i love thinking about bakugo getting hit with a time travel quirk and his symbolic nightmares become a very tangible and chaotic new reality. sth sth learning how to move on as a better person without letting your past and shame control you, even if it's gonna follow you for the rest of your life in one way or another.
i don't think bakugo should atone repeatedly for his childhood sins, but i also don't really agree with the sentiment that their childhood wouldn't affect their adulthood. i think a lot of their little habits (the good and the bad) were formed during their childhood and as a result of their friendship and falling out, i think sometimes that catches them off-guard in their adulthood and leads to unexpected situations that require them to manage their emotions well so it doesn't end in unjust accusations and yeah.
hawks is such a guy. he has arguably one of the worst backstories in bnha and you could never guess it just by looking at his face. he was saved to be used, groomed into perfection, put out for the world to see. the safety commission's pride. "the safety commission is essentially out of service; there's no one to give me orders now. i am free of my shackles". when lady nagant asked him how could he still have that glisten in his eyes, he told her "what can i say? i'm optimistic to a fault". he saw twice and used him and wanted so, so bad to save him. to give him a chance. "that's why bubaigawara was a good person. setting aside whether his actions were right or wrong, he was just desperately trying to help others. i want to be like that, too". he was raised the safety commission's golden boy. he wanted to save others. he just wanted to save others
i’m going to hold your hands when i say this and i am only going to be kind about it once: ai does not belong in fandom spaces, ever. not in writing, not in art, not in video, not at all. it does not matter how bad you want to see your favourite characters kiss, or how much you need a bit of help finishing a chapter, or whatever.
make friends with artists. commission somebody. learn to draw yourself. ask for a beta read. try a writing partnership. fandom spaces are communities, so engage with them! it is about the journey and the fact that we all love something enough to create and build together about that thing.
spending 30 seconds to kill a tree and get an AI to push out some soulless empty piece of “content” is antithetical to the entire point of being engaged with fandom, and if you’ve taken to doing this you should really reconsider if you belong in these spaces with the rest of us.

you know what sucks? when something evokes such intense emotions in like... a good way but you genuinely just cannot explain it and it's not like a normal reaction and like you wanna talk about it with someone who also gets that same amount of emotional over it but no one else does bc it's not an inherently emotional thing?
