Headcanons for a Touchstarved MC who is poly and seems open to all of them:

Ais

Ais is not the jealous type—he thrives in situations where he has to fight for someone’s attention. In fact, the idea that you’re open to all of them makes this so much more fun for him.

At first, he smirks. Of course, you’re interested in everyone. You’ve got good taste. Deep down, he’s amused but also watching closely. Are you seriously considering all of them, or are you just entertaining the idea?

He gets bolder—leans in more, throws out suggestive comments just to gauge your reaction. If you flirt back? Oh, it’s on. Casually sizing up the others, he makes just enough provocative remarks to stir the pot. Guess I’ll have to work harder to keep your attention, huh? He treats it like a game—one he plans on winning.

Leander

Leander loves connection, and he’s open-minded, but… let’s be honest—he’s used to being the person someone wants. The idea that he’s one of many? That’s new.

At first, he laughs, wide and genuine. All of us? Really? He finds it endearing. He brushes it off like it doesn’t bother him, but deep down? There’s a tiny spark of possessiveness. He wants to be special to you.

He doubles down on the charm. Extra flirty, extra affectionate—pulls you close and whispers, But I’m your favorite, right? Surprisingly accommodating, if you really want all of them, he’ll go along with it. He just needs to make sure he’s still your first choice. He teases Ais and the others just to stir up tension.

Vere

Vere lives to be desired. But shared? That’s an entirely different matter.

At first, he gives a slow, sharp smile. How greedy of you. He doesn’t mind the idea—but he does mind not being the one who has the most of your attention.

Immediately, he starts testing you. If you flirt with someone else, he’ll slide up beside you and whisper something dangerous enough to make your pulse jump. He loves watching the others react—if they get possessive, he eats it up. If they don’t care, he’ll make them care. He acts nonchalant, but there’s a sharpness in his gaze. If he ever feels like he’s just one of many without something special between you, he’ll pull back.

Mhin

Mhin already struggles with trust and attachment—this only makes it worse.

At first, they scoff and roll their eyes. Figures. Their mind jumps straight to the worst conclusions. Do you actually care about any of them? Or is this just a game to you?

Immediately, they pull away. If they were starting to open up to you, this would make them slam their walls back up. But if they believe you genuinely care about all of them, that you’re not just playing with their feelings, then it terrifies them how much they want to trust you. They’ll be the last to accept it—but once they do, they won’t fight for your attention. They’ll just… wait. If you want them, you’ll have to come to them.

Kuras

Kuras is the least affected by the revelation. If anything, he finds it intriguing.

At first, he gives a calm, thoughtful look. Is that so? No judgment, just observation. He has seen many kinds of relationships before. This does not surprise him. But why do you want this? That’s the question he’s interested in.

He doesn’t react outwardly, but there’s a softness in his gaze when he looks at you. He won’t compete for your affection, but he will make it known that if you truly want him, he is here. He is patient. Watching how the others handle it with mild amusement, he seems as if he’s observing something inevitable.

Would they all be okay with it? Maybe. Maybe not. But one thing is for sure: the tension would be unreal.

Soooo- Touchstarved, am I right?? I planned to post about it on the kickstarter anniversary but you must forgive my fashionable lateness <3. Got into it a bit ago and I've been doodling for it for a while. Prepare for a lot more where this came from very soon >:). Especially of my favourite character. Who? You shall soon see.

But for now, have a doodle and Vere and the lovely alchemist Noel, made by the equally lovely @todayis-snowy! I came up with a pose concept, and those two were just right there.

Kuras - Warming up The idea that Kuras chooses to stay in the same bed as MC (even though he doesn't need to sleep) just to warm him up seems good… They won't need a blanket, a hug is enough. If the MC can't sleep with the lights on, an eye mask would be a good option to place next to him, but a warm light like this can be nice to look at… Especially while he's staring at you, totally fascinated.

Leander - Resting Leander doesn't seem to have much time to sleep or rest, so MC pulls him back to bed as soon as he tries to go back to work. This moment won't even last 5 minutes, he might not even need that time to make you change your mind…

Mhin - Getting closer They never seem to like excessive affection, sleeping cuddled together seems almost impossible, but they try their best to show affection, even if it's with a dakimakura between their bodies.

Vere - Nesting? Maybe it's his fox instincts speaking louder, but on rare occasions Vere is able to steal MC's clothes and use him as a personal pillow. Kinda cute, actually… He will never admit that happened, you were probably dreaming.

Ais - Comforting His body is incredibly good to lie on (maybe because of the size of his chest that can be used as a pillow)… He's a little cold, however his arms are able to perfectly warm MC' body.

BUT I CAME INTO A NEWFOUND REALISATION:

THE MC'S CURSE PROTECTS THEM, IN SOME WAY

(unless I'm the last person in the fandom to notice that, good job me)

If you pick the "Touch him" option, he only says "I told you there's nothing to worry about"

BUT HERE, he comments "That's one hell of a curse :D" meaning he definately feels it and it possibly affects him

Yes, the MC surely has ptsd of some sort and could assume Leander's hand was going for their neck like mrChocky but i highly doubt he was initially going for their shoulder

I believe the MC's curse doesn't affect whoever they touch, but whoever touches them

It's quite a bit of a strech, yes, but still a possibility:

Leander doesn't do the dramatics above if the MC touches him first

MrChocky was the one who touched the MC first and got he affected

And thus I bring in another question: What about Oracle!MC?

It wouldn't be illogical if the priests' words were true; if the MC touches someone, they are "bestowed enlightenment", but if the MC gets touched forcibly/accidentally, the one who touches them goes mad

But that would also mean we'd have the choice of giving Leander more power if we choose to touch him

Also, somehow all the backstory mages seem to have a good understanding of the MC's curse [have seen it/it has been recorded before], or are at least able to recoognise it in order to reveal it to them. Plus, the Alchemist!MC's mage [who was "exiled from the Senobium"] planned on cultivating them as a test subject, meaning not much must be known about said curse.

"It's unlike anything I've ever dealt with," says Leander, a mage who has never stepped foot in the Senobium.

"We can find answers together," Leander promises later on.

Then he stops

He waits for them to touch him

Then he freely unwinds their bandages, allows them to touch his hands, his cheeks, he moves his hands over theirs because they've already accepted him touching them

He could have figured how the MC's curse works, or he could have dark-magic-ed his way into the Senobium files before the MC returned to the Wick again.

obviously this smell is ais ("cloaked in the scent of smoke and blood") which many people have already noticed

but do you guys think. ais was there when mc was there. do you think ais already saw mc's hands. that's why he didn't actually care to see them later at the seaspring but brought them up anyway as a means to intimidate mc?? because he already knows??
