge each other out of our typical comfort zone” which just circles around to “we make each other better”. it’s abt the accidental growth just by being in each other’s lives. idk
happy "everyone forgets that icarus also flew" monday. i want to throw up !
This is it! By removing all unnecessary parts I will find my one true immutable self and solve the question of identity forever, said a kid, who in a few years will become familiar with the term gender dysphoria, rapidly approaching an industrial grade wood chipper
So if every time they stopped to swap out a board on the ship of theseus, theseus went ahead and ate the old one, 1) did he Eat A Ship by consuming it's constituent parts and 2) if so, is the ship he ate more or less of the same ship they set sail with than the ship they finished sailing with? If you had ship of theseus crust pants that were created via your friend taking a big bite out of your pants occasionally and then you had to patch it until the original fabric was all gone, are your pants you wear and the pair of pants your friend ate the Same Pants ?
that didn't happen you're making that up
this may just be me going into overanalysis mode but i feel like the choreography of spellcasting can tell you so much about a magic user. a snap of the fingers, for example, implies confidence, even arrogance, while hands thrust out and straining to the fingertips suggests desperation, throwing one's whole body into the spell as though hoping the physical effort will make a difference. rapid, jerky body language tells you that a spellcaster is passionate and reckless, while graceful, fluid movements demonstrate calm and concentration. some magic users may choose to stomp their feet or clap their hands when casting, channeling power through percussive motion, whilst others may see magic as a tool separate from the self, and focus it through objects like a wand or staff. a new spellcaster just coming into their power may be tentative and slow, but a practiced study of magic will be able to rely on muscle memory to guide them.
