The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. In an attempt at genocide, they've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.

Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Yunis (Northern Gaza Strip), with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.

Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.

In my conversation with Rana, she told me:

"Providing food and drink for my children right now is impossible. A bag of flour costs 1000 shekels ($272) and milk, for my little girl, is 100 shekels ($28). This is the least of what we need.

As for the tent, today my children froze from the cold because the tent is very, very, very worn out. And we drowned when it rained for a while. We couldn't sleep.

Please, if you know someone who can donate to me, I need it very, very much so that I can at least survive."

To help them get through this week, we must raise at least $1000 to cover the cost of flour and milk. The long term goal is $100,000.

My dumbass cannot just stick with a single brush to paint digitally with.

Not even because I think it's a bad brush for the specific thing I'm rendering or because I'm curious about how'd it look.

It's just..... sometimes, I forget I'm rendering and just randomly switch to a random brush out of habit.

Where the hell did i even get that from?!

It just.... appeared, and I've only noticed it just recently.....

My first hand at making a sonic OC!! They're right now, just placeholder for the concept of what I want them to be, buuuut......they may change later in the future. You can see I based them off the Sonic Mania Style.... *the Best Style of Sonic*. Mainly for simplicity sake, but it helped wet the soil a bit

Even during the war, with the education she had received before the war flipped her life upside-down, she put that knowledge to work, standing alongside nurses and doctors in the field and tending to horrible wounds with limited access to medical tools and resources - helping anyone she could, while hungry, thirsty, with nowhere but a flimsy tent to lay her head down at night, exposed to the harsh elements.

Mena's whole life has been dedicated to helping the people around her. It is now our turn to show Mena the unconditional love and support that she has shown to anybody lucky enough to cross her path. ❤️

The university contacted her a couple days ago, letting her know that she will have to pay the fees she's incurred for the online courses she's dedicated herself to during the war; studying as her childhood home was shelled and destroyed along with all of her and her family's things and lifetime of saved funds, memorizing her work as bombs dropped on her university, crumpling it to stone and dust.
