I also tried doing the Sonic artstyle, the shading and lighting style, kinda slaps. And I'm proud of how it turned out

I also made a lil Amy icon/sticker bc it was fun, and forgot that shadow mostly used gold instead of silver stuff, i have to fix these designs later so just ignore this for now pls,,,

For the portuguese text in the first image:

-Sonic & shadow have the same range of age, with shadow being older

-Sonic tried to bleach his hair alone, messed up and tried to bleach shadow's, messed his hair up too. They dyed them later so they wouldn't stay like that.

probably dumb idea: sonic having some amount of actual hedgehog instincts/behaviors, and assuming that shadow also does because he's also a hedgehog, and thinking that they're on the same wavelength in that regard.

but they aren't, and shadow doesn't. for all intents and purposes, he isn't actually a hedgehog, he was just created to look like one. but his dna is from black doom so he has his own weird alien behaviors.

this obviously leads to confusion and maybe frustration because shadow doesn't pick up on the subtle implications of sonic's social behaviors, and sonic doesn't understand why and misinterprets shadow's behaviors in turn.

it's like an allegory for autism, except shadow also just actually has literal autism so really either way these social cues are going way over his head
