Hey đ check out this zine doing an interest check.
As far as I can tell the zine's only posting on twitter, but you don't need a twitter account to fill out their interest check:
Interest check closes today though.
"Hey there ckret2 why are you telling us about this interest check, could you possibly have some personal interest in whether or not we fill it out?" Well since you asked, as it so happens the zine's invite-only, the interest check has a place for people to list AUs & creators they'd like to see in the zine, and since as far as I can tell it's only being advertised on twitter where I have basically no presence, all the folks who might be interested in any of my AUs and might have an interest in seeing me in a zine (hello đď¸đď¸) won't see it. unless it's posted over here.
(obviously, y'all are under no obligation to recommend me if you're fans of other AUs you'd rather see more and/or if you don't care about zines. but hey, doesn't hurt to advertise it. and whether or not I get into the zine, it looks like a cool project people should know about.)
Did you know that sheepâs could purr?
â¨cute sheep fact of the dayâ¨
(And thank you to that person who told me I mixed up the twins names, I always seem to get them confused half the time đ¤Ł)

We are introduced to Bill Seacaster almost immediately, and immediately know what he's about. He's an infamous pirate known around the world for his awful deeds. He's filthy rich and most importantly, he LOVES his son.
We are introduced to Pok Gukgak only in passing. A small note of riz's long-dead father. And he's left as that for a while, because why would he be anything more. But then he is more, he's so much more. He's a badass and a spy.
Almost immediately we learn that Bill Seacaster is widely known for horrible things, and eventually we learn that Pok Gukgak was never known for all he gave.
With learning about Pok Gukgak comes learning about his death, which as all things involving Riz are, is a mystery. Riz slowly uncovers the pieces to a long warn-out fuzzy picture and even when he thinks he has it all there's always more. He was sick, no he died in a shipwreck, no he was eaten by a dragon, his partner lured him there. Pok Gukgak's death is avenged because of course it is. Riz's goal is to be like him and if he was a hero it's what he would've wanted, it's what he would've done.
Bill Seacaster's death is no mystery. Fabian is intimately familiar with the details. He was right there, he made it happen. Resurrection and incredible feats of healing are very possible in Solace. If Fabian hadn't stabbed him and Bill hadn't blown up, it was very possible that he would've survived. But he didn't survive because Fabian killed him because that's what his dad wanted, that's what he would've done.
Fabian Seacaster has to live up to his father's legacy. Even as he haunts the fiery levels of hell, his memory is still very much alive. Fabian has to live up to his father's legacy, something so very hard to do when his father's name is so boldly written upon the face of the world. The best thing Fabian can do is write his own as a footnote.
Riz Gukgak has to live up to his father's memory. He was a great man who did great things. Right? Riz Gukgak has to live up to his father's memory, a task so impossible as his very name was practically forgotten in the flaming belly of a dragon. Maybe his dad is in hell, maybe he deserves to be there. Why would Riz know? Why would he know anything?
He's nothing like him. He's nothing like him. How can you be like a man who seemingly everyone knows? How can you be like a man you barely knew?
He's nothing like him, but he's like himself. His friends don't need his dad to help save their lives, the world doesn't need his dad to protect it.
They're nothing like their dads but everything like them at the same time. They are notorious and unknown, heroes who do some unsavory things. Their dads are gone but they're right here.
I found one of my other old masterposts so I'm taking the opportunity to finally make a pinned post, prioritized based on what people ask me about most often:
I love spam likes/reblogs. I love comments on years-old fics/posts. If you ever think "this fic is too old for me to like/reply/reblog" YOU ARE WRONG. Does a parent stop loving their baby when it's 20 years old?
Where do I find all the things you write? On my Ao3 or in my #my writing tag! A few things on my blog haven't been posted to AO3 yet. My really old fics are on fanfiction.net.
What about your art? In my #my art tag, but buddy, I only create art to lure in fresh readers. Please read my writing too.
Where's your big Gravity Falls Bill Cipher fic? Right here! Also, every chapter has a link to the masterpost at the top! Also also, every post about the fic is under #bill goldilocks cipher. The fic's not going on Ao3 until TBOB is released this summer.
Where are all your Godzilla fics? Right here! Also, almost all of them have links to the masterpost, too. Nearly all of them are on Ao3.
When are you returning to editing In Short Supply/writing Rodorah/writing radiosnake? When the stars align (and when I'm not hyperfixated on a different fandom). You can find my posts about ISS under #in short supply.
When are you reuploading all the broken BtSDLb images? When I stop having ADHD long enough to spend a day individually uploading over a thousand pictures. I've never had access to the mirror on MSPFA, somebody else made it.
How do I find anything else on your blog? I tag everything and cross-link posts as often as I can. Tumblr search is terrible but tumblr tags work just fine. I try to make it as easy as possible.
Are you taking writing commissions? Not right now, unless you happen to have an idea about exactly what I want to write in the exact fandom I'm currently interested in.
Are you accepting tips without commissions? If you wanna send one!
Can I hire you to write for a big fancy legitimate TV show/movie/video game/comic? Yes. (... Hey, doesn't hurt to hope somebody'll ask.)
favourite rpg trope is the merchants in incredibly hostile environments. we are at the evil curse mountain and youre just selling me items normal style
an old comic i drew as kind of a vibe check for a longer form comic i've been chewin on since TBOB came out, "Nevermind All That"
as a concept its got bill's perspective torn between earth and theraprism . lotta stupid introspection . like the sopranos but if it was written by someone who has never watched the sopranos and knows nothing about the sopranos
