Sne(a)k peek of @ami-v-dragnire DTIYS!

Not sure when I’ll finish it, no time, no life, but I really enjoyed drawing these two fools in love (because they are ^^) and I would draw them until the end of my days if I could.

A tilt of the chin, a delicate pad of a finger lifting it up ever so gently.

“Penny for your thoughts.”

“You. I’m thinking of you, always.”

A rustle of sheets, someone is turning onto their side, sitting up against the antique headboard.

“No, really. As sweet as that is...”

“I’m serious,” he says in earnest, brows lifting to prove it.

“I believe you,” he laughs, and fingers are dragged up and down a chest, across a sternum, bare skin tingling under the tender caresses.

“Good. Because I wouldn’t know how else to get you to do that.”

Someone leans down to kiss plush, swollen lips, matched by the state of their own, both sore from kissing and much, much more. There’s another shift then, someone straddling the other under the sheets, a comforting weight upon a corporeal body, and an arm is reaching to the nightstand for a cigarette.

“Want one?”

“No, my dear, I think I’d rather keep tasting you instead.”

There’s the sound of another, quicker kiss, and then the dry filtered end is pressed between two wetted lips, hanging haphazardly until it’s gripped between pearly whites.

“Hold still-“

Someone disobeys only by grazing his palms down the warm chest in front of himself, and is greeted by the sight of a miracled lighter, a thing small and silver and engraved with a script in Latin: Your fire burns bright in my soul.

“Oh- you’re so daft-“

“If I’m daft then you are too.”

“I never said I was smart.”

Two stupid grins mirror each other, and the lighter is flicked open to reveal its strong flame, which is very carefully brought closer to the lover’s lips against the packed end. It glows along with the lover’s eyes, and then there’s another click as the lighter ceases its temporary existence.

The sound of a long, steady inhale matches the calm, almost-impossibly-slow breaths of the other being, and soon smoke is curling out of the lover’s mouth and nose as he plucks the cigarette from his teeth. It’s a lace, a fog that’s sweet and heavy that circles around the two lovers themselves, moving with the hand that clutches the smoke itself to travel the lungs of the other. Shared breath, shared aftermath, shared bodies, shared meaning.

“C’m’ere,” one says, breathing out more lace.

“I already am,” the other insists, but his eyes crinkle as he’s invited closer to the flesh of his lover, cheek finding cheek, hand finding hair that matches flame.

“Let’s sleep tonight.”

“But, my love, I’m already living the dream.”

I don't know what I would do if fanfiction wasn't here. I don’t know. Honestly, I would probably kill myself.

Few days ago I fell into another one, Under Contruction by @summerofspock and CAN’T STOP reading. 

Just a sketch, but I'm a little proud of myself how their noses pop up! Big noses fan me (this sounded weird). And who is not, with David and with Michael on beside? 

Yeah, below we also have ‘the thumb on the hip bone’! I put it in quotes because it was a Thing and you know what I mean if you already read fic. Only one slightly naked and bruised man (pants on) and one gentle thumb, nothing more, I promise! 

(sorry, perhaps nobody harms if I post whole image, but not finished yet - struggle with anatomy as always)

Met an old teacher today and we got talking about ‘the good old times’ and ten minutes into the conversation I jokingly said the one regret I have from middle school is that I never won anything at her magnificent tombolas? Because, like, she used to hold this game about once a month so we’d learn the numbers in French and it was never big prizes, but as a 12-yo I desperately craved them - a cactus-shaped eraser, a bright blue notebook with slightly larger-than-usual squares, a set of coloured pens - and never ever got a single one of them. 

(Actually spent a good few months thinking I was genetically unlucky and researching ancient family curses with my grandma.) 

So today I don’t know what I was hoping for - nothing, really?

(I mean, that part of me that’s still twelve was probably expecting this sweet old woman to have a set of glitter stickers in her purse and just go ‘You know what, you’re right - I’ve been saving this one for you all these years, here you go’ but I’m a solidly rational person and I know that’s stupid.)

