i think the funniest thing about simon and wally is that they both have animosity for each other based on nothing but assumption but they'd probably get along like a house on fire if they could actually speak to each other they're both the same brand of bitchy sweetheart and it's so goddamn funny that they're so "that other dog. who is he." instead.

I love how, during the dance sequence, rhonda was so adamant that she would Not join them, but then she rolled her eyes and jumped in. like those are her Boys, they're best friends your honor. she's like their big sister who complains about their shenanigans but then joins the shenanigans with a smile because she loves them dearly and they're the only people that can make her feel like she's having fun.

It's so very important to me that Charley and Wally very much are just like "yeah man you're hot as hell. Love you" because Wally is. From the 80s. And very masculine. He's a football player for fucks sake, just calling his male friends hot and telling them he loves them would get him similar if not the exact same treatment that the rest of the football team gave that unknown name guy at the memorial but he just says this stuff to Charley. Casually. There's like nothing between them and he's fully like "you're the hottest guy I've ever seen. You got this" and charley, in return, is like "oh yeah Wally manhandling the door open was kinda hot"

xavier thinking he deserves basically getting killed by a car. wally thinking his mom is disappointed in him 40 years after he died. simon thinking he was hallucinating and having a full on mental breakdown. rhonda screaming when she sees her murderer. charley having a full-on anaphylactic attack when he enters his scar… someone hug these kids please!!
