I miss her
no sentence fills me with utter loathing so much as "i asked chatgpt"
She pointed a slender finger at Ivan, who stood at the center of a group of boys, their faces filled with admiration and envy. Ethan huffed in frustration but remained silent as he maneuvered Olivia through the crowd of students, eager to reach their respective locker rooms.
Stripping out of his regular clothes, Ethan quickly changed into his gym outfit before heading around the corner. But just as he turned the corner, he collided with Ivan, who seemed to be purposely blocking his path.
"Oops, my apologies, friend," Ivan said with a sly smile on his face, adding extra emphasis to the word "friend" that only served to further infuriate Ethan. "I didn't see you there."
Ethan clenched his jaw, barely able to contain his rising anger towards the cocky boy in front of him.
“Didn’t see you there either, friend,” Ethan spat out, ducking under Ivan’s arm and heading for the gym. He didn’t get too far when Ivan grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
“Don’t think I didn’t see you with that looney girl, friend,” Ivan simpered, his smile getting more smug with each word he spoke, “I can tell just by looking at her that she’s crazy.”
Ethan yanked his arm hard out of Ivan’s grip and took a few steps back.
“Look, you might be new here, so maybe you don’t understand the rules. The folks in this neighborhood are very protective of people like Luna. So I would suggest keeping your mouth shut before something happens that you aren’t going to like.”
Ivan’s eyebrows arched as he stepped in close to Ethan, who didn’t back away, just narrowed his eyes and didn’t break his gaze.
“I come from a very powerful family, friend, so maybe don’t threaten me with your talk.”
Ethan laughed loudly as he turned on his heel and walked away. Olivia’s family was also powerful and yet, almost no one saw her rubbing it in people’s faces. Ivan clearly didn’t know how this town worked.

"Would anyone want to read --" Listen, imma stop you right there. Yes. YES, someone would want to read that. You write that weird little fucked up story. Or that domestic little slice of life story. That drabble or that 300k monster.
I promise someone wants to read it.