No, I thought we’d just laugh and it would be a good shared memory and that would be it. Instead, my teacher got flustered and a bit embarrassed and explained the game was rigged. It was never about learning French at all. She’d just noticed some kids couldn’t afford even basic stationery, so she’d buy a few half-fancy items every month with her own money just for them. She didn’t want them to feel different or left out. And obviously the way she used to walk around in the classroom, looking over our shoulders - it wasn’t to prevent cheating. It was because she was cheating herself, wanting to see which number a particular child needed to get a Minnie Mouse pencil case.

Guys - the world is fucked up, but so many people out there are just good and kind and humbly heroic it honestly gives me hope. 

It’ll be alright, you’ll see.

When I got to this moment in the story, I was absolutely charmed - by whole action, atmosphere, place, everything. You know, I love Bentley, but hate drawing cars. I still have no idea how to draw car, but there it is, fanart for amazing @ineffablefool​ and his lovely fic But It Wouldn't Be Make-Believe. I really tried to draw these two idiots in right way and I hope you’d like it and can guess which part I drew ^^ (because there was an intention!) (It's been almost two months since I drew first sketch, but better later than never, right? And if you haven't started reading yet, you know what to do.)

July is almost over and I feel quite guilty for making such a messy and quick sketch of Crowley. So, there is new version with his beloved and the most terrified plants in London. (I am not sure if it is any better or not)

My holidays officially started today (yay!) and I got up without an alarm clock instead of someone particular. I know how hard it is, but you can do it! Wake up Crowley and go to hug your husband.

I'm always looking forward to two things: new chapter of Loosely Ballroom AND new fanart of Loosely Ballroom (and I am not sure which one I love more 😅 ) This is pure happiness. I don't smoke and I don't like it, but I can watch them as smoking all day.

Uh, I just found out where to look at added tags on my reblogged works. Well, yes, I am so dumb people. I have no idea about this function, thanks for notify, wise man. (but who should have known that the mobile app has different options?) ... You are the nicest people in the world and I appreciate it a lot and I don’t know how to thank everybody who add these kind and sweet words, you lift my spirits (and there is a tag with my name, wtf?). I have something in my eye. ... Sorry, I am a little overwhelmed. Just ignore me.

Braces.  Guys, I’m living and dying for braces. I made a quick sketch of Aziraphale’s summer outfit (there is also his whole figure, but not finished yet) inspired by fic Don't Cry Over Spilled Coffee by @waffleironbiddingwar

Crowley was going to faint. He stared at the kind face as surprised blue eyes stared back. “Oh,” the stranger said, with the slightest hint of an accent. 

“Er.” Crowley wasn’t sure what to say and the children, seeming to understand something strange was happening, were silent. Finally, Adam spoke up. 

“Mr. Fell, the kite went out of control.” He held it up. “Part of the frame was bent.” 

“And it knocked over my coffee,” Crowley unhelpfully supplied, his brain unable to think of anything else except the gorgeous man in front of him. He could even look past the terrible brown sandals he was wearing.  I've never been a summer person, actually I am not able sit and take a sunbath for 5 minutes (plus I live inland) but this AU got under my skin.  And yes, tartan IS stylish! (and everywhere)

HOLY CRAP, this is fucking masterpiece! This animatic must have taken you such a long time. I can't imagine how much work is involved in. Such a beautiful colors, illustrations, motion, lyrics, my God, whole amazing artstyle, everything.

Holy shit, how beautiful! I love everything about it, colors, texture, light, hands and wings (I have a thing for hands apparently) and the huge amount of details. This is LOVE.

I’ve worked on this piece for a week, I started immediately after finishing last chapter of this briliant and beautiful and glorious story by @kedreeva. And I must admit - I never know siren has wings!  

But the biggest kick to my ass are you people. I am still overwhelmed by the amount of likes on my last work (dtiys of marvellous @hayamiyuu) and this is my little celebration for it.  Thank you, very very much.

Bloody Hell, I can't describe how I adore your work and your art style. This awful world needs more artists like you.

I never finish drawing (especially DTIYS), like I said, but there is little miracle of my own. I worked on beautiful and very touching pict by @hayamiyuu (look on Intstagram please!) because I like, everybody like, rainy romantic and I fell in love with these amazing colors and lighting! They are an image of love in its purest form for me.

This is pure joy! Draw Michael for first time, hope I didn’t mess up him, because he deserves all love of the world. ...look at this eyes wrinkles please, look, you could lost in them.
