The fact that they casted Goldie Hawn to play her was also clearly a very thought through choice as she appears so cheerful and bubbly in the first minutes of her scenes (because of her characteristical smile and blonde hair)!!!

ok but how does no one remember nastya goncharov? plays violin and viola, katya and goncharov’s adopted daughter?!?
youd think more people would remember her, given that she sacrificed herself for katya - her MOTHER. - in the boat scene. and her death was the first time the ticking clock truly was brought into focus? iconic moment. i don’t usually cry when watching movies but when i heard the clock’s ticking reflect the song she was playing in the dinner party scene i was SOBBING.

I love the leitmotif for Goncharov’s gun, it’s tense, but there’s an underlying frailness to it, you can feel the indecisiveness in Goncharov’s mind, you understand that the gun is a curse he has to bear in order to walk the path he’s on. Hearing it in the bar scene when his hands go below the counter and you never see it you just see his face, his eyes, unwavering and yet so frail, you can tell he’s going to reach for it before the big reveal, I get chills every time

Im a disabled autistic woman attempting to leave my abusive partner of several years. i am severely mentally ill and disabled, and i need help being able to get out of this situation.
the arguing and screaming is daily and is too much to handle. this person assaults me sexually, guilt trips me, and gaslights me about the severity of their abuse. i just can’t take it anymore. i’m tired of enabling this person’s behavior.
i am extremely unsafe and terrified. i need to figure out how to get out of this situation discretely. i also need help paying for my medical care, my service animal, transportation, food, and housing fees.
